Meghalt huszonkét koronavírusos beteg egy indiai kórházban, miután több mint fél óráig nem kaptak oxigént. A baleset akkor következett be, amikor egy tartálykocsiból pótolták volna az elfogyott oxigént, de az szivárogni kezdett – számolt be a BBC-re hivatkozva az Origo.
A baleset szerdán történt a Nashik városában lévő Zaki Hussain kórházban. Egy oxigénszállító tartálykocsiból akarták újratölteni a kórház tárolótartályait, de valami hiba történt, tartálykocsiból kiáramlott az oxigén, és közben megszakadt a betegek Oxigénellátása.

Tisztviselők szerint legalább 30 percig nem jutott el az oxigén a betegekhez, ami végül a halálukat okozta. A város vezetése azt ígérte kivizsgálják az ügyet és intézkedni fognak.
