 Őrizetbe vettek Párizsban két tunéziai állampolgárt a múlt heti brüsszeli merénylettel összefüggésben, amelynek során egy tunéziai iszlamista merénylő lelőtt két svéd futballszurkolót – közölte kedden a francia terrorelhárítási ügyészség.
A tájékoztatás szerint a két ember ellen hétfőn eljárást indított egy vizsgálóbíró Párizsban terrorcselekmény és terrorcselekménnyel kapcsolatos gyilkosságban való bűnrészesség gyanúja miatt, melyet még Brüsszelben követhettek el.
 Mindkét gyanúsított tunéziai állampolgár, a párizsi régióban él, egyikük negyven, a másik ötven év körüli. A fiatalabb csaknem húsz éve Párizsban él, és határozottan tagadja a vádakat.
 Semmi köze se közelről, se távolról a merénylethez – mondta Souleymen Rakrouki ügyvéd, akinek a merénylő „régóta ismert barátja, de nem látta rajta a radikalizálódás jeleit”. Soha nem tudott volna elképzelni egy ilyen akciót tőle – hangsúlyozta a védő.
 A másik gyanúsított védői nem kívánták kommentálni a vádemeléseket.
 A terrorelhárítási ügyészség szerint az eljárás fogja feltárni, hogy a két gyanúsított milyen kapcsolatban állt a brüsszeli merénylet elkövetőjével, a 46 éves tunéziai származású iszlamista támadóval, Abdesalam Lassouddal, aki 2011-ben megszökött hazája egyik börtönéből, ahol 26 éves büntetését töltötte.
 Lassoud 2011-es szökése óta Norvégiában, Svédországban, Olaszországban, illetve Belgiumban folyamodott menekültstátuszért, de mindhárom országban elutasították. 2021 óta kitoloncolási végzés hatálya alatt állt, amelyet azonban soha nem hajtottak végre.
 A támadót múlt kedden lelőtte a belga rendőrség.
 Az üggyel kapcsolatban négy embert vettek őrizetbe csütörtökön Franciaországban, de kettőt szabadon engedtek.
