A kölni lakos 8000 euróval övtáskájában előbb megpróbált a terminál zöld sávján kijutni, amely azok számára van fenntartva, akiknek nincs elvámolni való árujuk. Az övtáskában lévő készpénz ugyan valódi volt, de a csomagok és a ruházat tüzetesebb átvizsgálatakor a keresőkutya segítségével 70 ezer euró és csaknem 3 ezer dollár hamis pénzt foglaltak le.
„Skadi egyike két készpénzkereső-kutyának a Köln-Bonn nemzetközi repülőtéren és kifejezetten nagy mennyiségű készpénz felkutatására lett kiképezve az embereken” – mondta Jens Ahland, a vámhatóság szóvivője. Hozzátette, hogy Skadi képes különböző valuták kiszagolására.
Ahland szerint amint a keresőkutya ilyen szagot érez, leül az érintett személy elé, s így volt ez ennek az embernek az esetében is. Skadi egy hatéves németjuhász, s öt éve dolgozik a vámhatóságnak.

Közel ötvenmillió euró értékben foglalt le hamis ötveneurósokat a pénzügyőrség egy nápolyi pénzverdében, ahol hét személyt vettek őrizetbe a pénzhamisító banda főnökével együtt – közölték az olasz hatóságok kedden.
A Nápoly kerületének számító Ponticelli egyik gyárépületében hamisították az ötveneurós papírpénzt.
A pénzügyőrség a kora reggeli órákban tört be az épületbe, ahol hét személyt vettek őrizetbe, köztük egy hetvenéves, büntetett előéletű nyomdászt, akit a hatóságok a hamisítók főnökének tartanak.
A lefoglalt hamis pénz értéke megközelíti az ötvenmillió eurót. A hamisításhoz használt gépekben további nyolcvan ív papírt találtak, melyek mindegyikével tizenkét bankót tudtak előállítani. A hatósági szakértők szerint a hamisítók az úgynevezett offset technikát használták, mellyel az eredeti ötveneurós bankjegy majdnem tökéletes másolatát tudták kinyomtatni.
A hamisítók a Napoli Group (Nápoly csoport) néven ismert bűnbanda tagjai. Ponticellibe áprilisban költöztek, azóta a hatóságok megfigyelés alatt tartották őket.
A hamisítók megállás nélkül dolgoztak: mind a heten turnusokban álltak a gépek mellett, melyeket soha nem állítottak le. A rendőrségi razzia idején is ketten aludtak, a többiek pedig dolgoztak. A pénzt az épületből folyamatosan furgonokkal szállították el.
A hatóságok hangsúlyozták, hogy a banda professzionális gépeket használt a pénznyomtatáshoz, és rendkívül jól szervezett volt: külső személyek vitték a hamisítóknak az ételt, így nem kellett soha elhagyniuk az épületet.
Nápoly és környéke a hamisítók hagyományos területének számít, egyebek között pénzt és útlevelet is professzionális minőségben képesek előállítani.
Az utóbbi öt évben tizenhat személyt tartóztattak le pénzhamisítás miatt, öt pénzverdét foglaltak le és hamis eurót százmillió értékben.

Spanyolországban a rendőrség felszámolt egy pénzhamisító bűnszervezetet. A hatóságok szerint a bűnözők két euró értékű érmék hamisítására specializálódtak, majd ezeket Európa-szerte terjesztették.
A hatóságok szerdai közlése szerint a bűnözők két euró névértékű érmék hamisítására szakosodtak, amelyeket aztán Európa-szerte hoztak forgalomba.
A spanyol hatóságok az Európai Unió rendőri együttműködési szervezetével (Europol) közösen fülelték le Toledo városában a hamisítók egyik műhelyét. A bűnszervezet csaknem félmillió darab hamis, de magas minőségben készített érmét dobott piacra. Az ügyben tíz gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe, akik mindannyian kínai állampolgárok.

Az elmúlt évtized legaktívabb, 500 eurós bankjegyekre szakosodott pénzhamisító bűnbandáját számolták fel Spanyolországban a hatóságok az Europol támogatásával.
A spanyol belügyminisztérium csütörtöki tájékoztatása szerint a csoport működése során több mint 8 millió euró értékű hamis pénzt gyártott.
A szeptember végén végrehajtott akcióban a rendőrök egy időben kilenc helyszínen csaptak le, és 12 embert tartóztattak le, köztük a bandát irányító nyomdászt.
A nyomozás 2021 közepén indult, miután kiváló minőségű hamis 500 eurós bankjegyek bukkantak fel a kereskedelmi forgalomban. Majd egy másik akcióban egy Barcelonához közeli településen több mint 4 millió értékben hamis 500 eurósokat találtak egy zsákban. A vizsgálat megállapította, hogy mind ugyanabból a hamisításból származnak.
A bankók ráadásul számos közös vonást mutattak egy korábbi, 2009-es esetben előkerült készpénzzel, így kezdtek el nyomozni az akkori elkövető után.
A férfiről kiderült: a picassenti börtönben megismert rabtársaiból szervezett bandát. Az általuk előállított hamist pénzt bűncselekmények elkövetésére, például drog vásárlására használták fel kisebb mennyiségekben, különböző városokban.
A hamisításnak a koronavírus-járvány vetett véget, ugyanis a korlátozások miatt nem tudták tovább beszerezni a hamisítványok előállításához szükséges anyagokat Kínából – olvasható a belügyminisztérium közleményében.

A nyomda a bolgár főváros egyik meg nem nevezett egyetemén működött. Az amerikai titkosszolgálattal közös akció során a rendőrök 3,6 millió euró és 4 millió dollár hamis pénzt találtak, ezen kívül dokumentumokat és a hamis pénzjegyek előállításához szükséges eszközöket foglaltak le.
Az egyetem két alkalmazottját, egy férfit és egy nőt őrizetbe vették. A rendőrség szerint a két gyanúsított egy nagyobb bűnözői szervezet tagja, amely hamis dollárok Ukrajnába és eurók Nyugat-Európába történő kereskedelmével foglalkozik.

A hatóságokat egy kispataki üdülőkomplexum és egy ökörmezői üzlet értesítette a két ismeretlen férfi tettéről.
A két férfi először Kispatakon váltotta be a hamis külföldi valutákat az üdülőközpontban, ezt követően pedig a telefonos szaküzlet munkatársát is átverte.
A rendőrség a Nagybereznai járásban állította elő őket, az ügyben eljárást indítottak, a nyomozás folyik.

A megyei rendőrség közleménye szerint egy 36 éves férfi visszaélt idős szomszédasszonya bizalmával, és hamis 1000 hrivnyás bankjegyet váltott fel nála – számolt be az karpataljalap.net.
Miután a 77 éves munkácsi nő megtudta, hogy a pénz hamis, azonnal a rendőrséghez fordult. A szakvizsgálat után a bűnüldöző szervek munkatársai a hamis pénz előállításának, tárolásának vagy forgalomba hozásának ténye miatt büntetőeljárást indítottak az elkövető férfi ellen.
A rendőrök vizsgálják a hamis pénz eredetét és értékesítésük egyéb lehetséges eseteit is. Tart a nyomozás.

422 millió hamis jüant foglaltak le kínai rendőrök, miután felderítettek egy pénzhamisítással foglalkozó hálózatot – jelentette a kínai közbiztonsági minisztériumra hivatkozva a Hszinhua kínai állami hírügynökség.
A rendőrök 422 millió jüan (19,46 milliárd forint) névértékű hamis bankjegyet foglaltak le, ami a legnagyobb összértékű, egy ügyhöz kapcsolódó hamis pénz a Kínai Népköztársaság 1949-es megalapítása óta – írja a Hszinhua. A minisztérium szerint a hamisított bankjegyeket mind sikerült lefoglalni mielőtt kiszivároghattak volna a közforgalomba.
Az északkelet-kínai Hejlungcsiang, valamint a dél-kínai Kuangtung tartomány rendőrei közös akció keretében leplezték le a pénzhamisítással foglalkozó bűnszervezetet, és 16 gyanúsítottat vettek őrizetbe. A bankjegyeken kívül hamis pénz előállítására használt berendezéseket, és alapanyagokat is lefoglaltak. A kuangtungi rendőrség még 2019 végén figyelt fel a pénzhamisítási tevékenységre utaló jelekre, a gyanúsítottakat pedig három hónapnyi nyomozás után kerítették kézre.
