A Bert névre keresztelt vihar hatalmas pusztítást végzett az Egyesült Királyságban: özönvízszerű esőzések, orkánerejű szél és havazás okozott káoszt az elmúlt napokban. A rendkívüli időjárás emberéleteket követelt, több tízezer háztartás maradt áram nélkül, és a közlekedés is megbénult számos régióban. Miközben a mentőalakulatok folyamatosan dolgoznak a károk helyreállításán, a meteorológiai szolgálat további figyelmeztetéseket adott ki, hiszen a vihar hatásai még nem múltak el teljesen. A következő napokban várhatóan enyhülés érkezik, de újabb esőzés és erős szél sem kizárt.



Erős vihar sújtott le az Egyesült Királyságra: szél, eső és hó is érkezett. A Bert névre keresztelt vihar az elmúlt napokban jelentős károkat okozott az Egyesült Királyságban.






Az ország számos területén heves esőzés, erős szél és néhol havazás alakult ki.



Az elmúlt 24 órában a lehullott csapadék mennyisége helyenként meghaladta a 130 mm-t, miközben a széllökések néhol a 120 kilométer/órás sebességet is elérték.



Rendkívüli figyelmeztetéseket adtak ki két napja a lakosság számára, mivel több mint 300 otthont fenyegetett az árvíz, a közlekedés is részlegesen megbénult.



A vihar hatalmas pusztítást végzett



Hampshire-ben egy ember meghalt, miután fa dőlt a kocsijára, Észak-Walesben pedig tíz embert mentettek ki egy földcsuszamlás sújtotta házból. Walesben tegnap egy újabb holttestet találtak, egy 75 éves nőként azonosították, aki kutyasétáltatás közben tűnt el a vihar idején.



A nyugat-yorkshire-i rendőrség közölte, hogy egy 34 éves férfi is meghalt, miután kocsijával egy másiknak ütközött szombat hajnalban – írja a Guardian.



Több tízezer háztartásban jelenleg sincs áram, különösen a Midlands, Délnyugat-Anglia, Dél-Wales, Északkelet-Anglia, Yorkshire és Észak-Lincolnshire régiókban – írta meg a  Magyar Nemzet.



A teljes erejével lecsapó hóvihar hatalmas káoszt okozott a newcastle-i repülőtéren, az utasok elmondása szerint vagy törölték a járataikat, vagy késéssel indultak el. Volt, akinek hét órát kellett várnia a járatára – írja a The Sun.



A Bert vihar az Egyesült Királyság útjain is pusztít, nem jártak rendesen a vonatok és kompok sem.



A figyelmeztetések továbbra is érvényben vannak



Andy Page, a brit meteorológiai szolgálat vezető meteorológusa elmondta: A Bert vihar továbbra is komoly fennakadásokat okoz. Számos területen figyelmeztetés van érvényben a szél és az eső miatt.



Page hozzátette, hogy a havazás kockázata mára jelentősen csökkent, azonban a csapadék továbbra is érinti az ország nagy részét, különösen Dél-Angliát és Dél-Walest. Ezeken a területeken a nap folyamán várhatóan mérséklődik az eső intenzitása.



Az erős déli szél továbbra is problémát jelent, különösen Anglia középső, déli és keleti részén, valamint Észak-Írországban és Nyugat-Skóciában.



A széllökések itt elérhetik a 96 kilométer/órát, a szabad partokon pedig akár a 112 kilométer/órát is meghaladhatják. A meteorológiai szolgálat figyelmeztetései naprakészen követhetők, mivel a helyzet gyorsan változhat.



Előrejelzés a következő napokra



A jelenlegi előrejelzések szerint a Bert vihar kedden reggelre elvonul északkelet felé. A jövő hét nagy részére csendesebb idő ígérkezik, bár kedd este és szerdán újabb esőzések és erős szél várható az Egyesült Királyság déli részén.



A hosszabb távú előrejelzések szerint rövid időre hidegebb, de szárazabb időszak következhet. Ugyanakkor a hét végére Nyugat-Európa felől ismét esőzés érkezhet. A brit meteorológiai szolgálat arra kéri a lakosságot, hogy folyamatosan tájékozódjanak a legfrissebb hírekről a brit meteorológiai szolgálat a honlapján.



Károk a vihar után



A mentőszolgálatok és a tűzoltók folyamatosan dolgoznak a károk elhárításán és a sérültek mentésén.



A vihar gazdasági következményei is jelentősek lehetnek, a közlekedés és az energiaellátás zavarai miatt.



Megkezdődik a takarítás Észak-Írországban



Számos házat elöntött a víz Down és Tyrone megyében szombaton a Bert vihar okozta heves esőzések után.



A házak és a közterületek fertőtlenítése csak a törmelékek eltakarítása után kezdődhet meg.



Körülbelül 18 ingatlan volt érintett, valamint számos autó sérült meg a Dundonald állambeli Park Avenue-n az árvíz következtében.



Walesi kormány: Sikeres volt a védekezés



Eluned Morgan walesi miniszter szerint az árvíz pusztító volt, de az akcióterv működött, hisz az elmúlt néhány évben több száz millió fontot fordítottak Wales árvízvédelmére. A kormány szóvivője arra kérte az embereket, hogy az elkövetkező napokban kövessék a hivatalos tanácsokat.



A kormány együttműködik partnereivel, hogy támogatást nyújtson az érintetteknek.



Hozzátették, hogy az árvízvédelmi akcióterv számos otthon és vállalkozás védelmében játszott szerepet, és tovább fejlesztik a programot annak érdekében, hogy a közösségek a jövőben még ellenállóbbá váljanak a súlyos időjárási eseményekkel szemben – írja a BBC.

Az orosz dróntámadás következtében Odesszában egy 11 emeletes ház, egy gázvezeték és 14 autó sérült meg. Egy 30 éves férfi megsebesült, és a robbanás következtében az érintett házakban az ablakokat is kitörte a robbanáshullám.













Az ellenség lakóövezeteket támadott Odeszában. A Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ) és az ügyészség közzétették a támadás következményeiről készült fényképeket.







Jelenleg Odesszában folytatódik a helyszíni szemle, és pontosítják a támadás következtében történt károk teljes listáját. Az ügyészség adatai szerint egy 11 emeletes ház, egy gázvezeték és legalább 14 helyi autó sérült meg.













A katasztrófavédelem közölte, hogy a tűzszerészi egység továbbra is dolgozik, és folytatódik a terület átvizsgálása és a veszélyes törmelékek keresése.

A trópusi ciklon miatt mintegy félmillió háztartásban szűnt meg az áramszolgáltatást – közölte a helyi kormány.






A vihar a tajvani központi időjárási hivatal szerint a hegyvidéki és ritkán lakott keleti Tajtung megyét érte el, az erős szél és a szakadó eső szinte az egész szigetet érintette.



A tűzoltóság arról számolt be, hogy egy ember meghalt, mert teherautója kidőlt fának ütközött Tajvan középső részén.



A korábban szupertájfunnak minősített Kong-rej az éjszaka folyamán kissé gyengült, de a trópusi viharkockázat szerint a 4-es kategóriájú hurrikánnak megfelelő erejű, több mint óránkénti 250 kilométeres sebességű széllökésekkel tomboló szélvihar maradt.



A tajvani meteorológiai hivatal szerint a tájfun kiterjedése a legnagyobb, amely 1996 óta elérte a szigetet.

Az időjárási előrejelzések szerint a tájfun a keleti partokat elérve a Tajvani-szoros felé tart majd, de már jóval gyengébb viharként. A szolgálat ettől függetlenül felszólította az embereket a szigeten, hogy maradjanak otthon.



Kelet-Tajvan egyes részein egy méternyi csapadékot mértek azóta, hogy a tájfun szerdán közeledni kezdett.



A védelmi minisztérium 36 ezer katonát helyezett készenlétbe, hogy segítsenek a mentési munkálatokban, míg a kormány közlése szerint mintegy tízezer embert evakuáltak a magas kockázatú területekről.



A tajvani közlekedési minisztérium arról számolt be, hogy 314 nemzetközi és belföldi légijáratot törölték. A tajvani nagysebességű vasútvonal, amely a lakott nyugati síkság nagyvárosait köti össze, jelentősen csökkentett forgalommal folytatta működését.



A Kong-rej az előrejelzések szerint péntek reggelre elérheti majd Kína szárazföldi területén Fucsien tartomány partvidékét és továbbhalad majd Sanghaj felé.

Napok óta erődtüzek tombolnak Bulgáriában, két falut is evakuálni kellett, több tucat ház és sok termőföld már a lángok martalékává vált. A helyi tűzoltóság munkáját török és cseh tűzoltók segítik, de bíznak abban, hogy a napokban fordulat jöhet az időjárásban és csapadékot hozhatnak a viharok. Többen a bolgár miniszterelnök és belügyminiszter lemondását követelik.



Bulgáriában napok óta pusztító erdőtüzek tombolnak, amelyek nyomán termőföldek és házak tucatjai is a lángok martalékává váltak – közölte csütörtökön a bolgár sajtó, melyet az MTI szemlézett. Csak a délkeleti fekvésű Voden faluban a rendkívüli hőségben, szárazságban és heves széllökések mellett 35 ház égett le, és több jószág is elpusztult.






A falu mintegy 500 lakóját evakuálták, ahogy egy ottani idősek otthon 19 lakóját is. A szintén délkeleti fekvésű Harmanli határában egy juhtenyésztéssel foglalkozó mezőgazdasági üzem égett le. Voden lakói arra panaszkodtak, hogy nem kaptak figyelmeztetést mobiltelefonjukra.



A hatóságok szerint a Bg Alert riasztását azért nem használhatták, mert az áramot a tűz miatt le kellett állítani, így a telefonhálózat sem működött.



A hőhullám közepette kitört tüzek politikai kérdéssé váltak, sokan Dimitar Glavcsev ügyvivő bolgár miniszterelnök és Kalin Sztojanov belügyminiszter kudarcát látták a helyzet kezelésében. Két parlamenti párt a két politikus lemondását követelte. Glavcsev ugyanakkor ellátogatott az egyik érintett faluba, ahol a tűzoltóság munkáját méltatta hangsúlyozva, a tüzek nem követeltek emberéletet.



A bolgár hatóságokat cseh és török tűzoltócsapatok is segítik abban, hogy úrrá legyenek az erdőtüzeken. A meteorológusok az elkövetkezendő napokban csapadékot hozó viharokra számítanak.

Asszosz kilencven százaléka leégett – közölte Mesut Bayram, Ayvacik városnegyed polgármestere szerdán a Halk televízióban. Az egykori kikötővárost az időszámításunk előtti VIII. században alapították a Dardanellák partján fekvő Canakkale törökországi tartományban.



Sérültekről nem érkeztek jelentések. Mesut Bayram elmondta, hogy hat helikopter, két repülőgép és 30-40 teherautó vett részt az oltásban.

A polgármester közölte, hogy a tűzoltók teljesen körülzárták a szomszédos Behram városát, ahonnan a lakosok egy részét a rendőrség kimenekítette, a tűzoltóhelikopterek és repülőgépek pedig a szomszédos bozótosban pusztító erdőtüzet igyekeztek megfékezni.



A tüzet feltehetően egy eldobott égő cigarettacsikk, vagy az út szélére ledobott vizesüveg okozhatta – mondta a polgármester a Halk televízióban.



A Canakkale városától mintegy 85 kilométerre fekvő Asszosz népszerű turisztikai nevezetesség, az ókorban számos filozófus és tudós – közöttük Arisztotelész – járt itt – olvasható a török kulturális és idegenforgalmi minisztérium honlapján.



A romváros egyik legjelentősebb nevezetessége Pallasz Athénének, a bölcsesség istennőjének a temploma, Anatólia egyik legrégebbi dór stílusú temploma. A rómaiak később 4000 nézőt befogadó óriási színházat építettek a városban.

Megmaradt holmijaikat szedik össze az emberek romhalmazzá vált otthonuk mellett Laguna Heights-ben, ahol pusztító erejű tornádó söpört végig. A mintegy 170 kilométer per órás sebességű forgószél a hajnali órákban csapott le Texas állam déli partjainál.



Szó szerint a semmiből bukkant elő, alig négy percig tartott, de a természet így is megmutatta az erejét – fogalmazott a megyei bíró.



Legkevesebb egy ember életét vesztette. Az áldozat egy 46 éves férfi, aki a mobilházában halt meg. Több mint tízen megsérültek, ketten közülük súlyos állapotban vannak, a többiek kisebb zúzódásokkal megúszták.









Több mint hatvan épület rongálódott meg vagy vált lakhatatlanná. A helyzetet súlyosbítja, hogy Texas Állam déli része Amerika szegényebb régiói közé tartozik, ahol a legtöbben mobilházakban élnek. Ezek azonban sokkal inkább ki vannak téve a tornádók pusztításainak, mint a hagyományos házak.



A legjobb, amit tehetünk, hogy ellenállóbb házakat építenünk az egész területen, hogy ne kelljen újra szembesülnünk egy ilyen katasztrófával – mondta a meteorológiai szolgálat munkatársa.



A tornádó miatt több tucat embert evakuáltak, őket ideiglenes szállásokon helyezték el. A helyi hatóságok vészhelyzetet hirdettek, és éjszakai kijárási tilalmat rendeltek el.



A hétvégén legalább 30 forgószelet jelentettek Amerikából, például Oklahomából, Nebraskából és Kansasből. A széltölcsérek hatalmas pusztítást hagytak maguk után. Az Egyesült Államokban évente mintegy 1200 forgószelet tapasztalnak.

Már több mint 1,7 millió hektáron pusztítanak az erdőtüzek Oroszországban, szinte teljes egészében a távol-keleti Jakutföldön – erről tájékoztattak hétfőn az orosz hatóságok.



Jakutföldön jelenleg 216 különböző térségben, összesen 1 562 252 hektárnyi területen lángolnak az erdők – derül ki a jakutföldi környezetvédelmi minisztérium közleményéből.







Csaknem 2200 ember vesz részt a tűz oltásában Jakutföldön, amely a több mint 3,08 millió négyzetkilométeres területével Oroszország legkiterjedtebb közigazgatási egysége. Az oltásban részt vesz továbbá a rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumának légierejéhez tartozó szárazföldi csoport, valamint két Be-200-as repülőgép is.



A helyzet a jakutföldin kívül a szintén távol-keleti Magadanban a legsúlyosabb, ahol 23 területen ég a tűz, több mint 150 ezer hektáron – közölte a rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériumának szóvivője az Interfax orosz hírügynökséggel. Az elmúlt nap során öt különböző, közel 28 ezer hektáros területen sikerült megfékezni a tüzet. A szóvivő elmondta továbbá, hogy nincsenek lakott területek, amelyeket a tűz fenyegetne.



Az AP amerikai hírügynökség megjegyzi: az Oroszországot sújtó erdőtüzek okaként a szokatlanul magas hőmérsékletet és a tűzbiztonsági előírások be nem tartását teszik felelőssé. Jelenleg több mint 60 orosz régióban van érvényben figyelmeztetés tűz miatt, nyolc szövetségi területen – Cseljabinszk, Jakutföld, Karélia, Perm, Krasznojarszk, Irkutszk, Csukcsföld, Kamcsatka – pedig vészhelyzetet rendeltek el.







Az erdőtüzek mérgező füstje mindeközben tovább terjedt szerte Oroszország távol-keleti részén. A hatóságok szerint sűrű füst borította el Jakutföld székhelyét, Jakutszkot, illetve további több mint 60 települést a térségben. A szélirány miatt a füst kelet felé vonul tovább – figyelmeztetett a habarovszki területi rendkívüli helyzetek minisztériuma. A lakosokat felszólították, hogy a házból kilépve viseljenek védőmaszkot, illetve szigeteljék le ajtajaikat és ablakaikat.
