Az első áldozatot 2016 júniusában ölte meg Andrej Tregubenko és Olga Bolsakova, akiket a „sátánimádók vallási és misztikus mozgalma” iránti rajongás hozott össze. A férfi Karéliában erdőbe csalt egy ismerős lányt, ahol több késszúrással végzett vele. A bűntársak a holttestet és a kést elásták, az áldozat telefonját és pénzét elvették.






Még ugyanazon a nyáron összeálltak Alekszandr Perevozscsikov-Hmurijjal és Tatyjana Derjuginával, és megállapodtak, hogy a továbbiakban négyesben fognak rituális gyilkosságokat elkövetni. Bolsakova 2016 augusztusában a leningrádi régióban csábított az erdőbe egy férfit, ahol a sátánisták brutálisan megverték és halálra szurkálták. A holttestet elásták, a személyes holmiját az értéktárgyai kivételével máglyán elégették.



Tregubenko ugyanebben hónapban moszkvai régióban lévő Balasihában részegen, szóváltás során leszúrta egy ismerősét. Az áldozat vérével egy lakásban a bűntársaival együtt szertartást végzett, majd Bolsakova tóba dobta a kést.



A sokáig felderítetlen rituális gyilkosságok ügye 2021-ben a rendőrségtől az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság (SZK) központi hivatalához került át. Elsőként Tregubenko akadt fent gyanúsítottként a rostán, amikor Karéliában és a leningrádi régióban eltűnt emberek ismerőseit ellenőrizték. A Bolsakovával közös lakásán a nyomozók – meg nem nevezett – nagy mennyiségű kábítószert találtak.



Tregubenkót életfogytiglani, Perevozcsikov-Hmurijt 15 évi, Gyerjuginát pedig 13 év szabadságvesztésre ítélte a bíróság. Bolsakova már korábban 14 évet kapott.
