A jelentés szerint az SZBU lehallgatott egy telefonbeszélgetést, amely arról tanúskodott, hogy legalább néhány orosz katona megpróbál elmenekülni a csatatérről a súlyos veszteségek miatt. Az egyik ilyen katona dandárjának a maradványai Mikolajiv körzetében állomásozik. „120 embert küldtek a dandárból sebesülésekkel a kórházba, további 320 sebesült is van, és 350 katona halott” – mondta telefonon az anyjának.
A katona elmondása szerint az orosz harcosok 7,62-es kaliberű ukrán lőszert keresnek, hogy lábon lőhessék magukat, és kórházba kerüljenek.
