Egy ukrán nő ajak- és mellnagyobbító beavatkozását fedezte fel a bécsi rendőrség egy menekültszálláson végzett rutinellenőrzés során.
A bécsi Szövetségi Bűnüldözési Hivatalnál (BKA) immár hét éve működik a „SOLBE” nevű munkacsoport, amely a szociális juttatásokkal kapcsolatos visszaélések felderítésére szakosodott – méghozzá kiemelkedő eredményekkel. 2018 óta 25 156 gyanúsítottat vontak eljárás alá, és 23 653 feljelentést tettek. A BKA csoportvezetője, Gerald Tatzgern szerint az okozott kár összesen már eléri a 135,6 millió eurót. A nyomozások célzott jellegét jól illusztrálja egy friss eset, amely egy ukrán menekültszálláson történt.

Izraeli biztonsági erők tüzet nyitottak egy segélykonvojra, ami miatt az ENSZ a történtek kivizsgálását sürgeti – közölte szerdán Stéphane Dujarric, a világszervezet főtitkárának szóvivője New Yorkban.
„Tegnap este (augusztus 26. – a szerk.) tíz alkalommal lőttek izraeli lövészek egy, az izraeli hadsereggel teljességgel egyeztetett konvojban haladó, világosan megjelölt humanitárius ENSZ-járműre” – ismertette a kedden történt incidenst Dujarric.
„Magyarázatot szeretnénk kapni arra, hogy talán az információkat nem adták-e tovább, szándékosan történt-e mindez, vagy esetleg más oka lehetett-e a történteknek” – fűzte hozzá az ENSZ-szóvivő. Szerencsére páncélozott járműről volt szó, így az utasok nem sérültek meg.
Dujarric egyben aggodalmát fejezte ki az ENSZ-t, illetve a szervezet főtitkárát „démonizáló” retorikával kapcsolatban. Mint mondta, a szavak következményekkel járnak.
A Hamász palesztin terrorszervezet október 7-i összehangolt támadása és Izrael ennek nyomán Gázai övezetben indított katonai beavatkozása óta egy jelentés szerint az ENSZ csaknem 300 alkalmazottja vesztette életét, mindenek előtt légicsapásokban. Az áldozatok zöme a palesztin menekülteket segítő ENSZ-szervezet (UNRWA) munkatársa volt.

Iszmáil esz-Szavarka, a szervezet sajtóirodájának vezetője elmondta, 12-en a tengerbe hulló csomagok után vettették magukat a vízbe, de megfulladtak, többeket pedig a szárazföldön landolt segélycsomagok körül kialakult tülekedésben nyomtak agyon.
A Hamász egyúttal a légi úton történő segélyszállítás leállítását és szárazföldi útvonalak azonnali megnyitását sürgette a humanitárius segélyek célba juttatása érdekében.
Iszmáil esz-Szavarka kiemelte, hogy már többször figyelmeztették a segíteni szándékozó országokat a légi szállítás veszélyeire.
Hozzátette, hogy a mostani tragédiának több halálos áldozata is gyermek.
Több ország, köztük az Egyesült Királyság, az Egyesült Államok, Franciaország és Egyiptom hetek óta légi úton, ejtőernyő segítségével igyekeznek segélycsomagokat juttatni az övezetben élőkhöz. Március elején öt embert csaptak agyon a levegőből lehulló csomagok Gázavárosban.
A hét végén António Guterres ENSZ-főtitkár ugyancsak síkra szállt a szárazföldi útvonalak használata mellett, és újabb átkelők létrehozását sürgette.
A Gázai övezeti fegyveres konfliktus októberi kitörése előtt – az ENSZ adatai szerint – naponta legkevesebb 500 segélykamion érkezett az övezetbe, melyet Izrael 2007 óta tartott blokád alatt.
Philippe Lazzarini, az ENSZ palesztin menekülteket segélyező szervezetének (UNRWA) vezetője kedden bejelentette, hogy az UNRWA május végéig rendelkezik elegendő forrással programjai folytatásához.
Hozzátette, hogy egy hónappal ezelőtt még csupán egy-két hétre előre tudtak számolni, miután számos ország felfüggesztette a szervezet segélyezését.
A felfüggesztésről szóló döntést – melyet később többen visszavontak – azt követően jelentették be a donorországok, hogy Izrael azt állította, az ügynökség alkalmazásában állók közül többen is részt vettek a Hamász október elején izraeli területen elkövetett terrortámadásában.
Ugyancsak kedden James Elder, az ENSZ Gyermekalapjának (UNICEF) szóvivője a Gázában élő gyerekeket és fiatal felnőtteket sújtó élelmiszerbizonytalanság súlyosbodására hívta fel a figyelmet.
Azt is kijelentette: sok fiatal azt mondja az UNICEF munkatársainak, remélik, hogy a következő légitámadásban meghalnak, „hogy véget érjen ez a rémálom”. Elder szerint az övezetben dúló éhínséget előidézték, s rámutatott arra, hogy „teherautók százai várakoznak a határoknál, de nem engedik be őket”.
Az ENSZ Humanitárius Ügyek Koordinációs Hivatala (OCHA) kedden felszólította Izraelt, biztosítsa az élelmiszersegélyek szétosztását a gázai civilek között.

Thomas White, az UNRWA gázai irodavezetője aggasztónak nevezte a jelenséget, kiemelve, hogy a raktárak megrohamozása arra utal, hogy a majdnem három hete szigorú blokád alatt álló övezetben kezd felbomlani a rend.

Izrael azt követően rendelte el a Gázai övezet teljes blokádját, hogy a Gázát irányító Hamász iszlamista terrorcsoport fegyveresei október 7-én meglepetésszerű támadást indítottak a zsidó állam ellen, betörtek az ország déli részébe, több mint 1400 embert meggyilkoltak, további mintegy háromezret megsebesítettek, valamint mintegy 230 embert elraboltak és túszként tartanak fogva.
Az Izraeli Védelmi Erők olyan képeket tettek közzé korábban, amelyeken látható hogy a palesztin terrorszervezet rakétákat helyezett el polgári épületek – köztük iskolák, ENSZ-épülete és mecsetek – közvetlen közelében, ezzel egyfajta élő pajzsnak használják a palesztin civil lakosságot.
Az izraeli kormány engedélyével sok kamionnyi segélyszállítmány érkezett a térségbe, valamint az izraeli hadsereg szóvivője felszólította az észak-gázaiakat a délre való menekülésre, azonban úgy tudni, hogy a Hamász akadályozza a civil lakosságot a térség elhagyásában.
„Továbbra is arra kérjük Gáza lakóit, menjenek délre. A Hamász élő pajzsként használ benneteket” – figyelmeztette korábban a civileket Daniel Hagari, az izraeli hadsereg szóvivője.
A döntés értelmében Izrael azóta elzárta a vizet, az áramot és az élelmiszerellátást.
Az első segélykonvoj 21-én érkezett az övezetbe a rafahi átkelőn keresztül. Az ENSZ szerint napi 100 kamion kellene a 2,4 millió gázai lakos ellátásához.
Az UNRWA vasárnap reggel azt is bejelentette, hogy a Hamász és Izrael között dúló háborúban már 59 munkatársa vesztette életét.

„A partnerek által 136 millió hrivnya értékben adományozott berendezések segítették az emberek evakuálását, a víz kiszivattyúzását az elárasztott házakból, az orosz rakétatámadások következményeinek felszámolását, biztosították az ivóvizet és az áramot” – jegyezte meg a Belügyminisztérium vezetője.
„A terrortámadás következtében a gát 28 nyílásából 11 megsemmisült. 150 tonna kenőanyag szivárgott ki az erőmű 3. gépteréből. A Kahovkai Vízerőművet már nem lehet helyreállítani” – hangsúlyozta Ihor Klimenko.
Általában naponta több mint kétezer ember, háromszáz technikai berendezés, és több mint száz vízi jármű vett részt az orosz terrortámadás következményeinek felszámolásában.
„Dnyipropetrovszk, Mikolajiv és Herszon régió 180 települése került a veszélyzónába. Körülbelül 875 000 ember élt ott. 34-en meghaltak, 28-an megsérültek. 39 embert eltűntté nyilvánítottak” – áll a közleményben.
Csaknem négyezer embert és több száz háziállatot evakuáltak az elöntött területekről. A mentés során 716 embert mentettek ki az említette területekről, köztük 30 gyermeket és 40 mozgáskorlátozottat.
Csaknem 700 000 ukrán polgár maradt ivóvíz nélkül.
Korábban közölték, hogy az állami költségvetésből 4,3 milliárd hrivnyát különítettek el a Kahovkai Vízerőmű felrobbantása következményeinek leküzdésére.

Több mint 100 doboz, kábítószert tartalmazó Tramadol gyógyszert foglaltak le a Kárpátaljai Vámhivatal csempészet és vámszabályok megsértése elleni osztályának felügyelői az ukrán–szlovák határon. A fuvarozó a humanitárius rakomány között, engedély nélkül szállította egy kisbuszban az Európai Unióból Ukrajna vámterületére. Az eset az ungvári határátkelőn történt.
A vámellenőrzés során a kárpátaljai fuvarozó átadta a kísérő okmányokat, amelyek szerint humanitárius rakományt, 2 raklapnyi, 32 doboz, közel 600 kg egészségügyi felszerelést és terméket (gyógyszert), szállít Ukrajnába10,6 ezer euró értékben.
A szállítmányt egy ukrán jótékonysági szervezetnek címezték. A fuvarozó szóban arról biztosította az ellenőröket, hogy nem szállít olyan árut, amelynek szállítása az államhatáron keresztül tiltott vagy korlátozva van.
A határátkelő dolgozói azonban úgy döntöttek, alaposabb vizsgálatot tartanak a gépjárműben. A csomagtérben 100 csomag Tramadol gyógyászati terméket találtak (1000 db tabletta dobozonként), amelyek kartondobozokba voltak csomagolva. Mint kiderült, a fuvarozónak nem volt engedélye a kábítószert tartalmazó gyógyászati készítmény határon át való szállítására.
A tramadolhydrochlorid hatóanyag egyébként szerepel a kábítószer, pszichotróp anyagok és prekurzorok listáján. A kormány által elfogadott határozat értelmében a termék a megfelelő tranzit- vagy exportengedélyekkel behozható Ukrajna vámterületére.
A fuvarozóra Ukrajna Vámkódexe 471. cikkelyének 3. része alapján jegyzőkönyvet állítottak ki, a gyógyszert lefoglalták. A jogszabály háromszáz adómentes minimálbérnek megfelelő pénzbírság kiszabásáról és a tiltott áru elkobzásáról rendelkezik.
Egyébként interneten egy doboz Tramadol (1000 tabletta) ára 10 000 hrivnya, tehát 100 doboz hozzávetőleges összköltsége eléri az egymillió hrivnyát – számolt be Kárpátaljai Vámhivatal sajtószolgálata.

A szombati vulkánkitörés és szökőár után csak mostanra sikerült lehetővé tenni, hogy repülőgépek szálljanak le a segéllyel.
Megérkeztek a vulkánkitörés és szökőár sújtotta Tongára az első segélyszállító repülőgépek, miután megtisztították a szigetország fő leszállópályáját a vulkáni hamutól.
A 105 ezer lakosú csendes-óceáni szigetországot harminc éve nem tapasztalt erősségű tűzhányókitörés, majd ennek hatására cunami sújtotta szombaton. Hárman életüket vesztették, nagyon sok épület megsemmisült, és nincs helyben tiszta ivóvíz.
Az ENSZ szerint a lakosság legalább 80 százalékát súlyosan érinti a katasztrófa.
Elsőként az új-zélandi légierő C-130 Hercules típusú szállítógépe tudott leszállni a Fua’amotu nemzetközi repülőtéren. A repülő humanitárius és katasztrófamentési segélyt vitt, tábori felszerelést, generátorokat és távközlési eszközöket.
A Reuters hírügynökség szerint azután az ausztrál légierő egy C17-es típusú szállítógépe landolt, a gyomrában tengervízlepárló berendezéssel, sátrakkal, tábori konyhákkal és takarítógéppel, amelyet a leszállópálya alaposabb megtisztítására lehet használni. Még csütörtökön érkezik egy újabb ausztrál gép is további segéllyel.
Új-Zélandról két hajó is tart Tongára, az egyik már pénteken odaér 250 ezer liter ivóvízzel és tengervízlepárló berendezéssel, amely naponta 70 ezer liter ivóvizet képes előállítani. Ausztrália is elindít egy hajót pénteken.
Ausztrália tongai főképviselője azt mondta: az anyagi kár katasztrofális. „Végig a nyugati part, amelyen szép üdülőhelyek és sok ház volt, most holdbéli tájra hasonlít. A legfontosabb most az ivóvíz biztosítása.”
Noha a telefonkapcsolatot a külvilággal szerdán sikerült helyreállítani, az internetkapcsolat javítása legalább egy hónapot vesz majd igénybe – közölte az internetkapcsolatot biztosító, a vulkánkitörés során megsérült tenger alatti kábel tulajdonosa.
