A jelentés szerint ukrán és nyugati források arról számoltak be, hogy brit Storm Shadow cirkálórakétákat vetettek be az ukrán erők Oroszország Fekete-tengeri Flottájának Szevasztopoli főhadiszállása ellen. „Storm Shadow rakéták voltak” – mondta el hírtelevízió egyik forrása.
A közösségi médiában közzétett képeken robbanások és lángok láthatók, amint ma kora reggel az éjszakai égboltot megvilágítja az égő hajógyár Szevasztopolban.
A hírportál emlékeztetett arra, hogy szerdára virradóra robbanások dördültek a megszállt Szevasztopolban. Később az orosz védelmi minisztérium bejelentette, hogy támadás történt. Az oroszok szerint 10 cirkálórakétát lőttek az Ordzsonikidze hajójavító üzemre Szevasztopolban, amelyek közül az oroszok, állításuk szerint, 7-et lelőttek.
