A tájékoztatás szerint a szombati incidens során egy füstjelző kapcsolt be az Airbus A319 típusú gép fedélzetén az utasok beszállásakor.
A repülőtéri személyzet öt tagja sérülést szenvedett
szivárgó olaj miatt, amikor kinyitották a rakodónyílást, amelynek hidraulikus rendszerében a meghibásodás bekövetkezett. A mentőegységek négyüket könnyebb sérülésekkel kórházba vitték.
Az eredetileg Londonba készülő repülőgép a történtek nyomán nem indulhatott el. Az incidens egyéb fennakadásokat nem okozott a repülőtér működésében.
