Súlyos ipari baleset történt Oroszország déli részén, melyben több munkás is életét vesztette.
Legkevesebb tíz munkás életét vesztette a Rosztov megyei Dmitriadovka község szennyvíztisztítójában történt balesetben, további nyolc embert pedig kórházban ápolnak – közölték pénteken orosz hírügynökségek.
“Nyolcméteres mélységben végzett munkálatok következtében metánbetörés történt a szennyvíztisztító telepen” – jelentette ki a helyszínen Vaszilij Golubev, Rosztov megye kormányzója az Interfax szerint.
Taganrog önkormányzata közölte, hogy a péntek reggeli baleset áldozatai a város csatornázási műveinek alkalmazottjai voltak. A mentőszolgálatok a csatornákban esetleges további áldozatok után kutatnak.
Az ügyben az orosz Nyomozó Bizottság (SZK) a munkavédelmi előírások halált okozó megsértése címén büntetőeljárást indított.
