Oroszország szerint Ukrajna „példátlan támadást” indított Szentpétervár és környéke ellen, miközben a városban éppen egy gazdasági fórumot tartottak.
Leningrád régió kormányzója, Aleksandr Drozdenko szerint több mint 140 dróncsapás érte a területet, míg Szentpétervár polgármestere, Aleksandr Beglov arra szólította fel a lakosokat, hogy maradjanak otthon. Ez utoljára 2022-ben, a teljes körű orosz invázió kezdeteinél történt meg – számolt be a BBC.

A dróncsapásokban részt vevő egyik ukrán egység parancsnoka a BBC-nek azt mondta, hogy nagyon könnyű eltalálni a célpontokat Oroszország területén. „Oroszországban úgy repülünk, mintha a saját területünk lenne. Az Ukrinform cikke szerint Volodimir Zelenszkij arról számolt be, hogy az ukrán drónok az éjszaka folyamán mintegy ezer kilométert tettek meg, és a korábbi híreknek megfelelően valóban elérték az orosz haditengerészet szentpétervári térségben található arzenáljait, valamint a kronstadti haditengerészeti bázist.
Az ukrán elnök közölte, hogy egy másik csapás során mintegy 500 kilométerre, a krasznodari régióban egy olajraktárt is találat ért. Zelenszkij szerint az akciók az ukrán fegyveres erők, a biztonsági szolgálat (SZBU) és a katonai hírszerzés közös műveleteinek eredményei.

Krzysztof Krajewski moszkvai lengyel nagykövet csütörtökön arról számolt be, hogy Szentpéterváron egy csoport hangosan szidalmazta, illetve megpróbálta útját elállni – számolt be az MTI.
Krajewski elmondása szerint a Néva-parti város főutcáján, a Nyevszkij sugárúton egy aktivistákból álló kisebb csoport lépett elé, lengyel- és ukránellenes bekiabálásokkal zaklatta, majd megpróbálta feltartóztatni. A nagykövet a csoport viselkedéséből arra következtetett, hogy az incidens nem a véletlen műve volt. Kíséretének gyors beavatkozásának köszönhetően nem történt komolyabb incidens, Krajewski az eset után tiltakozó jegyzéket küldött az orosz hatóságoknak.
Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz lengyel védelmi miniszter a történteket a diplomáciai normák súlyos megsértésének nevezte. Hangsúlyozta: Lengyelország elvárja, hogy Oroszország gondoskodjon a diplomaták biztonságáról, és tartsa tiszteletben a rá vonatkozó nemzetközi előírásokat. A miniszter szerint az incidens összhangban van azokkal a lépésekkel, amelyek az utóbbi időben tovább fokozták a feszültséget a két ország között.

Az Oroszország második legnépesebb városában, Szentpéterváron található Avangard elektronikai üzemben tűz keletkezett több robbanást követően csütörtökre virradó éjszaka – jelentették helyi Telegram-csatornák és hivatalos források.
A közösségi médiában közzétett videófelvételeken látható, ahogy hatalmas lángok csapnak fel az üzem tetejéről a város Kalinyinszkij kerületében. Az előzetes jelentések szerint a tűz helyi idő szerint körülbelül éjjel 1 órakor kezdődött.
A szentpétervári katasztrófavédelmi minisztérium közlése szerint a tűz egy hatemeletes épület ötödik emeletén pusztít, és körülbelül 100 négyzetméteres területet érint.
Az üzem állítólag mikroelektronikai alkatrészek és mikroáramkörök gyártására szakosodott.
A tűz oka egyelőre nem ismert.
Az ukrán haderő egyelőre nem kommentálta az esetet, és nem érkeztek hivatalos jelentések a régiót célzó ukrán dróntámadásokról a tűz kitörése előtt.
Korábban Kijev már hajtott végre dróntámadásokat Szentpétervár ellen.
Az orosz védelmi minisztérium szerint légvédelmük csütörtökre virradóra összesen 48 ukrán drónt lőtt le, ebből 30-at az Ukrajnával határos Belgorodi területen. Moszkvát is dróntámadás érte csütörtök hajnalban: ott egy többszintes lakóházban tettek tárt egy drón roncsai.

Irina Volk, az orosz belügyminisztérium szóvivője elmondta, hogy az orosz belügyminisztérium szentpétervári részlegének kábítószer-kereskedelmet ellenőrző munkatársai fedezték fel a becsempészett kábítószert. A tájékoztatás szerint egy banánnal teli konténerben, amelyet egy külföldi cég szállított Ecuadorból, hatvan fehér színű porral töltött téglatest-formájú csomagot találtak. Az áru címzettje egy gyümölcs-nagykereskedő cég volt.
A nyilatkozó hozzátette: „Az igazságügyi szakértői vizsgálat megerősítette, hogy a lefoglalt anyag kokain, amelynek összsúlya meghaladja a hatvan kilogrammot”.
Az ügyben eljárás indult, a bűncselekmény elkövetésében részt vevőket jelenleg azonosítják.

Egy Szentpéterváron közlekedő, 20 utast szállító autóbusz eddig tisztázatlan okok miatt a folyóba zuhant. Az orosz belügyminisztérium sajtószolgálata három halálos áldozatról számolt be, de több sérült életveszélyes állapotban van.
Legalább hárman meghaltak és hat másik utast pedig kórházba szállítottak, miután egy busz pénteken az oroszországi Szentpéterváron két járművel ütközött, majd egy hídról a Mojka folyóba zuhant – írja az Izvesztyija című lap.
A hat sérültből négyen eszméletlenek voltak, amikor a mentő kiérkezett, két másik utast pedig válságos állapotban szállítottak kórházba. A hírügynökség szerint kilenc embert sikerült kimenteni a buszból.
A balesetről készült felvételeken jól látszik, hogy a busz szinte teljesen víz alá került a város történelmi központjában lévő híd közelében, a mentőszolgálat munkatársai pedig a jármű tetején állva kutattak túlélők után, miközben a mentőautók a hídon várakoztak.
A hatóságok által közzétett videón látható, amint a busz hirtelen kanyarodik, majd a sofőr elvesztve az irányítást nekicsapódik a busszal több autónak, majd átszakítva a korlátot a folyóba zuhan.
A RIA hírügynökség szerint a túlélők közül négy sérült állapota olyan súlyos, hogy vélhetően nem tudják megmenteni az életüket. A mintegy 20 utast szállító busz vezetőjét őrizetbe vették, akit agyrázkódással, zárt koponyasérüléssel és orrtöréssel szállították kórházba.
Délután a műszaki mentés is befejeződött, a Pocelujev-hídról Mojka folyóba zuhant autóbuszt egy daru segítségével emelték ki.
