Magabiztosan kijelenthetem, hogy ez nem az ukrán légvédelem volt – fogalmazott a The Kyiv Independent szerint.
Az ukrán vezérkar szerint ez már a 325. repülőgép lehet, amelyet Oroszország elveszít a háború kezdete óta.
Az ukrán sajtó már többször is beszámolt arról, hogy az oroszok (tévedésből) lelőhették a saját gépüket: legutóbb december 5-én mondták azt, hogy az orosz fél egy Szu–24-est lelőtt, amikor a gép éppen rakétát lőtt volna ki az Odesszai terület felé.
