Oroszország feltartóztatott egy görög tulajdonban lévő, libériai zászló alatt hajózó tankhajót a Balti-tengeren – közölte vasárnap az észt külügyminisztérium.
A tárca tájékoztatása szerint a Rotterdamba tartó hajót azt követően tartóztatták fel, hogy elhagyta Sillamae kikötőjét egy kijelölt hajózási útvonalon, amely átszeli az orosz területi vizeket. A Green Admire feltartóztatásáról értesítették a többi NATO-tagországot is.
„A mai incidens mutatja, hogy Oroszország továbbra is kiszámíthatatlanul viselkedik” – közölte Margus Tsahkna külügyi tárcavezető.
Az észt közlekedési hatóság szerint Sillamae kikötőjéből az orosz területi vizeken áthaladó tengeri hajózási útvonalat Észtország, Finnország és Oroszország megállapodása alapján határozták meg, elkerülve ezzel a sekély vizeket. A kikötőbe tartó, illetve onnan induló hajókat mostantól észt területi vizeken át fogják irányítani.
Észt becslések szerint Oroszország olajbevételeinek mintegy 60 százalékát az árnyékflottáján keresztül valósítja meg.

Armando Balilo ellentengernagy elmondta, hogy a három hajóval kiérkező egységeik olajszivárgást észleltek, ezért az olajfolt szétterjedésének megakadályozására egy vízen lebegő barikádot helyeztek el a víz felszínén.
A PCG Bataan tartományért felelős vezetője, John Encina közölte, hogy az MTKR Jason Bradley nevű hajó külön rakományt nem, csak üzemanyagot szállított az elsüllyedésekor. Hozzátette, hogy mentését hamarosan elkezdik, ami legalább egy, de akár két hétig is eltarthat.
A Fülöp-szigetek partvidékén rövid időn belül ez volt a második hajókatasztrófa: csütörtökön egy Fülöp-szigeteki zászló alatt közlekedő, 1,4 millió liter olajat szállító tartályhajó, az MT Terra Nova süllyedt el a fővárossal szemben, a Manila-öbölben fekvő Limay város közelében – írja az MTI.
Armando Balilo közölte, hogy az MT Terra Nova olajszivárgását sikerülhet késleltetniük, miután búváraik a hajó fedélzetén megkezdték a kilenc olajtartály szivárgó részeinek beazonosítását és tömítését, amit várhatóan hétfőn befejeznek.
Ha sikerrel járnak, akkor a maradék olaj kiszivattyúzása is elkezdődhet majd az elsüllyedt hajóból. Megerősítette ugyanakkor, hogy a hajóból eddig kiszabadult olaj időközben elérte a Manilai-öböl északi parti vizeit, de hangsúlyozta, hogy az eddig kiszivárgott olajmennyiség kezelésével egyelőre meg tudnak birkózni.

Dél-koreai tartályhajó szenvedett balesetet a Japán-tengeren. Egyelőre hat embert sikerült kimenteni a személyzetből.
Eltűnt öt ember, miután szerdán felborult egy vegyi anyagot szállító dél-koreai tartályhajó Japán nyugati partjainál – közölte a japán parti őrség. A hajó fedélzetéről kiadott segélyhívást helyi idő szerint reggel hét órakor fogadta a japán parti őrség. Ebben azt közölték, hogy felborult a Keoyoung Sun (Kojong Szon) nevű hajó a Jamagucsi prefektúrában található Simonoszeki városához közeli partoknál.
A fedélzeten tizenegyen tartózkodtak: két dél-koreai, nyolc indonéziai és egy kínai állampolgár. A repülőgépek és járőrhajók segítségével folytatott mentési munkálatok során közülük hatot sikerült kimenteni. A hatóságok egyelőre közölték, hogy a továbbra is keresett öt tengerész milyen állampolgárságú.
A hajó minden bizonnyal az erős hullámzás és a széllökések miatt borult föl.

Az ukrán tengeri kikötők adminisztrációja (AMPU) fémhulladékként értékesíti a Delfi tankerhajót, mely 2019-ben süllyedt el Odessza partjainál.
A hírt Olekszandr Holodnickij, az AMPU megbízott vezetője közölte. Elmondása szerint a hajó állami tulajdonba került, az eladásból befolyt összeget az AMPU veszteségeinek kompenzálására és pénzbírságok kifizetésére használják majd fel. A bíróság megítélése szerint ezek értéke közel 2,7 millió hrivnya.
Ezenkívül körülbelül 16 ezer dollár bírságot kell fizetni azért, mert olaj és szennyező anyagok kerültek a tengerbe a hajóról.

Iráni jelentések szerint egy dél-koreai tankerhajót tartóztatott fel a Forradalmi Gárda a Hormuzi-szorosnál a szennyezési szabályok megsértése miatt – írta meg a HVG az Euronews híre alapján. A portál információi szerint azonban a hajó legénysége határozottan tagadja, hogy a hajóból szennyező anyagok szivároghattak volna a tengerbe.
Az iráni kormányszóvivő azonban mást állít. Ali Rabiei szerint a hajó olajszennyezést okozott a Perzsa-öbölben, emiatt fogták el és figyelmeztették a legénységet. A tartályhajó dél-koreai tulajdonosa szerint azonban Irán bármiféle jogalap nélkül fogta el a tankert. Dél-Koreából a legénység és a hajó kiszabadítására tárgyaló delegáció indult. A hajó legénységében szolgálnak dél-koreai, vietnámi, mianmari és indonéz tagok is a BBC tudósítása szerint.
Az elmúlt hónapokban Dél-Korea és Irán viszonya kiéleződött a Donald Trump által bevezetett, Iránt érintő szankciók miatt. Ezen szankciók értelmében ugyanis a dél-koreai bankok több iráni számlát is befagyasztottak.
