„A gyűlöletkeltésre és a helyzet destabilizálására irányuló bűncselekményekre az állam keményen reagál.
Arról az esetről van szó, amely idén júliusban történt Palágykomorócon. A településen felgyújtották a görögkatolikus templomot, és provokatív feliratot hagytak a falon.
Tegnap az ügyben őrizetbe vett személlyel szemben vádiratot nyújtottak be a bíróságra.
A bűncselekményt a rendőrség, az SZBU és az ügyészség összehangolt munkájának köszönhetően sikerült felderíteni. Hangsúlyozom: minden kísérletet, amely nemzetiségi vagy vallási gyűlölet szítására irányul megyénkben, szigorúan meg fogunk akadályozni. Kárpátalja mindig is a béke, az együttélés és a kölcsönös tisztelet földje volt és marad” – írta Miroszlav Bileckij, a megyei katonai adminisztráció vezetője.

A 31 éves férfi vasárnap délelőtt 11 óra után érkezett a wayne-i templomhoz. Taktikai mellényt viselt, automata gépkarabélya és pisztolya is volt, amelyekkel a templom épületéhez közel nyitott tüzet.
Két templomi alkalmazott azonnal visszalőtt, aminek következtében a támadó életét vesztette, eközben egy templomba járó férfi is elütötte a támadót az autójával, miközben a támadó többször rálőtt a járműre. A támadás során egy biztonsági őr két lövést kapott a lábába, de az ABC News információi szerint állapota stabil.

Legalább húsz áldozata van egy öngyilkos merénylő robbantásának egy damaszkuszi templomban – közölték a szíriai egészségügyi hatóságok és biztonsági források.

Egy névtelenséget kérő biztonsági forrás szerint két támadó volt, akik egyike volt a robbantó is.
Hamza al-Musztafa távközlési miniszter a terrorcselekmény kapcsán kijelentette, hogy az egy „gyáva cselekedet, amely ellentmond az állampolgári értékeknek, amelyek mindannyiunkat egyesítenek”. Hozzátette, hogy az állam minden tőle telhetőt elkövet „a bűnszervezetek elleni harcban”.

A szerda reggeli tragédia során legkevesebb nyolcan életüket vesztették – számolt be a Liner.hu.
A jelentések szerint nyolc ember elhunyt, többen pedig megsérültek, amikor egy újonnan épült fal összeomlott egy indiai templomban. Egy 6 méter hosszú falszakasz omlott össze, mely többeket maga alá temetett.
Narendra Modi, India miniszterelnöke is részvétét fejezte ki a történtek miatt. Emellett bejelentette, anyagi segítséget nyújt az indiai kormány a falomlásban életüket vesztettek családjainak, illetve a sérülteknek. Kiderült, hogy az összeomlott falat mindössze 20 nappal ezelőtt húzták fel.
A katasztrófavédelmi erők azonnal a helyszínre siettek, és megkezdték a mentési műveletet. Több hívőt is ki tudtak szabadítani a romok fogságából, de nyolc ember életét már nem lehetett megmenteni, olyan súlyosak voltak a sérüléseik.
Az előzetes vizsgálatok szerint a területre hirtelen beáramló vízmennyiség és a heves szél okozhatta a tragédiát, mialatt fellazult a talaj – írja az NDTV.

A görögországi Iraklionban, Kréta szigetén a hatóságok három tinédzsert tartóztattak le, akiket azzal gyanúsítanak, hogy húsvét előtt robbantásokat próbáltak elkövetni. Az esetről a görög ERT számolt be.
A letartóztatottak két testvér, akik 16 és 17,5 évesek, és egy 18 éves barátjuk. A rendőrség információi szerint a fiatalok házilag készített, gyújtófolyadékkal töltött palackokat és petárdákat szerettek volna robbantani egy templom közelében.
A tinédzsereket ellenőrzés céljából állították meg, miközben autóval tartottak — valószínűleg arra a helyszínre, ahol a robbantást akarták elkövetni. Az autóban a hatóságok nyolc palackot találtak, amelyek műanyag vizes palackokból készültek, benzinnel töltve. Minden palackhoz nagy petárdákat erősítettek, ragasztószalaggal rögzítve. Emellett a fiataloknál 22 különféle típusú petárdát találtak.
A rendőrség robbanóanyagokkal, tűzijátékokkal és petárdákkal kapcsolatos törvénysértéssel vádolja a letartóztatottakat.
Emellett letartóztatták a két kiskorú fiú apját, aki 44 éves. A férfit a gyerekek felügyeletének elmulasztásával vádolják. A nyomozás folyamatban van.

Több templomban tűz ütött ki szombatra virradóra Új-Zélandon, a rendőrség szerint szándékos gyújtogatás lehet a háttérben – jelentette a Kathpress katolikus hírügynökség.
Négy templom épülete gyulladt ki az éjszaka folyamán Masterton városban, Wellingtontól északra, három további templomban pedig reggel arra utaló jeleket találtak, hogy ott is gyújtogatni próbáltak – adta hírül az MTI.
Helyi sajtójelentések szerint különböző felekezetek templomai érintettek: egy katolikus, egy anglikán, egy baptista és egy szabadegyházi templom gyulladt ki, az épületek egy-egy részén súlyos károk keletkeztek.
Lehetséges elkövetőkről egyelőre nincsenek információk.
Nem ez az első alkalom, hogy vallási épületek esnek gyújtogatás áldozatául Új-Zélendon. Aucklandben 2023 novemberében egy metodista templomban egy éjszaka kétszer is tüzet gyújtottak, tavaly novemberben pedig egy mecsetet ért hasonló támadás.

Legalább két ember meghalt Brazíliában, miután a tengerparti Recife városában pénteken beomlott egy templom és menedékház teteje – közölte a városháza és az állami hatóságok a Reuters beszámolója szerint.
Pernambuco állam alkormányzója, Priscila Krause elmondta, hogy mintegy 20 ember kapott orvosi segítséget az omlás után,
hozzátéve, hogy a hatóságok szerint nem lesz több halálos áldozata a balesetnek, de ezért átkutatják a romokat. Az összeomlás idején a templomban élelmiszerosztás zajlott, tette hozzá.
