Szerda reggel a tádzsik hatóságok bejelentették, hogy terrorellenes műveletet indítanak az Afganisztánnal határos Hegyi-Badahsán autonóm régióban, miközben az elmúlt hónapokban egyre nagyobb feszültségek alakultak ki a régió egyik vezetőjével – számolt be az MTI.
Az akció során egy katona meghalt, 13 másik pedig megsebesült, amikor gyújtópalackot dobtak a tádzsikisztáni biztonságiak gépjárműoszlopára. A támadó fegyveres csoport nyolc tagja életét vesztette, 11-en pedig megsebesültek. A minisztérium szerint a terroristacsoport több mint 70 tagját őrizetbe vették.
