Ismét életveszélyes őrület jelent meg a TikTokon, amely majdnem egy 12 éves fiú életébe került. Egy négygyermekes anya éppen egyik gyermekét szoptatta, amikor hatalmas zajt hallott a földszintről. A fia eszméletlenül feküdt a padlón, miután kipróbálta a TikTok új trendjét: dezodort lélegzett be, ami rohamot és szívleállást eredményezett nála.
A gyermeket azonnal újra kellett éleszteni, majd két napig mesterséges kómában tartották. A fiú édesanyja egy kórházi fotót is megosztott, hogy felhívja a figyelmet a veszélyekre. A fiú szíve többször is leállt.
„Hallottam, hogy a fiam lemegy a földszintre, azt hittem, enni megy. Azután egy nagy puffanást és nyögést hallottam, azt hittem, eltört valamije. Amikor lementem, láttam, hogy Cesar a földön fekszik, és a szemei fennakadtak. Rémisztő volt. Felszaladtam a telefonomért, de annyira remegett a kezem, hogy nem tudtam mentőt hívni, végül a legidősebb gyermekem kért segítséget” – emlékezett vissza az anya a történtekre.
Míg a mentők úton voltak, az anya megkezdte az újraélesztést. A gyermek szíve többször is megállt, ezért az orvosok mesterséges kómába helyezték.
A rendőrségi vizsgálat gyorsan kiderítette, hogy a 12 éves fiú szívleállását egy izzadásgátló spray belélegzése okozta, amelyet egy barátja tanácsára próbált ki a TikTokon terjedő „krómozás” nevű kihívás részeként.
A „krómozás” során mérgező vegyi anyagokat – mint például festék, oldószer, tisztítószerek, benzin vagy aeroszolos sprayk – lélegeznek be. Ezek az anyagok gyorsan bejutnak a véráramba és eufóriát, szédülést, beszédzavart, hallucinációkat vagy hányingert okozhatnak.
Súlyos esetekben szívrohamot vagy fulladást is előidézhetnek, illetve függőséget is okozhat.
A fiú családja a tragédia után arra szólította fel a TikTokot, hogy tegyen többet a felhasználók biztonsága érdekében, hogy más gyerekek ne haljanak meg emiatt ‒ számolt be róla a Magyar Nemzet.
„Valójában azt akarjuk elérni, hogy a TikTok megszűnjön, és egyetlen 16 éven aluli gyermek se léphessen be a közösségi médiába. Össze vagyunk törve, de szeretnénk segíteni más gyerekek életének megmentésében, és felhívni a családok figyelmét arra, hogy gyermekeik biztonsága milyen kevésen is múlhat” ‒ írja a család.

Holtan találta édesanyja a 14 éves Leon Brownt a szobájában. A nő először nem tudta, mi történt a skót fiúval, később azonban kiderült, hogy ő is részt vett a fiatalok körében elterjedt, halálos kihívásban – írja a New York Post.
Mi is az áramszünet kihívás és miért rettentően veszélyes?
A „blackout challenge” kihívást jelent a felhasználók számára, hogy lássák, mennyi ideig bírják lélegzet-visszafojtva. Ez alacsony oxigénszintet okozhat az agyban, ami görcsrohamokhoz, súlyos sérülésekhez vagy halálhoz vezethet. Egy olasz kislány pár éve azért vesztette életét, mert egy övet kötött a nyaka köré a kihívás részeként. Tavaly terjedt a TikTokon egy önfojtogató kihívás, az úgynevezett „blackout challenge”, amelyben egy nyolc- és egy kilencéves kislány is életét vesztette – az áldozatok szülei kedden perelték be a céget, mert szerintük a gyermekek halálát az alkalmazás algoritmusa okozta.
A Social Media Victims Law Center egy jogi szervezet a közösségi média káros hatásaitól szenvedő gyerekeknek és azok családjának – ez a szervezet képviseli a két kislány szüleit is, akik azt állítják, hogy a platform szándékosan ugyanazokról a kihívásokról mutatott videót a gyerekeknek, arra ösztönözve őket, hogy próbálják ki. A produkció lényege, hogy a gyerekek piercinget imitálnak, például a nyelvük alá és fölé helyeznek egy-egy mágneses kis golyót, azok jobb esetben vonzzák egymást, rosszabb esetben meg nem, és a kísérletező kedvű gyerek lenyeli őket.
Utóbbi történt a brit kislánnyal is, akit a cikk nem nevez meg. A gyerek hasa egy idő után elkezdett fájni, hányt is, bár az édesanyjának nem merte először elmondani, mit csinált. A kórházban a röntgen 10 golyót mutatott ki a lány hasában, a sürgősségi műtét során pedig 15-öt találtak benne, ami részben a kamasz vakbelében állt meg.
A kislány hasán most egy 15 centiméteres műtéti seb van, fájdalmai is vannak, de túlélte. Még egy hétig kórházban marad.
