Ketten meghaltak és több mint ötszázan megsérültek Tajvanon a Kong-rej tájfun csütörtöki pusztítása miatt − közölték pénteken a tajvani hatóságok.






A trópusi ciklon csütörtök délután csapott le Tajvan hegyvidéki, gyéren lakott keleti partvidékére, majd elérte a sziget közepét, és végül továbbhaladt észak felé, a Tajvani-szoros irányába. Ez volt az elmúlt 30 év legnagyobb kiterjedésű vihara, amely miatt lezárták a pénzügyi piacokat, valamint járatok százait törölték a légi és a vasúti közlekedésben.



A tájfun tombolása alatt 120 centiméter csapadék hullott a kelet-tajvani hegyvidéki térségben, és csütörtök éjjel az óránkénti 130 kilométeres sebességet is meghaladó széllökések érték el Tajpej térségét.









Pénteken megkezdődött a vihar okozta károk feltakarítása. Szerte a szigeten több mint 2 ezer fa dőlt ki. A Taroko nemzeti parkból két cseh kirándulót helikopterrel mentettek ki a hatóságok. Számos légi járatot pénteken is töröltek, de a szigetet észak–déli irányban átszelő gyorsvasút vonalán már helyreállt a közlekedés.



A Kong-rej a legújabb előrejelzések szerint várhatóan nem éri el Kína partjait, hanem gyorsan visszatér a nyílt tengerre, és Japán irányába halad tovább.

A Trami trópusi vihar csütörtökön súlyos katasztrófahelyzetet idézett elő a Fülöp-szigeteken, és a helyi hatóságok közlése szerint a halálos áldozatok száma 26-ra emelkedett.






Az északi Isabela tartományban a helyenként 160 kilométer/órás széllel érkező vihar csak csütörtök hajnalban hét emberéletet követelt, heten eltűntek.



A vihar már közeledtekor áradásokat és szélkárokat okozott, helyiek tízezreit kellett kitelepíteni miatta, és már szerdáig 14 halálos áldozata volt. Az iskolákat csütörtökön is – már második napja – zárva tartották, és a hivatali munkát is minimálisra korlátozták az érintett térségben. A katasztrófa közel egymillió embert érintett.



A hatóságok közölték, hogy az áldozatok számának növekedésére számítanak, mert az árvíz több települést teljesen elszigetelt, utakat tett járhatatlanná, és így a mentési munkálatokat is jelentősen megnehezítette. A mentéshez a hadsereget is segítségül hívták.

Újabb trópusi vihar formálódott a Mexikói-öbölben, amit Miltonnak keresztelt el az amerikai Nemzeti Hurrikánközpont (National Hurricane Center – NHC). A vihar Florida felé tart, az előrejelzések szerint útközben hurrikánná is erősödhet, mire jövő hét szerda-csütörtök magasságában eléri az állam partjait.



Az újabb vihar alig több mint egy hét után követi a Helene nevű hurrikánt, amely hatalmas pusztítást végzett az USA délkeleti részén, több mint 200 ember halálát okozva, de a hatóságok még mindig százakat keresnek.



Joe Biden amerikai elnök, aki csütörtökön a levegőből vette szemügyre a floridai pusztítást, több milliárd dollárra becsülte a károkat. S,ok település máig áramszolgáltatás és vezetékes ivóvíz nélkül van, több megközelíthetetlen.



Az NHC prognózisa alapján a Milton vasárnap éjjel halad át a Mexikói-öböl délnyugati részén, majd folytatja útján északkeleti irányban, és várhatóan a hét közepén éri el Floridát. Már vasárnapra és hétfőre is jelentős csapadékot jósolnak, szerdára érkezhet még több eső és heves szél. Az NHC arra kérte a térségben élőket, hogy figyeljék a helyi hatóságok tanácsaid és rendszeresen ellenőrizzék az előrejelzéseket, jelentette a CBS News.

Legalább tizennégy ember életét vesztette áradásokban és földcsuszamlásokban a Fülöp-szigetek keleti részére lecsapó trópusi vihar következtében, a fővárosban felfüggesztették az oktatást és a kormányzati munkát, a vihar miatt egymásnak ütközött két hajó egy fővárosi kikötőben − közölték az illetékes hatóságok hétfőn.
Az MTI híradása szerint a Yagi trópusi vihar helyi idő szerint hétfő délután csapott le az északkeleti Aurora tartomány Casiguran nevű tengerparti városára. A vihar partot érés után tovább erősödött, és a meteorológiai hivatal szerint elérte az óránkénti 85 kilométeres sebességet, óránként 105 kilométeres sebességet is meghaladó széllökésekkel.



A fővárostól nyugatra található Rizal tartományban két kis hegyvidéki kunyhót sodort el a földcsuszamlás. A sárlavina három ember, köztük egy terhes nő halálát okozta, négy másik falubéli egy megáradt patakban fulladt meg − közölte a katasztrófavédelem.



További négy ember halt meg földcsuszamlásokban Cebú városában, illetve Észak-Sámar tartományban. A keleti Naga városában egy ember áramütésben halt meg, ketten pedig a vízbe fulladtak.



A vihar miatt riasztást adtak ki az ország legnépesebb tartományának, Luzón területének nagy részére − ideértve Manilát is, ahol a hatóságok felfüggesztették az összes oktatási intézmény működését, illetve a legtöbb kormányzati intézményben folyó munkát.



A hatóságok leállították a tengeri közlekedést a vihar által érintett kikötőkben, amelynek következtében több mint háromezer kompra váró utas és rakodómunkás rekedt a parton. A viharos időjárás miatt több belföldi repülőjáratot is felfüggesztettek.



A főváros térségében található Navotas kikötőjében horgonyzó MV Kamilla kiképzőhajónak nekiment egy, a kikötőből kiforduló másik hajó, amelyet a hullámok térítettek el. Az MV Kamilla hajóhídja megsérült, a fedélzeten tűz ütött ki, az ott tartózkodó 18 tiszt és a legénység elmenekült a hajóról, és egy arra járó vontatóhajón jutott ki a partra − közölte a parti őrség.

Az AP jelentése szerint Mexikó már javában készül arra, hogy egyszerre csap le az országra a Lidia és a Max trópusi vihar, melyek az előrejelzések szerint valamikor hétfőn és kedden érik el az ország különböző részein a szárazföldet.



A Max már most trópusi viharrá erősödött, s várhatóan hétfő este, Zihuatanejo üdülővárostól keletre ér partot, körülbelül 90 kilométer/órás széllel. Eközben a Lidia Mexikó nyugati csendes-óceáni partjainál északabbra erősödött meg, s várhatóan hurrikánként ér partot Puerto Vallarta üdülőhelytől északra.



Az előrejelzések szerint a Lidia egy alig lakott területen ér majd partot, noha a partszakaszra várhatóan 160 kilométer/órás sebességgel fog megérkezni, majd közvetlenül az Islas Marias-szigeteken lévő, a haditengerészet által működtetett természetoktatási központ felett halad el.



Mivel a térségben található szigeteken szinte mindig rossz az idő, többnyire lakatlanok is, így vélhetően nem fog komolyabb károkat okozni a vihar. Ugyanakkor az amerikai Nemzeti Hurrikánközpont és a mexikói hatóságok is figyelmeztettek arra, hogy a két vihar miatt hirtelen áradások is kialakulhatnak.

A Tijuana mexikói várossal határos amerikai San Diegóban veszélyes árvizekre készülnek.



Az amerikai haditengerészet közölte, hogy a hajók és a tengeralattjárók a vihar érkezése előtt kihajóznak a San Diegó-i kikötőből a tengerre.



Helyi idő szerint vasárnap délután tornádók is keletkezhetnek Colorado állam egyes részein, illetve a Mojave-sivatagban.



Az amerikai katasztrófa-elhárítási hivatal csapatokat küldött azokba a térségekben, ahol a Hilary várhatóan elhalad.



Nancy Ward, Kalifornia kormányzójának katasztrófa-elhárítási hivatalának igazgatója szerint a Hilary az elmúlt tíz évben az Egyesült Államokat ért egyik legsúlyosabb vihar lehet.



Joe Biden amerikai elnököt, aki a családjával a Kalifornia és Nevada határán lévő Tahoe-tónál nyaral, szombaton tájékoztatták a viharral kapcsolatos előkészületekről – közölte a Fehér Ház.



A mexikói Alsó-Kalifornián elhaladva a Hilary és a szélvihart kísérő özönvízszerű esőzés egy ember halálát okozta és több létesítményt megrongált. Az áldozat autóját a hirtelen megemelkedett esővíz sodorta el – közölte a mexikói polgári védelem, amely esetleges fölcsuszamlásokra és eltorlaszolt utakra figyelmeztetett Alsó-Kaliforniában.



A Hilary az évszak első trópusi vihara, amely partot ér a Csendes-óceán partvidékén.



Alsó-Kalifornia állam – ahol Tijuana található – kormányzata ideiglenes menedékeket nyitott meg.



A mexikói kormány közel 19 ezer katonát küldött a vihar által leginkább sújtott államokba, az áramszolgálató 800 fős személyzettel és több száz járművel készül az esetleges áramkimaradások elhárítására.

A Lisa nevű trópusi vihar özönvízzel csaphat le Közép-Amerikára, de földcsuszamlásokra, illetve erős széllökésekre is számíthatnak a lakosok.







A Lisa névre keresztelt trópusi vihar az előrejelzések szerint keddről szerdára fokozatosan 1-es erősségű hurrikánná erősödik, és rengeteg esővel érheti el Belize partjait, illetve a mexikói Yucatán-félszigetet, Hondurast, Guatemalát és El Salvadort – írja a The Washington Post.



A Lisa a 2022-es atlanti-óceáni hurrikánszezon tizenkettedik nevesített vihara. Elsősorban özönvizet visz magával az érintett területekre, mindössze pár nap leforgása alatt többfelé eshet belőle 150-200, helyenként akár 250 milliméter eső is. Ezeken a tájakon árvizekre, földcsuszamlásokra és erős széllökésekre számíthatnak a lakosok.



Legutóbb a Fiona és az Ian hurrikán is lecsapott a térségben. Az Ian Floridában hatalmas pusztítást végzett, de Kubában is jelentős károkat okozott.

Többen meghaltak egy trópusi vihar miatti áradásokban és földcsuszamlásokban a Fülöp-szigetek déli részén – közölték helyi tisztségviselők pénteken.



A halálesetek a Maguindanao tartománybeli Datu Odin Sinsuat és Datu Blah Sinsuat városában történtek – mondta el egy illetékes, Nasrullah Imam. A térség 975 kilométerre található a Fülöp-szigetek fővárosától, Manilától.



Az áldozatok többsége villámárvizekben, valamint a házakat elöntő sárlavinában lelte halálát – pontosított a tisztségviselő.






Több embert eltűntként tartanak nyilván.



Imam tizenhárom halálos áldozatról számolt be, míg a helyi kormányzat egyik magas rangú tisztségviselője, Naguib Sinarimbo harmincegy halottról beszélt. Sinarimbo elmondta: az áldozatok száma tovább emelkedhet.



A térségben készített és a közösségi médiában megjelent fotókon és felvételeken a háztetőkig ér a sáros, hömpölygő ár.






A helyi meteorológiai szolgálat közölte, hogy a Nalgae trópusi vihar miatt még a hétvégén is heves esőzésekre lehet számítani a Fülöp-szigetek nyugati részén. A mindenszentek ünnepének közeledtével sokan terveznek utazást a hétvégére.



A Nalgae 90 kilométer per órás széllökésekkel csapott le a délkelet-ázsiai országra, és óránként 25 kilométeres sebességgel halad nyugat-északnyugati irányba.
