Fehéroroszország harckocsikat vezényelt vasárnap az ukrán határhoz, miután a fehérorosz hatóságok állítása szerint az előző nap az ország légterében több ukrán drónt is lelőttek – közölte a minszki védelmi minisztérium. A hivatalos tájékoztatás szerint az alakulatokat készültségbe helyezték további parancsok végrehajtására.
Nem sokkal korábban Aljakszandr Lukasenka fehérorosz vezető elrendelte Homel és Mazir térségének megerősítését az ország délkeleti részén. A csapatok feladata reagálni az esetleges ukrán „provokációkra”.
Lukasenka szombaton arról számolt be, hogy több ukrán drónt is lelőttek. Mint mondta, teljes készültségbe helyezték a fehérorosz légvédelmet is, mert mintegy tíz repülőeszköz hatolt be Ukrajna felől az ország légterébe Kaszcjukovicsi térségében.
A minszki külügyminisztérium a történteket arra irányuló veszélyes kísérletnek nevezte, hogy belerángassák a konfliktusba Fehéroroszországot is. A tárca leszögezte: Fehéroroszország élni fog önvédelemhez való jogával és megfelelő választ fog adni minden provokációra, illetve ellenséges cselekményre.
Viktar Hrenyin fehérorosz védelmi miniszter már szombaton jelezte, hogy elrendelték Iszkander típusú ballisztikus rakéták és Polonez típusú rakétavetők térségbe küldését is.
Augusztus 29-én éjszaka tankelhárító aknákat robbantott fel egy villámcsapás az ukrán–fehérorosz határon. A robbanások megrongálták a vasúti pályát, számolt be először a Belaruszki Gajun csatorna.
A jelentés szerint a detonáció a Zsitomir régió Ovrutszkij körzetének területén történt, 800 méterre a Gomel régióban található Szlovecsno fehérorosz ellenőrzőponttól.
Ezt követően Andrij Demcsenko, Ukrajna Állami Határőr Szolgálatának szóvivője a Ragyio. Szvobodának adott kommentárjában megerősítette az incidenssel kapcsolatos információkat. Megjegyezte, hogy a robbanásoknak nincs áldozata.
„Külön szeretném hozzátenni, hogy a határon, különösen a határvonal közelében korlátozzák az állampolgárok mozgását. Ezért Ukrajna biztonsága szempontjából fontos aknagátak csak azokat fenyegetik, akik háborús szándékkal jönnek hozzánk” – mondta Demcsenko.

Ukrajna a Nemzeti Rendőrség, a Nemzeti Gárda és a határőrség 8,5 ezer tagjával, valamint 15 helikopterrel erősíti meg Fehéroroszországgal közös határának a védelmét, az egységek már elindultak az állomáshelyükre – jelentette be Denisz Monasztirszkij belügyminiszter csütörtökön, adta hírül az rbc.ua hírportál a belügyi tárca sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Monasztirszkij jelezte, hogy az ukrán határvédelmet 3 ezer határőrrel, 3,5 ezer nemzetigárda-taggal és 2 ezer rendőrrel erősítik meg. Az ukrán–fehérorosz határon a belügyminisztérium légi ereje, közte 15 helikopter teljesít majd szolgálatot, biztosítva a csapatok mobilitását, szükség esetén azok átdobását az egyes szakaszokra – tett hozzá.
Mint hírportálunk korábban beszámolt róla, csütörtökön Voliny megyébe repült Denisz Monasztirszkij belügyminiszter Szerhij Dejneko országos határőrparancsnok, Ihor Klimenko országos rendőrfőkapitány és Jurij Lebegy helyettes nemzetigárda-főparancsnok kíséretében, hogy az ukrán-fehérorosz határon kialakult helyzetről tájékozódjon. A tárcavezető rendvédelmi kollégáival közösen cselekvési tervet dolgoz ki arra az esetre, ha a migránsok áradata megpróbálna betörni Ukrajnába.
