Határőrökre támadtak ismeretlen elkövetők az ukrán–orosz határnál Szumi megyében, két katona sérüléseket szenvedett, és a támadók elvették a szolgálati fegyvereiket – adta hírül a Levij Bereg hírportál vasárnap az Állami Határőrszolgálatra hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint az ismeretlen személyek által elkövetett támadás következtében két határőr megsérült. A támadóknak sikerült megszerezniük a katonák szolgálati fegyvereit.
Mint a közleményben olvasható, a Nemzeti Rendőrséggel közösen végzett gyors nyomozásnak köszönhetően a szolgálati fegyverek megkerültek. A határőrök támadóinak a felkutatása folytatódik. Az érintett határszakasz őrzését megerősítették.

Az orosz csapatok összevonásával párhuzamosan Ukrajna nagyszabású terrorellenes gyakorlatokat jelentett be az Oroszországgal határos területeken. A képzés április 14-én kezdődik, áll Ukrajna Biztonsági Szolgálatának honlapján közzétett közleményben.
A közlemény szerint Ukrajna Biztonsági Szolgálata több részből álló terrorellenes gyakorlatai április 14-én kezdődnek Harkiv megyében. A képzés május végéig tart, és a határ menti területekre összpontosít.
A gyakorlatokon Ukrajna Biztonsági Szolgálata, a Nemzeti Gárda, a Nemzeti Rendőrség, az Állami Határőrszolgálat, a Katonai Rendvédelmi Szolgálat és más szervek egységei vesznek részt. A gyakorlatokat a valósághoz legközelebb álló körülmények között, harci lőfegyverek, katonai felszerelések és rádióeszközök alkalmazásával tartják meg.
A Biztonsági Szolgálat figyelmeztetett, hogy egyes területeken ellenőrizni fogja a polgári közlekedést és a polgárok iratait. Ezzel kapcsolatban a helyi lakosokat arra kérik, hogy mindig legyenek náluk a személyüket azonosító okmányaik.
