A németországi Chemnitz városában egy 41 éves ukrán férfi lőtt sebet kapott, amikor egy ismeretlen személy egy lakóház ablakából tüzet nyitott az utcán tartózkodókra.
A jelentések szerint a lövedék a férfi karját találta el. A sérültet azonnal beszállították a helyi kórházba. Állapota stabil, életveszély nem áll fenn, azonban kórházi ellátásra szorul.
A helyi rendőrség közlése szerint a szemtanúk gyorsan értesítették a hatóságokat. A rendőrök azonnal lezárták a környéket, és a helyszínre különleges egységeket is riasztottak az esetleges fenyegetés miatt. A lövöldözőt egy lakásban találták meg, egy háromemeletes lakóház harmadik szintjén.
A gyanúsított egy 40 éves német állampolgár. A rendőrség tájékoztatása szerint az elfogás során nem tanúsított ellenállást.
