A kormányfő szerint az idei árvíz az elmúlt 12 évben a legnagyobb. Minderről a miniszterelnök Telegram-csatornáján írt.
Denisz Smihal miniszterelnök munkalátogatáson Ivano-Frankivszk megyében tartózkodik, ahol megvizsgálta az árvízhelyzetet, amit válságosnak értékelt. „Egyértelműen kritikus a helyzet, ez az árvíz súlyosabb, mint a 2008-as volt” – írta.
Ukrajna Katasztrófavédelmi Szolgálata szerint a havi csapadékmennyiség 70%-a esett Ivano-Frankivszki megyében, ami súlyos árvizet okozott és gátakat, hidakat pusztított el. Jelenleg több mint 200 elárasztott település van a térségben, amelyek közül 29 nem elérhető. Az árvíz súlyosan megkárosított 110 km közutat, 1850 m védőgátat és 90 hidat. 3 személy életét vesztette, egy eltűnt. A videófelvételt az árvíz sújtotta területről Denisz Smihal tette közzé. Ivano-Frankivszk sajnos nem az egyetlen megye, amelyet az időjárási viszonyok sújtanak. Jelenleg súlyos az árvízhelyzet Kárpátalján, Csernyivci és Lemberg megyékben is. A katasztrófavédelmi szolgálat munkatársai segítik az ország nyugati részén élő lakosságát, ahol erős esőzések hatására a folyók és a megemelkedett talajvíz elárasztották a közutakat és lakóházakat. Sajnos még nincs vége. Az ukrán meteorológiai központ előrejelzése szerint ma, a heves esőzések eredményeként a Prut folyó Csernyivcinél maximális vízszintje elérheti 680–730 cm-t.
Ma délután 14 órakor megkezdődött a technogén, ökológiai- és kataszrófavédelmi állami bizottság ülése, ahol megvitatják az nyugat-ukrajnai árvíz okozta következmények elhárítására nyújtandó források elosztását.
Megmenekült a család az áradó víztőlÓriási szernecséje volt annak a családnak, amely a Kárpátalján eredő Prut patak forrásához közel csodálta az áradást.
