TikTok, Контртерористичний центр Європолу (ECTC) та 11 країн провели 28 вересня спільні навчання під назвою Referral Action Day, спрямовані на боротьбу з екстремістським та насильницьким контентом в Інтернеті, йдеться у заяві Європолу, опублікованій у четвер.
TikTok, слідчі країн-учасниць і Внутрішній підрозділ Європейського Союзу з питань перенаправлення (EU IRU) мали на меті виявити матеріали, що прославляють тероризм і терористів. TikTok регулярно публікує дані про видалені матеріали у своєму щоквартальному звіті про прозорість, який засвідчує, що платформа для обміну відео проактивно видаляє 95% насильницького та екстремістського контенту.
У рамках цієї загальноприйнятої практики органи влади розслідували 2145 одиниць контенту і повідомили TikTok про те, що вони порушують умови користування послугами компанії. Серед них – джихадистські та ультраправі меми і відео, що прославляють тероризм і насильство.
Акція була ініційована IRU Іспанії та ЄС у співпраці з владою Чехії, Данії, Франції, Німеччини, Угорщини, Ірландії, Мальти, Португалії, Швеції та Великобританії. День перенаправлення є частиною співпраці між Європолом і TikTok, націленої на запобігання використанню Інтернету терористичними організаціями та загалом радикалізації в Інтернеті. Навчання «Арктичний виклик» — це військові навчання НАТО, що проводяться щодва роки. Востаннє військові Фінляндії та Швеції брали участь у них як партнери по співпраці, але з того часу Фінляндія вже стала членом альянсу, а членство Швеції, за словами держсекретаря США, – питання кількох тижнів.
Генерал ВПС Норвегії Мартін Теслі у другий день навчань говорив про те, що цього року проведуть більш масштабні військові навчання, ніж будь-коли раніше, тому що ситуація в Європі змінилася, йде війна. Тож північні держави мають продемонструвати свою єдність, що практично й відбувається на цих військових навчаннях.

Через посухи та екстремально високі температури, які цього року охопили всю Європу, в регіоні зафіксовані найбільші збитки для лісу за всю історію спостережень EFIS. Вигоріло 660 тисяч гектарів лісів.
Внаслідок великих пожеж цього року в Європі уже вигоріло 660 тисяч гектарів лісу. Це рекордний показник з 2006 року, відколи Європейська інформаційна система про лісові пожежі (EFFIS) фіксує ці дані, повідомляє у неділю, 14 серпня, агенція AFP.
За даними EFFIS, цього року пожежі вирували не лише у країнах Середземномор’я, як це переважно було раніше, а також в інших регіонах Європи. Так, найбільші лісові пожежі за останні десятиліття сталися цього літа в Словенії.
Сумні рекорди
„2022 – рекордний рік. Посухи та екстремально високі температури охопили усю Європу”б – розповів координатор EFFIS Хесус Сан-Мігель. За його словами, саме це стало причиною масштабних лісових пожежв регіоні. „Ситуація загрозлива – зараз тільки середина сезону пожеж”, – застеріг Сан-Мігель.
Найбільше лісових площ знищено пожежами в Іспанії – 225 тисяч гектарів. Суттєво постраждали також Румунія (150 тисяч гектарів) та Португалія (77 тисяч гектарів).
Пожежі тривають
Лише за останні дні великі лісові пожежі фіксували у Франції, Німеччині та Греції. В департаменті Аверон на півдні Франції через пожежу, яка спалила загалом 1 260 гектарів, цього тижня було евакуйовано кілька тисяч людей. Поліція заборонила в’їзд до більшості лісів у регіоні Нижній Рейн поблизу кордону з Німеччиною, щоб обмежити ризик виникнення пожеж, повідомляє AFP.
На півночі Німеччині лише в неділю змогли погасити лісову пожежу, яка вирувала кілька днів у національному парку Гарц на площі не менше 13 гектарів, повідомляє dpa.
Також 14 серпня частково взяли під контроль пожежу, яка вирувала кілька днів на грецькому курортному острові Тасос. Над ліквідацією осередків загоряння працюють чотири пожежні літаки, п’ять вертольотів, сотні пожежників, волонтерів, а також військові підрозділи. За даними органів цивільної оборони, цього року в Греції лісові пожежі охопили понад 13 тисяч гектарів, пише dpa.

У липні в Європі вигоріло 450 тисяч гектарів лісу. У Словенії ліс горить на північному заході країни. Для гасіння полум’я, яке поширюється з великою швидкістю, пожежники використовують літаки, оскільки наземним шляхом не можуть дістатися до осередку пожежі.
У Греції приборкати полум’я в Національному парку «Дадія» на північному сході держави намагаються близько трьох сотень пожежників. Ця територія має одну з найунікальніших екосистем у країні, де росте багато рідкісних видів рослин. Однак рослинність легко займається, тому пожежникам дуже складно працювати.
У Франції протягом останніх тижнів згоріло понад 20 тисяч гектарів лісу. Влада прогнозує тривалий і дорогий процес його відновлення. Президент Франції Еммануель Макрон назвав відновлення лісів національним проєктом і пообіцяв надати всебічну допомогу потерпілим.
Лісові пожежі в Іспанії спричинили масштабні руйнування. Село Вейга-де-Каскалья згоріло разом із довколишнім лісом. Чимало мешканців планують переїхати жити в інші частини країни.

Пориви вітру сягали 200 кілометрів на годину, повідомляє ВВС у неділю, 20 лютого.
У Нідерландах загинули чотири особи, у Польщі – теж чотири, у Великій Британії – три, у Німеччині та Бельгії – по дві, в Ірландії – одна особа. Більшість випадків загибелі людей пов’язані з падінням дерев та зірваних вітром конструкцій.
Як зазначає Euronews, ураган просувався від Ірландії до Великобританії, потім через північ Франції та країни Бенілюксу до Данії та Німеччини (там ураган отримав назву Зейнеп). Розгул стихії призвів до обриву ліній електропередач, руйнування будівель та затоплення прибережних територій.
Потужний удар стихії припав на Велику Британію, де в деяких регіонах оголошували червоний рівень небезпеки. За даними Sky News, у п’ятницю у Великій Британії 1,2 млн осіб залишилися без електрики через ураган, для 155 тисяч з них ще належить відновити подачу світла.
The Guardian у неділю повідомляє, що робота аеропортів Гатвік, Хітроу та Манчестер відновлюється. Раніше через складні погодні умови було скасовано понад 500 рейсів.

Група хакерів із Росії нещодавно намагалася проникнути до урядових мереж США та Європи.
Про це інформує старший віцепрезидент і технічний директор компанії з кібербезпеки Mandiant Чарльз Кармакал, пише CNN.
«Група скомпрометувала кілька державних структур, організацій, що займаються політичними і зовнішньополітичними питаннями, а також постачальників технологій, що забезпечують прямий або непрямий доступ до кінцевих цільових організацій в Північній Америці і Європі», – розповів Кармакал.
При цьому він відмовився назвати постачальників технологій. Інший співрозмовник видання, який побажав залишитися анонімним, вказав, що федеральні агентства США ретельно стежать за останніми діями хакерів з РФ.
«Це питання піднімалося на недавніх засіданнях Ради національної безпеки», – зазначив він.
За даними видання, мова йде про групу хакерів, які зламали в грудні 2020 року системи Міністерства фінансів США, Національного управління з телекомунікацій і інформації та інших держустанов.
Було встановлено, що зробити це їм вдалося за допомогою підробки оновлень, що випускаються компанією SolarWinds, яка виконує держконтракти в виконавчих гілках влади, збройних силах і спецслужбах. Також повідомлялося, що кіберзлочинці отримали доступ до програмного забезпечення Microsoft Office 365.
За інформацією джерел Washington Post, за кібератакою стояла хакерська група APT29 (відома як Cozy Bear), яка, ймовірно, пов’язана зі службою зовнішньої розвідки Росії. Російська сторона називала ці звинувачення «безпідставними».

Одночасно вони рекомендують звернутися до єгипетського туристичного бюро, розташованого в районі Заджуна на сході Багдада: за те, щоб потрапити до Білорусі, офіс стягує з дорослих 750 доларів, за дітей віком від 2 до 8 років бере 550 доларів, за немовлят – 220. Мігрантам, які прямують до Європи, радять також збрити бороду, бо вона вселяє страх.

Ракета Long March 5B була запущена з провінції Хайнань 29 квітня, ознаменувавши початок будівництва нової китайської космічної станції. Однак ядро величезного космічного транспортного засобу постійно наближається до нашої планети, і рано чи пізно воно десь приземлиться – або впаде у воду – але поки що неможливо точно визначити, коли і куди впадуть уламки китайської ракети-носія.
Експерти ESA підрахували, що частини 30-метрового ядра, яке в даний час рухається зі швидкістю близько 27600 км / год, можуть зіткнутися з поверхнею Землі в деяких районах Європи, – передає інформаційний портал HLN.be.
Уламки ракети, швидше за все, згорять у повітряному просторі, але практично непередбачувано, чи станеться це з кожною її частиною, – і можна лише сподіватися, що шматки, які не самознищаться, вразять у незаселені райони.
