За даними влади, Фройланіс померла від серцево-дихальної зупинки, що сталася через удар. У колумбійки лишилися син і донька, фотографіями яких вона регулярно ділилася на своїй сторінці у соцмережах.
Згідно з даними Центру з контролю та профілактики захворювань, шанси бути враженими блискавкою становлять один до мільйона, однак майже 90 відсотків жертв виживають.
У Колумбії, через географічні умови держави, чимало громадян гинуть у таких випадках. За інформацією Індустріального університету Сантандера, велика кількість гір і відкритих рівнин країни робить її схильною до електричних розрядів.
Університет заявив: „Це означає, що Колумбія є регіоном з найвищою активністю блискавок у світі, що збільшує кількість смертей і травм через це явище, особливо в сільській місцевості”.

Про це повідомляє РБК-Україна з посиланням на прес-службу Державної служби з надзвичайних ситуацій України (ДСНС) та Міністерства внутрішніх справ України (МВС).
На жаль, хлопець не вижив після події – він потонув у річці.
„Подія сталася вчора на річці Дніпро в м. Горішні Плавні. Під час тренування із греблі в байдарку потрапила блискавка. Човен перекинувся, а хлопець зник у воді.”, – розповіли у службі.
Пошуково-рятувальні роботи тривали чотири години, розповіли правоохоронці.
„До пошуків залучались поліцейські, рятувальники, муніципальна варта та громадськість”, – повідомили в МВС.
У результаті було виявлено тіло зниклого, яке доставили на берег.
За даними поліції, інцидент стався вчора близько 17:20 у затоці „Барбара” у Горішніх Плавнях Полтавської області. Група із п’яти осіб на байдарці поверталася до берега через погіршення погодних умов.
Однак під час негоди блискавка поцілила у каное, де знаходилися хлопці. Внаслідок цього підліток 2007 року народження зник у воді.
Негода збережеться у деяких районах штату Одіша ще впродовж чотирьох днів, прогнозують метеорологи.
У східному індійському штаті Одіша щонайменше 10 людей загинули і троє серйозно постраждали за останню добу внаслідок ударів блискавки під час злив. Про це повідомило Сіньхуа з посиланням на представника уряду штату у неділю, 3 вересня.
Вказано, що четверо людей загинуло в окрузі Хурда, двоє – в Болангірі, по одній особі – в Ангулі, Будху, Джагатсінгхпурі та Дхенканалі.
