У Донецькій області під час бойового завдання розбилися два українські гелікоптери Мі-8. Попередньо відомо про 6 загиблих, але ця інформація потребує уточнення.
Про це в коментарі сказав начальник прес-служби Східного угруповання військ ЗСУ Ілля Євлаш.
За його словами, трагедія сталася у Краматорському районі, але внаслідок чого не відомо. Втім, є інформація, що в цей час російський винищувач Су-35 злетів, а українські гелікоптери заходили на посадку. Це здійснюється для того, аби убезпечитися від імовірного ураження.
„Так, дійсно, сталася авіакатастрофа за участі двох гелікоптерів Мі-8. Вони перебували на бойовому завданні. Під час того, як вони виконували завдання в повітрі був ворожий винищувач Су-35”, – розповів Євлаш.
При цьому він наголосив – дані щодо кількості загиблих ще потребують уточнення.
„Але попередньо вже повідомляв начальник прес-служби 18-ї окремої бригади армійської авіації, що їх було шестеро”, – сказав Євлаш.
Він додав, що наразі слідчі встановлюють деталі й обставини того, що саме стало причиною авіакатастрофи.
„Зараз працює комісія. Що стало причиною цієї катастрофи буде відомо згодом”, – додає Євлаш.

За короткий проміжок часу в США сталися кілька аварій військових гвинтокрилів. Зокрема 27 квітня на Алясці зіштовхнулися та розбилися два гелікоптери армії США. Внаслідок авіакатастрофи троє осіб загинуло. Загалом протягом кількох тижнів розбилися чотири гвинтокрили.

В австралійському штаті Квінсленд два гелікоптери зіштовхнулися біля морського тематичного парку, в результаті чого загинули щонайменше четверо осіб, ще троє людей отримали тяжкі травми.

Інцидент стався неподалік тематичного парку Sea World на Золотому узбережжі близько 14:00 за місцевим часом, коли у парку відпочивали родини.
Виконуючий обов’язки інспектора поліції Гері Ворелл сказав, що за попередньою інформацією один із гелікоптерів під час зіткнення злітав, а інший приземлявся.

На півдні Італії в суботу розбився гелікоптер. Загинули всі пасажири літака, серед них і дитина.
Як повідомляють італійські ЗМІ, гелікоптер зник із радарів поблизу Кастельпагано-ді-Апрічена в регіоні Апулія. Після зникнення підрозділи ВПС та Сухопутної армії розпочали спільну пошукову операцію.
Згодом заступник глави регіону Апулія Раффаеле П’ємонтезе заявив, що гелікоптер знайдений, і всі, хто був на борту, загинули.
Всього в результаті аварії загинуло семеро людей, четверо з них – члени однієї сім’ї зі Словенії (за даними преси, серед них тринадцятирічна дівчинка).
Як повідомляє видання Corriere della Sera, решта троє загиблих – місцевий лікар і двоє пілотів вертольота.
Відомо, що гелікоптер здійснював щоденні рейси між містом Фоджа та островами Треміті. Наразі причиною аварії гелікоптера називають погані погодні умови.
Мер островів Пеппіно Калабрезе повідомив журналістам, що лікар, який був на борту, вирішив летіти гелікоптером в останній момент, бо не хотів сідати на пором через погані погодні умови. «Це шокувало нашу громаду. За тридцять років моєї служби нічого подібного не було», – розповів він про аварію.
