США завдали нових ударів по хуситах у Ємені, попередньо, по радіолокаційній структурі бойовиків, повідомляє CNN з посиланням на високопоставленого американського чиновника.
Зазначається, що додаткові удари, завдані в п’ятницю, 12 січня, були набагато меншими за масштабами, ніж попередні. За словами чиновника, військові США „націлилися на радар, який використовують хусити”.
За даними CNN, ВМС США використовували для нанесення ударів високоточні ракети „Томагавк”.
Раніше в п’ятницю хусити випустили щонайменше одну протикорабельну балістичну ракету по комерційному судну.
США пригрозили можливістю додаткових військових дій, якщо хусити продовжать завдавати безпілотних і ракетних ударів по комерційних суднах у Червоному морі.
Як повідомлялося 12 січня, США та їхні союзники в ніч на п’ятницю завдали понад 60 ударів по 16 цілях хуситів у Ємені, інформувало командування американських ВПС.

Сполучені Штати 30 грудня збили дві протикорабельні ракети, націлені єменськими хуситами на контейнеровоз у Червоному морі. Про це повідомило Центральне командування США у соцмережі Х.
Контейнеровоз Maersk Hangzhou повідомив, що в нього влучили ракети під час проходження через південну частину Червоного моря. Судно під прапором Сінгапура, яке належить та оперується Данією, звернулось по допомогу до двох американських есмінців – Graveley та Labon.
„Під час відповіді (військовий корабель – ред.) США Graveley збив дві протикорабельні балістичні ракети, випущені з районів, контрольованих хуситами в Ємені, у бік кораблів”, – розповіли в Центральному командуванні США.
Там додали, що після відбитої атаки контейнеровоз Maersk Hangzhou придатний до плавання, постраждалих немає.
Це вже 23-й незаконний напад хуситів на міжнародне судноплавство з 19 листопада, йдеться у дописі.

Есмінець Королівського військово-морського флоту Великої Британії «Діамант» збив у Червоному морі безпілотник єменських повстанців.
За останні кілька днів група із 20 озброєних кораблів неодноразово нападала в прилеглих водах на комерційні судна. Зокрема два з них були підпалені, але екіпаж, на щастя, не постраждав.
Слідом за данською компанією Maersk дедалі більше міжнародних судноплавних компаній дають вказівку своїм капітанам уникати Червоного моря. Обхід завдасть перевізникам збитків на мільярди доларів і може призвести до подальшого зростання інфляції.
Вашингтон заявляє, що це явна мета Ірану, оскільки тегеранський режим заохочує та оснащує ці 20 кораблів ракетами і військовими дронами. Американська дипломатія закликає військово-морські сили великих західних держав працювати разом для захисту одного з найбільш завантажених торговельних коридорів у світі.
18 грудня з території Ємену, підконтрольної повстанцям-хуситам, яких підтримує Іран, у Червоному морі обстріляли комерційне судно Swan Atlantic, яке ходить під прапором Норвегії. Про це з посиланням на представників Сполучених Штатів повідомляє Reuters.
Співрозмовники агентства зазначили, що судно, яке завантажене олією і прямує до острова Реюньйон біля Мадагаскару, зазнало нападу „кількома снарядами”.
Виконавчий директор компанії – власника судна Inventor Chemical Tankers Ойстейн Елган повідомив агентству Reuters, що внаслідок нападу пошкоджено резервуар для води, але системи судна працювали нормально.
Також, за даними агентства, після влучання в лівий борт на судні була пожежа, екіпаж із нею впорався.
Пізніше хусити взяли на себе відповідальність за атаки в Червоному морі на два судна, Swan Atlantic та MSC Clara (ходить під прапором Панами), повідомляє AFP (цитує France 24). За версією нападників, судна пов’язані з Ізраїлем.
У зв’язку із ситуацією на Близькому Сході про припинення постачання через Червоне море оголосив нафтовий гігант BP (колишній British Petroleum), пише 18 грудня The Times of Israel. У компанії пояснили, що безпека їхніх співробітників є пріоритетом.
Місцеві жителі Умані у ніч на 28 серпня викликали поліцію і не пропускали хасидів у район паломництва, де розташоване поховання цадика Нахмана. Про це овідомили на Facebook-сторінка депутата Уманської райради від „Свободи” Сергія Алєксєєва.
Місцеві жителі у соцмережах повідомляють, що конфлікт трапився біля синагоги по вулиці Лисенка в Умані, куди приїхали хасиди.
Уманчани викликали на місце події правоохоронців та вимагали, аби ті прогнали паломників. Проте поліцейські зазначили, що не можуть заборонити паломникам відвідати місце поховання цадика Нахмана.
Правоохоронці намагалися не допустити зіткнень між хасидами і місцевими жителями.
У той же час, місцеві та хасиди таки трохи почубилися. У поліції конфлікт поки не коментували.
Довідка: Рош га-Шана або ж єврейський Новий рік цьогоріч святкують з вечора 18 до 20 вересня. Щороку тисячі прочан приїжджають до могили засновника течії брацлавського хасидизму цадика Нахмана в Умань.
