Винуватець трагедії не зміг уникнути наїзду на групу учнів початкової школи, які, нічого не підозрюючи, ішли узбіччям дороги на північній околиці Басри.

Щонайменше десять людей загинуло і чотирнадцять отримало поранення в результаті вибуху придорожньої бомби і подальшого обстрілу в північній іракській провінції Діяла в четвер увечері, повідомили два місцеві джерела в органах безпеки.
За наявною інформацією, напад біля населеного пункту Амранія відбувся проти членів сім’ї місцевого депутата.
Повідомляється, що спрацювали два вибухові пристрої, в результаті чого було підірвано автомобіль з кількома пасажирами. Коли місцеві жителі поспішили на допомогу постраждалим, нападники відкрили по них вогонь.
Джерела в силових структурах не назвали можливих мотивів нападу. Силовики ввели вечірню комендантську годину в цьому районі на період розшуку нападників.
