Ізраїльсько-палестинський збройний конфлікт у секторі Газа викликає напруженість і у Нідерландах. У січні кілька груп протестувало проти Ізраїлю на площі перед будівлею Палацу миру — офіційної резиденції Міжнародного суду ООН і Постійної палати третейського суду.
А будівлю Міністерства оборони облили червоною фарбою на знак протесту проти того, що Нідерланди постачають Ізраїлю запчастини для винищувачів F-35.

Міністерство закордонних справ Великобританії заявило, що тимчасово відкликає частину співробітників свого посольства в Лівані.
Раніше відомство рекомендувало британцям не їздити до Лівану через конфлікт між сусіднім Ізраїлем і Сектором Гази, а також закликало тих, хто перебуває в країні, покинути її, допоки ще є комерційні рейси.
«На півдні Лівану, на кордоні з Ізраїлем, ведуться безперервні мінометні та артилерійські обстріли, а також авіаудари. Напруженість висока, і ситуація може раптово загостритися, вплинувши або обмеживши шляхи виїзду з Лівану», – ідеться в заяві міністерства.
У відомстві додали, що також існує ризик заворушень. Масштабні демонстрації відбулися, зокрема, перед посольствами США та Франції, очікуються подальші протести.
Через це частина співробітників посольства Великої Британії та члени їхніх сімей були тимчасово відкликані з Лівану. Водночас дипломатична установа продовжує роботу.

На адресу дипломатичного представництва Румунії в Парижі надійшов підозрілий пакет, в якому містився білий порошок. Про це стало відомо 16 грудня із повідомлення, опублікованого на сайті румунського МЗС.
«Посольство Румунії в Парижі отримало поштою нетиповий маленький конверт, в якому було кілька серветок та близько 50 г білого порошку», – повідомили у прес-службі дипвідомства.

Про це у понеділок повідомив речник МЗС України Олег Ніколенко, пише „Європейська правда”.
За його словами, цього разу були вилучені три конверти із, як вважається, очима тварин, які були адресовані посольству України в Мадриді, генеральному консульству в Барселоні та консульству в Малазі. У зв’язку зі „знахідками” розпочато слідчі дії.
„Загалом вже маємо 21 випадок погроз українським посольствам та консульствам в 12 країнах. Як вже зазначав Дмитро Кулеба, українських дипломатів не залякати і не зламати. Про це повідомив речник поліції Давід Чалупка, повідомляє „Європейська правда” з посиланням на Ceske Noviny.
Будівлю довелося покинути шістьом співробітникам. Місцеву дорогу перекрили, а сусідній дитячий садок також був евакуйований.
На місці присутні поліція, пожежна команда, швидка допомога та евакуаційний автобус. Консульство мало інформацію від міністерства закордонних справ України про те, чого слід остерігатися. Коли працівники поштового відділення сьогодні побачили пакунок з ознаками замінування, вони викликали поліцію. Вона приїхала майже миттєво, повідомив консул.
„Наш консул у Брно викликав поліцію, пакунок, який надійшов, виглядав підозріло. Поліція приїхала негайно і одразу ж почала працювати. Консульство та прилеглі будівлі були евакуйовані, очікуються результати поліцейського розслідування”, – повідомила Тетяна Окопна, речниця посольства України в Празі. За її словами, складені протоколи безпеки, яких повинні дотримуватися всі посольства. „У нас в посольстві є людина, яка за це відповідає, в консульстві в Брно за це відповідає консул, який дотримувався тих інструкцій, які були встановлені”, – сказала речниця.
У Twitter поліція повідомила, що підозрілий вантаж схожий на ті, що були перехоплені в Іспанії. „Ми перевіряємо посилку за допомогою рентгенівських променів. Ми евакуювали будівлю і найближчі околиці, включаючи дитячий садок, разом з пожежною командою”, – повідомили в поліції.
