За даними слідства, 18 березня у військовій частині проводилися штатні стрільби. Під час навчань здетонував снаряд, внаслідок чого загинуло чотири солдати.
Тіла військовослужбовців направлено до Чернігівського обласного бюро судово-медичної експертизи для проведення відповідних досліджень. ДБР відкрило кримінальну справу за ст. 414 КК України (порушення правил поводження зі зброєю).

Міністр транспорту й інфраструктури Греції Константінос Караманліс оголосив про свою відставку у зв’язку із масштабною аварією на залізниці, внаслідок якої загинули десятки людей. Про це повідомляє Ekathimerini.
«Коли трапляється щось таке жахливе, ми не можемо продовжувати поводитися так, ніби цього не було. Я багато років не займався політикою, але вважаю довіру громадян до політичної системи невід’ємною частиною нашої демократії. Це називається політична відповідальність», – зазначив Караманліс.
Як пише Reuters, більшість загиблих були студентами у віці близько 20 років. Слідчі заарештували начальника станції, який відповідав за автоматичну сигналізацію. Голова грецької профспілки залізничників Янніс Дітсас заявив, що сигналізація на місці аварії не працювала. Проте начальник станції заперечує свою причетність до аварії, пояснюючи її можливою технічною несправністю.
За словами офіційного представника уряду Янніса Ойконому, два потяги йшли назустріч один одному одним і тим же шляхом протягом багатьох кілометрів, перш ніж зіткнутися.
Представник пожежної охорони Василіс Вартакояніс сказав, що через високу температуру в одному із вагонів важко ідентифікувати тіла і сказати, скільки саме загинуло. Відтак він очікує, що 36 жертв — це ще не остаточна кількість.
Уряд Греції оголосив триденну національну жалобу.

2 січня у Броварах, що на Київщині сталася трагедія. Близько 8 години ранку на вулиці Героїв України із 7-го поверху багатоповерхівки випав малюк. Хлопчику було 3,5 років.
Про нещасний випадок повідомила начальниця служби у справах дітей Лариса Теплюк під час оперативної наради 3 січня.
Хлопчик проживав із мамою та її співмешканцем. Відомо, що мама перебувала в кімнаті, а дитина побігла на кухню. Жінка почула, як синок пересуває стільчик. Коли прибігла на кухню – було вже пізно: хлопчик відкрив вікно і випав.
Бригада „екстреної”, яка прибула на місце трагедії, намагалася дитину реанімувати, але в неї вже не було ознак дихання.
За словами Лариси Теплюк, сім’я на обліках у службах міста не перебувала.

Інцидент стався на орендованій віллі у місті Кармі-Йосеф, за 40 км від Тель-Авіва.
Дно басейну, біля якого проходило святкування, раптово провалилося, і двох людей засмоктало у величезну вирву.
34-річного чоловіка вдалося дістати одразу, він отримав невеликі травми та був госпіталізований. Тіло іншого 32-річного чоловіка знайшли лише за чотири години на глибині 13 метрів, оскільки рятувальна операція ускладнювалася можливим вторинним обвалом.
„Рівень води раптово почав знижуватись, і двох чоловіків, що були неподалік, затягло у величезну вирву”, – розповіла ізраїльському каналу 12 News одна з очевидців.
Власників вілли – 60-річне подружжя, заарештували за підозрою у заподіянні смерті через необережність.
За даними місцевих ЗМІ, басейн побудували без відповідного дозволу на ділянці, де були проблеми з інфраструктурою.

Одна дитина загинула, ще вісім отримали поранення після того, як поблизу іспанського портового міста Валенсії перекинувся повітряний замок.

Трагедія сталася на ярмарку в місті Міслата на захід від Валенсії. Кілька дітей опинилися в пастці всередині замку, коли порив вітру підняв надувну конструкцію в повітря.
Двоє дітей – 8-річна дівчинка та 4-річна дівчинка – отримали серйозні травми після того, як їх викинули з перекинутого замку.
Обидві були доставлені до університету Ла Фе та політехнічної лікарні у Валенсії. 8-річна дівчинка померла приблизно через 12 годин після того, як її госпіталізували, 4-річна дівчинка залишається в лікарні. Її стан наразі невідомий.
За словами місцевих чиновників, розслідування смертельної події триває, але попередні докази не вказують на нещасний випадок.

На півночі Чехії обірвалася кабіна підйомника, в якій перебувала людина.
Як повідомляє Sky News, унаслідок аварії на підйомнику в Чехії загинув чоловік. Глава регіонального уряду Мартін Пута підтвердив, що одна з двох кабін на канатній дорозі обірвалася в неділю вдень.
У кабіні перебував один зі співробітників канатної дороги, чоловік загинув. Подробиці аварії наразі невідомі, як і її причини.
Водночас, відомо, що у другій кабіні перебувало п’ятнадцятеро людей, з якими все гаразд.

Повідомлення про подію на залізничній станції Куп’янськ-Вузловий надійшло до Куп’янського районного відділу поліції 13 серпня близько 06:00.
Потерпілою виявилася 16-річна дівчина. Встановлено, що вона залізла на дах вагона товарного потягу, який перебував на станції. При спробі сфотографуватися дівчину вдарило електрострумом, в результаті чого її відкинуло на рейки.
Інформація зареєстрована в Єдиному обліку заяв і повідомлень, триває перевірка.

У суботу, 26 червня, у Нью-Мексико повітряна куля врізалася в лінію електропередач і спричинила смерть п’яти людей.
У західній частині найбільшого міста Нью-Мексико, Альбукерке, унаслідок зіткнення повітряної кулі з електричним проводом загинуло п’ятеро її пасажирів. Інцидент, через який 13 тисяч людей залишилися без електропостачання, стався близько 7-ї години ранку.
Кошик, що від’єднався від повітряної кулі, упав з висоти 30 метрів посеред дороги й загорівся, а верхня частина аеростата приземлилася на дах житлового будинку, повідомив NBC News.
Влада заявила, що внаслідок аварії чотири жертви загинули на місці події, а п’ятий пасажир помер у лікарні. За даними Федерального управління повітряного руху, до ліній електропередач повітряну кулю міг принести сильний вітер, адже керувати аеростатом дуже непросто, для цього потрібен значний досвід.
Один із очевидців, Джошуа Перес, знаходився неподалік, тож, коли помітив аварію, негайно поспішив на місце події ще з одним чоловіком і допоміг перекрити бак з пропаном. Джошуа повідомив KOB4 News, що люди в кошику не рухаються.
Найбільша смертельна аварія за участю повітряної кулі в США сталася в Техасі 2016 року, тоді загинуло 16 людей.
