Ізраїль у неділю, 9 лютого, розпочав виводити своєю армію з ключового коридору Нецарім у Газі у рамках угоди про припинення вогню з ХАМАС.
Про це повідомляє інформагентство Associated Press, посилаючись на ізраїльських посадовців.
За словами одного зі співрозмовників, Ізраїль погодився в рамках перемир’я вивести свої війська з коридору Нецарім, смуги землі, яка розділяє північну частину Гази з південною.
Наприкінці січня Ізраїль дозволив палестинцям проходити через Нецарім, щоб повернутися до своїх домівок на півночі Гази, яка постраждала внаслідок війни. Виведення ізраїльської Армії оборони (ЦАХАЛ) з цього коридору є частиною зобов’язань за угодою, що поступово реалізується.
У неділю були помічені автомобілі, навантажені речами, в тому числі цистернами з водою і валізами, які прямували на північ Гази дорогою, що перетинає Нецарім. Згідно з угодою, Ізраїль повинен дозволити машинам перетинати кордон без огляду військовими. Ізраїльські посадовці не повідомили, скільки військових виводиться. Наразі підрозділи ЦАХАЛу залишаються вздовж кордонів Гази з Ізраїлем і Єгиптом, і очікується, що переговори про повне виведення ізраїльських військ відбудуться на більш пізній стадії перемир’я.
Інформагентство вказує, що наразі сторони готуються розпочати переговори щодо другого етапу перемир’я. Прем’єр-міністр Ізраїлю Беньямін Нетаньягу відправив делегацію до Катару, ключового посередника в переговорах з ХАМАС, але до складу місії увійшли посадовці низького рівня, що викликало припущення, що це не призведе до прориву в питанні продовження перемир’я.
Очікується, що цього тижня ізраїльський очільник уряду скличе ключових міністрів на зустріч, присвячену другому етапу угоди, але коли саме — незрозуміло.

Армія оборони Ізраїлю (ЦАХАЛ) заявила в неділю, 7 квітня, що вивела свої війська з міста Хан-Юніс на півдні Сектора Гази, яке вважають важливою базою бойовиків палестинського радикального ісламістського угруповання ХАМАС.
„98-а дивізія завершила свою місію в Хан-Юнісі”, – йдеться в заяві ЦАХАЛу. Ізраїльські війська покинули цю частину Сектора Гази „для відновлення сил і підготовки до подальших операцій”, уточнює командування армії.

Тим часом ізраїльський експерт з питань безпеки Омер Дострі заявив, що виведення військ є суто тактичним кроком і не означає, що війна близька до завершення, пише агенція AFP.
