Минулого тижня ЗСУ взяли в полон понад 40 російських військових. Про це 3 липня повідомив Military Media Center з посиланням на заступника міністра оборони України Ганну Маляр.
Вона уточнила, що Сили оборони уразили 94 райони зосередження ворога.
„Було знищено сім пунктів управління, 22 зенітно-ракетних комплекси, п’ять станцій радіоелектронної боротьби, 44 особи взято в полон”, – уточнила замміністра.

За їхніми словами, Суеді Муркезі затримали у Херсоні у червні. Він перестав виходити на зв’язок після того, як 8 червня поїхав за бензином за кермом автомобіля Dodge Challenger із американськими номерами. За два дні друзі Муркезі помітили його на відео, поширеному сепаратистами Донбасу.
Наразі Муркезі тримають у полоні у Донецьку. 7 липня американець зв’язався з сім’єю і повідомив про те, що його звинуватили в участі у проукраїнських протестах у Херсоні. Друзі Муркезі запевняють, що він не ходив на акції протесту, а також не брав участі у бойових діях.
У Держдепі США підтвердили затримання Суеді Муркезі, проте відмовилися коментувати ситуацію.
Суеді Муркезі 35 років. Уродженець Руанді. 1994 року під час геноциду в цій країні його родина переїхала до США. Муркезі служив у американських ВПС. З 2017 року він почав часто їздити в Україну, 2020 року оселився в Херсоні. За словами його друзів, Муркезі займався криптовалютними інвестиціями.
Муркезі став третім американцем, який перебуває у полоні в окупантів. У Донецьку також утримуються двоє колишніх американських військовослужбовців 39-річний Олександр Дрюке та 27-річний Енді Хьюн, які потрапили в полон під час бою з російськими військами під Харковом. Обидва служили добровольцями в одному із регулярних підрозділів ЗСУ. У т.зв. „ДНР” їм винесли смертний вирок.

На жаль, держава не може гарантувати наразі додержання конституційних прав і свобод на окупованих територіях. Наші співвітчизники змушені виживати за законами природного відбору держави-агресора, який викорінює не лише українське, а й людську гідність. 405 громадян України, з яких 44 військовослужбовці та 30 жінок, перебувають у концтаборах та катівнях РФ та на окупованих територіях”, – заявила Денісова.
За словами уповноваженої з прав людини, імена усіх утримуваних Росією українців їй відомі.

5 січня, до Хустського відділу поліції звернувся 36-річний житель міста Хуст з заявою про те, що його ув’язнили й кілька днів утримували у своєму сараї двоє знайомих.
Правоохоронці встановили причетних – це 58-річний хустянин та його 37-річний син. Перед цим чоловіків обікрали невідомі, викравши від них бензопилу та близько 130 кг м’яса. В крадіжці хустяни запідозрили 36-річного раніше судимого місцевого жителя, який раніше допомагав їм по господарству.
Батько з сином схопили ймовірного злодія та утримували його кілька днів у своєму сараї. Сьогодні чоловік зумів звільнитися та звернувся до поліції.
За даним фактом розпочато кримінальне провадження, попередня правова кваліфікація – ч.2 ст.146 Кримінального кодексу України (незаконне позбавлення волі або викрадення людини, скоєне групою осіб). Обставини справи з’ясовують слідчі. Вирішується питання про обрання обом фігурантам справи міри запобіжного заходу.
