Унаслідок зіткнення двох поїздів в Індонезії загинули четверо членів екіпажу, від 22 до 37 осіб дістали поранення, усіх пасажирів було евакуйовано. Причина зіткнення невідома.
Зіткнення двох поїздів із сотнями пасажирів у п’ятницю в Індонезії забрало життя чотирьох людей, щонайменше 22 дістали поранення, повідомили офіційні особи, пише AFP.
Передні вагони обох поїздів були понівечені, а решта, розташовані далі, зійшли з рейок і перекинулися на ділянці дороги, що перетинає рисові поля в провінції Західна Ява.
Серед майже 500 пасажирів не було загиблих, усі чотири летальні випадки, як повідомляється, зареєстровано серед членів екіпажу поїзда.
Повідомляють про різну кількість поранених. Поліція назвала цифру 37, а залізничний оператор повідомив, що поранення отримали 22 людини.
Представник поліції Ібрагім Томпо повідомив, що всіх пасажирів евакуювали, а поранених доправили до місцевих лікарень.
Але він сказав, що об’єднана рятувальна група все ще працює над пошуком тіла одного члена бригади поїзда, який загинув унаслідок аварії.
„Одну жертву, яка, як вважають, померла, досі не можуть евакуювати, оскільки жертва була похована під вагоном”, – сказав Томпо.
Аварія між внутрішньоміським поїздом, що перевозив 287 пасажирів, і поїздом місцевого сполучення, на борту якого перебувала 191 особа, сталася о 6:03 ранку за місцевим часом недалеко від Чикаленгкі, повідомив залізничний оператор PT KAI.
Причина аварії поки що не відома.

Під час виконання ремотних робіт стіни печі для виплавки нікелю обвалилися, через що назовні витік шлак.
В Індонезії на острові Сулавесі сталася пожежа на нікелевому заводі компанії Indonesia Tsingshan Stainless Steel (ITSS). Загинули 13 робітників, ще 46 постраждали, повідомив промисловий парк Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) у неділю, 24 грудня.
Вказано, що робітники ремонтували піч для виплавки нікелю. Під час виконання робіт стіни печі обвалилися, через що назовні витік шлак. Це викликало пожежу і загибель людей.
Унаслідок інциденту загинуло дев’ять індонезійських робітників і четверо китайських. При цьому стверджується, що на об’єкті не було вибуху.
IMIP – промисловий парк, що належить китайській компанії Tsingshan та її місцевому партнеру Bintang Delapan Group, які виробляють неіржавіючу та вуглецеву сталь. ITSS є одним з орендарів індустріального парку.

Після виверження вулкана Марапі в Індонезії знайшли тіла 11 альпіністів, повідомили в понеділок у місцевій рятувальній службі. Пошуки ще 12 зниклих безвісти тимчасово припинені через небезпечні умови.
У неділю на індонезійському острові Суматра сталося виверження вулкана Марапі – стовп диму над ним сягав трьох кілометрів.
Під час виверження на горі було близько 70 туристів. На допомогу їм вирушила команда рятувальників, яка мала завдання доставити людей у безпечне місце.
У понеділок пошуково-рятувальна група знайшла на горі 11 тіл. Трьох осіб, які вижили, вдалося евакуювати з місця події, повідомляє Reuters. Команди рятувальників вивезли загалом 49 альпіністів, багато з яких зазнали опіків. Але після повторного виверження вулкана рятувальні команди тимчасово припинили пошуки.
«Продовжувати пошуки зараз надто небезпечно», – повідомила речниця рятувальної служби Джоді Хар’яван і додала, що зниклими безвісти вважаються 12 людей.
Марапі – один із найактивніших вулканів на острові Суматра. Наймасштабніше його виверження відбулося в квітні 1979 року, тоді загинуло 60 людей.
Індонезія знаходиться на так званому Тихоокеанському вогняному кільці, утвореному вздовж зіткнення континентальних плит. Тому тут дуже поширені землетруси та виверження вулканів. У країні близько 130 активних вулканів.

Про це пише Reuters з посиланням на представника рятувальної служби.
Пошуки ще 12 зниклих безвісти тимчасово призупинено з міркувань безпеки.
Рятувальники повідомили, що загалом у цьому регіоні під час недільного виверження перебувало 75 осіб. Трьох з них знайшли живими серед тіл загиблих. Сьогодні вдалося евакувати ще 49 альпіністів, багато отримали опіки.
Вулкан заввишки 2891 метр викинув попіл на висоту до 3 км. Влада підняла тривогу і заборонила жителям наближатися до кратера ближче ніж на три кілометри.
Сьогодні пошуки припинили через невелике виверження.
Марапі є одним із найактивніших вулканів на острові Суматра, його найбільш смертоносне виверження відбулося у квітні 1979 року, коли загинуло 60 людей.
Цього року вулкан викидав лаву між січнем і лютим − приблизно на 75-1000 метрів від вершини.
За даними вулканологічного агентства, Індонезія розташована на так званому “Вогняному кільці” Тихого океану та має 127 діючих вулканів.

Один турист загинув і ще троє зазнали поранень унаслідок обвалу скляного мосту в Індонезії. Чоловіки впали з 10-метрової висоти, повідомляє Daily Mail.
За даними газети, під час інциденту на пішохідному мосту перебувало 11 туристів з міста Чіласеп у Центральній Яві. Коли під потерпілими лопнуло скло, двоє впали на землю, а ще двоє встигли зачепитися за перила.
Один турист зазнав настільки серйозних травм, що помер. Інший чоловік відбувся незначними пораненнями.

Судно переправляло людей через затоку на острові Муна, приблизно за 200 кілометрів на південь від столиці Південно-Східного Сулавесі – Кендарі.

В Індії щонайменше семеро учасників індуїстського фестивалю загинуло через удар струмом, повідомляє місцева преса із посиланням на інформацію правоохоронних органів.
Інцидент стався в районі Унакоті в штаті Тріпура. В рамках заходу люди тягнули колісницю, виготовлену із заліза та прикрашену на честь індуїстського божества Джаганнатха. Під час ходи конструкція зіткнулася з високовольтним дротом і одразу загорілася. Шість людей загинуло на місці від ураження струмом, а ще одна людина – дорогою до лікарні.
Прем’єр-міністр Індії Нарендра Моді висловив співчуття рідним і пообіцяв виплатити компенсацію в розмірі по 200 тисяч рупій (2400 доларів) родинам загиблих і по 50 тисяч рупій (609 доларів) сім’ям постраждалих.
