Сьогодні у Великій Британії відбудеться найбільший в історії страйк медичних працівників: десятки тисяч медсестер і працівників швидкої допомоги вийдуть на вулицю через загострення суперечки з урядом про зарплату.
Про це повідомляє „Європейська правда” з посиланням на Reuters.
Медсестри і працівники швидкої допомоги страйкували окремо з кінця минулого року, але в понеділок страйк за участю і тих, і інших, в основному в Англії, стане найбільшим за 75-річну історію Національної служби охорони здоров’я (NHS).
Працівники охорони здоров’я вимагають підвищення заробітної плати, яке б відображало найгіршу інфляцію у Великій Британії за останні чотири десятиліття, в той час як уряд каже, що це неможливо і спричинить ще більше зростання цін, що, своєю чергою, призведе до подальшого зростання відсоткових ставок та іпотечних платежів.
Близько 500 000 працівників, багато з яких належать до державного сектору, проводять страйки з літа минулого року, що посилює тиск на прем’єр-міністра Ріші Сунака з метою врегулювання суперечок і обмеження перебоїв у роботі державних служб, таких як залізниця і школи.
NHS, яка історично є предметом гордості більшості британців, зазнає сильного тиску: мільйони пацієнтів стоять у черзі на операції, а тисячі щомісяця не можуть отримати оперативну невідкладну допомогу.
Профспілка RCN стверджує, що десятиліття низьких зарплат сприяло тому, що десятки тисяч медсестер пішли з професії – 25 000 тільки за останній рік – і гостра нестача персоналу позначилася на обслуговуванні пацієнтів.
Спочатку RCN вимагала підвищення зарплати на 5% вище інфляції, а потім заявила, що може піти назустріч уряду „на півдорозі”, але обидві сторони не змогли дійти згоди, незважаючи на кілька тижнів переговорів.
Тим часом тисячі працівників швидкої допомоги, представлені профспілками GMB і Unite, також мають намір провести страйк у понеділок у рамках суперечки про зарплату. Обидві профспілки оголосили ще кілька днів страйку.
Не всі працівники швидкої допомоги страйкуватимуть одночасно, і екстрені виклики обслуговуватимуться.
В Уельсі медсестри і деякі працівники швидкої допомоги скасували страйки, заплановані на понеділок, оскільки вони розглядають пропозиції щодо оплати праці від уряду Уельсу.

Французькі лікарі загальної практики влаштували страйк і демонстрацію в Парижі, під час якої пройшли від площі Пантеон до міністерства охорони здоров’я.
Вони вимагають подвоїти вартість консультації – з 25 до 50 євро. На їхню думку, «рівень підвищення логічний і відповідає потребам французів у сфері охорони здоров’я». Водночас це допомогло б вирішити проблему нестачі сімейних лікарів у сільських місцевостях та невеликих населених пунктах.
Минулого тижня багато лікарів загальної практики припинили роботу на заклик руху «Лікарі завтра» на початку грудня. Згідно із заявою групи, 70% клінік залишалися закритими, а за даними страхової компанії, лише кожна десята оголосила страйк.

Медперсонал вимагає зміни системи оплати праці.
У перший день страйку, четвер, вони не працювали з 08.00 до 20.00, через що було скасовано більшість прийомів у лікарів та проведення планових операцій.

Сотні журналістів та інших співробітників New York Times у четвер оголосили 24-годинний страйк. Подібного не було більше 40 років, повідомляє AP.
Приводом для страйку стало те, що контракт, який уточнює умови роботи працівників, закінчився в березні 2021 року, і з того часу профспілка не змогла дійти згоди, тому минулого тижня співробітники заявили: якщо ситуація не буде вирішена до 8 грудня, понад 1100 співробітників почнуть страйкувати. Працівники зазначили, що відмовитися від роботи, яку вони люблять, – нелегке рішення, але вони роблять це заради кращого забезпечення інформування.
Водночас речник New York Times заявив – він «розчарований», що співробітники пішли на такий «крайній» крок, коли переговори ще не завершені й не зайшли в глухий кут.
Він додав, що робота служби новин навіть за відсутності страйкуючих журналістів триватиме, зокрема із залученням міжнародних кореспондентів та співробітників, котрі не є членами профспілки.
Журналісти, які страйкують, не отримають зарплату за час припинення роботи, а профспілка закликала своїх членів попрацювати понаднормово, щоби виконати свої поточні зобов’язання до початку страйку.
Обидві сторони назвали кроком уперед відкликання компанією пропозиції пенсійної реформи. Компанія запропонувала одноразове підвищення зарплати на 5,5 відсотка, а потім на 3 відсотки протягом наступних двох років, що також є покращенням порівняно з попередньою пропозицією на 2,2 відсотка.
Водночас профспілка хоче одноразового 10-відсоткового підвищення, оскільки підвищення не було останні два роки. Основою переговорів також є можливість дистанційної роботи: досі компанія вимагала з’являтися на місці роботи три дні на тиждень.

Близько 10 тисяч поліцейських у понеділок вийшли на вулиці столиці Бельгії, щоб привернути увагу до проблеми зростання насильства проти представників правоохоронних органів, адже нещодавно загинув молодий поліцейський, інший був поранений ножем, повідомляє RTL Info, посилаючись на заяву профспілок, що стали ініціаторами акції.
Демонстрацію організували національні профспілки поліцейських, які очікують від уряду конкретних відповідей на свої проблеми. По обіді з ними зустрівся прем’єр-міністр Бельгії Александр Де Кроо, але профспілки висловили розчарування переговорами.
За словами представників профспілок, правоохоронці обурені й тим, що влада не дотримала своїх попередніх обіцянок щодо посилення відповідальності за насильство проти правоохоронців та підвищення заробітної плати. Відтак заявили про організацію подальших демонстрацій.

В Австрії загальнонаціональний страйк залізничників, які вимагають підвищення зарплати, з опівночі понеділка паралізував рух поїздів.

„З опівночі залізничний рух в Австрії зупинився на цілу добу. Причина – страйк залізничників”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
Одноденний попереджувальний страйк розпочався після того, як у неділю під час переговорів представники профспілок та роботодавців не змогли домовитися про нову колективну трудову угоду. З огляду на інфляцію в країні у розмірі 11%, залізничники вимагають підвищення заробітної плати в середньому на 12%. На переговорах їм було обіцяно підвищення на 8,4%, що не вдовольнило працівників залізничної сфери.
За даними державної залізниці ÖBB, щодня в Австрії зазвичай курсує близько 8 тис. пасажирських та вантажних поїздів різних операторів. Щоденно перевозиться близько 1 млн пасажирів. З огляду на страйк у містах країни слід очікуються серйозні транспортні проблеми. ÖBB просить пасажирів відкласти непотрібні поїздки або обрати альтернативні варіанти подорожей.
Муніципальні транспортні підприємства, такі як метрополітен у Відні, у понеділок працюють. Однак в Інсбруку та Зальцбурзі, наприклад, також є скасування рейсів.
Водночас, у понеділок в Австрії також страйкують пивовари. Як і залізничники, їхні профспілки поки що не змогли домовитися про нову колективну угоду з роботодавцями на переговорах. Крім того, в п’ятницю і суботу можливими є страйки в секторі роздрібної торгівлі, якщо переговори про нову трудову угоду не принесуть результату у вівторок.
Як відомо, за даними статистичного агентства Statistik Austria, рівень інфляції у жовтні 2022 року виріс до 11,0 %. Це – найбільший показник в історії країни.

Британська профспілка залізничників анонсувала кількаденні страйки перед Різдвом та після Нового року, протестуючи щодо оплати праці та запропонованих реформ графіку роботи.
Про це повідомляє Bloomberg, пише „Європейська правда”.
Національна спілка працівників залізничного, морського транспорту й автотранспорту повідомила, що понад 40 тисяч її членів не вийдуть на роботу 13-14, 16-17 грудня, а також 3-4 та 6-7 січня. На додачу, працівники відмовляються працювати довші зміни у святковий період з 18 грудня до 2 січня.
Страйки вплинуть на роботу оператора залізниці Network Rail та 14 компаній по всій території Британії і можуть ускладнити поїздки у святковий період.

«Працівники промисловості стають дедалі більш нетерплячими щодо махінацій з боку роботодавців», – заявив Гофманн.
Після трудового миру, який закінчився два тижні тому, було проведено низку попереджувальних страйків, демонстрацій та інших акцій. IG Metall анонсувала страйки також на наступний тиждень і заявила, що посилить тиск на роботодавців. У понеділок рада директорів профспілки проведе збори щодо подальших дій.
IG Metall, яка представляє інтереси працівників галузі металургії та електроенергетики, де зайнято приблизно 3,7 мільйона чоловік, вимагає підвищення заробітної плати на 8%. Роботодавці запропонували одноразову виплату в 3 тисячі євро та підвищення заробітної плати в розмірі, який ще не визначено.
Серед аргументів роботодавці наводять, зокрема, економічні труднощі та різке зростання цін на енергоносії.

У Парижі 10 листопада не працюють чверть ліній метрополітену і суттєво скорочена кількість транспорту на маршрутах через масштабний страйк працівників.
Як пише „Європейська правда”, про це повідомляють французькі ЗМІ, серед яких Le Figaro.
П’ять із 16 ліній метро повністю зупинені, ще дев’ять працюють лише у години пік; на автобусних маршрутах деякі повністю зупинені, а на решті курсують 2\1 від звичайної кількості автобусів, повідомив столичний транспортний оператор RATP.
Близько сотні працівників транспорту зібралися біля офісу компанії-оператора, вимагаючи підвищення заробітних плат і покращення умов праці. Серед скарг профспілок – що у машиністів метро з кожних 6 вихідних у них чотири – з робочою зміною, до чого додається дуже ранній підйом чи, навпаки, пізнє завершення робочого дня, та перебування під землею.
Пасажири, з якими ЗМІ поспілкувалися у метро, розповідають, що людей набагато менше, ніж зазвичай – з огляду на завчасне попередження про страйк багато хто, схоже, вирішив попрацювати дистанційно.
Представник RATP прокоментував, що у день страйку пасажиропотік, схоже, скоротився удвічі. Втім, електронні сервіси відстеження заторів свідчать, що на 9 ранку корки у столичному регіоні виявилися суттєво більшими, ніж зазвичай – вочевидь, частина людей, які зазвичай користувались громадським транспортом, пересіли на авто.
