Правоохоронці Іспанії вилучили понад 7,5 тонни кокаїну, захованого в партії замороженого тунця.
Наркотик прибув до порту Віго на північному заході Іспанії з Південної Америки, імовірно з Еквадору. Далі нелегальний товар транспортували 160 км вантажівками й почали розвантажувати в промисловій зоні міста Камбре.
Саме тут поліція провела оперативні дії й конфіскувала кокаїн на загальну суму близько 265 мільйонів євро. Пакунки з наркотиками були позначені різними символами залежно від того, до якого злочинного угруповання мали бути доставлені.
На місці затримали п’ятьох співробітників компанії, що приймала вантаж, але після допиту їх відпустили.
Керівника фірми, яка торгує замороженими товарами, ще розшукують. Поліція стежила за чоловіком з 2019 року, але досі не вдавалося спіймати його на гарячому, бо він добре приховував свою протиправну діяльність, використовуючи для цього значні контейнерні перевезення.
Згідно з даними поліції, за компанією-посередницею стоїть албанська злочинна мережа. Правоохоронці вважають її членів причетними до контрабанди іншої партії кокаїну, вилученої у Валенсії, на заході Іспанії.
Там було конфісковано 3,4 тонни наркотиків, захованих у чотирьох контейнерах з подвійними стінками.
Вантаж простояв у порту місяць, перш ніж хтось зголосився забрати його. Поліцейські стежили за слідом аж до складу, де й спіймали злочинців. Під час операції було затримано 15 осіб.

Правоохоронці вилучили кокаїн на 35 мільйонів доларів із судна, яке сіло на мілину біля південного узбережжя Пуерто-Ріко, повідомила місцева влада.
Дев’ятиметрове судно прямувало до Пуерто-Ріко, коли його помітили.
Затримали двох чоловіків із Домініканської Республіки та одного з Колумбії, їх звинувачують у перевезенні понад 1,5 тонни кокаїну.
Це одна з найбільших партій наркотиків, вилучених біля узбережжя Пуерто-Ріко цього року.

Затримане судно MV Matthew обшукують і проводять судово-медичну експертизу. На момент затримання судна на борту перебували 25 осіб. Поліція допитує у справі шістьох, троє з них – громадяни України.
Судно відпливло з Південної Америки зареєстроване в Панамі. Військово-морська служба стежили за ним, оскільки підозрювали, що воно перевозить наркотики, особливо після того, як корабель почав бродити навколо ірландського узбережжя.

В Ірландії поліція вилучила рекордну партію кокаїну вагою понад 2 тонни та вартістю близько €157 млн – це рекорд в історії країни.

Кокаїн було вилучено з балкера MV Matthew, захопленого під час військової операції біля узбережжя Корка, наразі він проходить обшук і судово-медичну експертизу.
25 членів екіпажу перебувають під слідством, ще троє знаходяться під вартою.
Помічник комісара Джастін Келлі сказав, що наркотики прибули від південноамериканських кокаїнових картелів. За його словами, низка організованих злочинних груп в Ірландії, Великобританії та Європі, які мають прямі зв’язки з Південною Америкою, об’єдналися, щоб отримати наркотики.
Своєю чергою командувач флоту військово-морської служби Ірландії назвав захоплення човна надзвичайно складною військовою операцією, оскільки затримання судна було ускладнене поганою погодою та спробою передбачити дії злочинних угруповань.

У пункті пропуску в Каліфорнії затримали мексиканця, який намагався провезти понад 180 кілограмів кокаїну в ящиках з огірками, повідомили правоохоронці США.
33-річний чоловік у цей час був за кермом трактора, що перевозив партію огірків.
Під час огляду вантажу прикордонники виявили 146 пакунків кокаїну. Вага наркотика становила приблизно 181 кілограм, повідомляє Fox News.
Трьома днями раніше співробітники прикордонної служби США заарештували 25-річного мексиканця, який намагався провезти наркотики до Сполучених Штатів, що були сховані теж у причепі трактора.
Тоді з контейнера вилучили майже 300 кілограмів речовини, походження якої пізніше встановили, це був рідкий метамфетамін.
Вартість обох партій вилучених наркотиків на чорному ринку становить понад 5 мільйонів доларів.

Поліція Об’єднаних Арабських Еміратів (ОАЕ) вилучила партію таблеток каптагону вагою 13 тонн, доставлених до країни контрабандним шляхом усередині частин меблів, повідомляє ВВС.
Партію вартістю понад 1 мільярд доларів поліція Дубая виявила після отримання сигналу про підозрілий на вигляд вантажний контейнер. Вскривши дерев’яні панелі та дверцята, поліцейські знайшли 86 мільйонів пігулок.
Прозваний „кокаїном для бідних”, каптагон є одним з найпопулярніших наркотиків серед молоді країн Перської затоки.
Поліція не назвала передбачуване походження нелегальної партії, але вважається, що каптагон у величезних кількостях виробляється у Сирії. У розпал громадянської війни в країні озброєні угруповання постачали бойовикам цей наркотик, що викликає сильне звикання і часто містить кофеїн, для підвищення їхньої мужності.
Вважається, що зростаюча бідність змусила багатьох простих сирійців включитися в нелегальну торгівлю каптагоном, ринок якої оцінюється в мільярди доларів. Є неофіційна інформація про те, що до виробництва та розповсюдження каптагону причетні впливові представники бізнесу та збройних сил.
За словами генерал-майора Еїда Хареба, начальника відділу поліції боротьби з наркотиками, міжнародна банда планувала переправити заховані в контейнерах наркотики через ОАЕ до іншої країни.
Він зазначив, що виявити вантаж допомогли рентгенівський апарат та поліцейські собаки.
У ході операції арештували шістьох людей.

У Польщі вилучили 440 кг південноамериканського кокаїну, вартість якого на чорному ринку становить 1,54 мільярда гривень, повідомив у четвер міністр внутрішніх справ Польщі Маріуш Камінський.

Аркадіуш Олійник, заступник директора Оперативно-слідчого відділу Прикордонної служби Польщі, повідомив журналістам, що наркотики були надзвичайно добре очищені й не містили жодних домішок.
У зв’язку з цією справою влада заарештувала 46-річного чоловіка, який, за даними прокуратури, мав організувати подальше транспортування кокаїну територією Польщі. Підозрюваного в причетності до організованої злочинної діяльності та торгівлі наркотиками було взято під варту. Йому загрожує до 15 років позбавлення волі.
