Окрім Австрії, правоохоронні органи Швейцарії та Німеччини також регулярно стикаються з «псевдотестами», які зазвичай продаються на різних веб-сайтах. Ціна підробленого результату тесту на чорному ринку становить близько 100 євро.

Внаслідок найсильнішої за останні десятиліття повені на сході Австралії близько сорока тисяч людей змушені були покинути свої будинки. Крім того, на даний момент уже відомо, що стихія забрала життя одного чоловіка, – заявила влада Австралії в середу.
Згідно з повідомленням поліції, в машині на північному заході Сіднея було знайдено труп наразі невстановленої особи. Це перший летальний випадок, пов’язаний зі стихійним лихом.
У результаті повені, спричиненої сильними дощами, будинки затоплені водою, повінь забрала із собою автомобілі та свійських тварин і відрізала цілі міста від зовнішнього світу.
Наразі понад сорок тисяч людей були змушені покинути свої будинки, а в середу влада наказала евакуювати нові райони західного Сіднею.
Однак у деяких районах великого міста прибирання та ремонтні роботи після повені вже розпочато. Через кілька днів сонце вперше засяяло і дощ ущухнув. Тим, хто потрапив у біду, їжу та інші життєво важливі предмети транспортували повітряним шляхом, за допомогою гелікоптерів. Прем’єр-міністр Австралії Скотт Моррісон заявив, що вантажні вертольоти доставлятимуть їжу до супермаркетів у постраждалих від повені районах, де запаси товарів скорочуються.
Прем’єр-міністр штату Новий Південний Уельс Гледіс Береджіклян заявила, що ситуація виявилася гіршою, ніж очікувалося спочатку.

Вода знищує будинки та інфраструктуру на південному сході материка, що викликали масові нашестя тварин — зокрема павуків, які приходять з дикої місцевості на земельні ділянки та в помешкання людей. З четверга не вщухають дощі, а в минулі вихідні прорвало одну з дамб, що призвело до розливу річок.

У штаті Новий Південний Уельс, який постраждав від паводків, евакуювали близько 18 тисяч людей. У соцмережах поширюють численні фото та відео нашестя плазунів і членистоногих та зображення затоплених територій.
За повідомленням деяких австралійців, усе коричневе, що можна побачити в затоплених регіонах, — це павуки.
Місцеві мешканці також повідомляють про змій, якими увішані дерева, і що всі сухі ділянки землі переповнені тваринами.
Павуки також збираються на парканах над водою, щоб підсохнути. Одна з користувачок TikTok зазначила, що вони можуть залізати навіть на ноги людей, щоб сховатися від води.

Соцмережі рясніють зображеннями змій у найнеочікуваніших місцях — вони ховаються за подушками, біля труб і навіть у мангалах. Мешканців закликають не чіпати плазунів, оскільки серед них можуть бути й отруйні.

Влада Австралії вже евакуювала 18 тисяч людей і планує евакуювати ще тисячі у понеділок із постраждалих від повені передмість на заході Сіднея, які зазнали збитків від найбільш масштабної повені за останні 60 років. Рясний дощ, як очікується, триватиме протягом найближчих кількох днів.
Невпинні дощі, які тривають протягом останніх трьох днів, спричинили паводки на річках у найбільш густонаселеному штаті Австралії, Новому Південному Уельсі, завдавши значних збитків та зробивши неминучою масову евакуацію населення.
«Нам потрібно зібратися із силами, цей тиждень буде дуже важким», – заявила журналістам прем’єр-міністр Нового Південного Уельсу Глейдіс Береджиклян.

17-річний хлопець десять днів тому плавав біля узбережжя мису Йорк, що на півночі Австралії, коли його тіла торкнулися щупальця кубомедузи. Хлопця після надання йому першої допомоги доставили до лікарні, але через отримані опіки, нанесені медузою, він помер.
Це перший випадок смерті через ужалення кубомедузи за останні п’ятнадцять років в Австралії.
«У наших водах водяться кубомедузи та інші види медуз, які можуть викликати синдром іруканджи, небезпечний для людини», – попереджає місцева влада. Їхня отрута при дії на людину викликає ланцюг паралітичних ефектів: сильний головний біль, болі в спині, м’язах, болі в області живота і таза, нудоту і блювоту, пітливість, неспокій, гіпертонію, тахікардію і набряк легенів. Тому без захисного одягу заходити у воду в цій зоні не рекомендується.

Австралійська поліція вже чотири місяці розшукує бізнесвумен Мелісу Каддік, яка зникла після того, як виявилося, що вона вкрала мільйони доларів у своїх клієнтів. Минулого тижня туристи виявили людську стопу біля берега, тест ДНК підтвердив, що це частина тіла зниклої жінки.
Меліса Каддік зникла з Довер-Хайтс, одного з елітних кварталів Сіднея минулого листопада, на наступний день після того, як поліція провела обшук будинку. Жінка викрала у своїх клієнтів цінних паперів на суму близько 13 мільйонів доларів. Вона ошукала більше 60 людей, включаючи власну родину та друзів, повідомляє ВВС.
