A Reuters vasárnapi jelentése szerint az amerikai haditengerészet két hajója megkezdte az áthaladást a Tajvani-szoroson. Ez az első ilyen művelet azóta, hogy Nancy Pelosi, az amerikai képviselőház elnökének tajvani látogatása miatt feszültebbé vált Kína és az Egyesült Államok közötti kapcsolat.
