 A légikikötő elestéről Mihajlo Podoljak, az Elnöki Hivatal vezetőjének tanácsadója tájékoztatta az Ukrajinszka Pravda hírportált. Elmondása szerint az ukrán fegyveres erők egységei heves harcok után elvesztették az ellenőrzést az Antonov repülőtér felett.
 Ugyancsak az Ukrajinszka Pravda számolt be az ismert Bellingcat nemzetközi újságíró szervezetre hivatkozva arról, hogy az oroszországi Pszkovból 18 darab Il-76 katonai szállító repülőgép indult Kijev felé légideszantosokkal. Ennek az egyetlen magyarázata a Bellingcat szerint az, hogy az oroszok elfoglalják az ukrán fővárost, és bábkormányt juttassanak hatalomra Ukrajnában.
 Mint hírportálunk délután beszámolt róla, Volodimir Zelenszkij elnök bejelentette, hogy az Ukrajna elleni orosz támadás során egy ellenséges deszant egység landolt a Kijevhez közeli Gosztomel repülőterén, ahol az ukrán erők blokkolták, és parancsot kaptak a megsemmisítésére.
