Az áldozat az autója hátsó ülésén volt, miután minden jel szerint egy csoport férfi egy huszonkettedik kerületi bécsi szálloda garázsában egy találkozót követően brutálisan megverték, majd az autója hátsó ülésére tuszkolták. A bécsi tartományi bűnügyi hivatal nyomozása szerint a gyilkosság nagyfokú szervezettségre és gyűlöletre utal. A férfi halálát ugyanis nem fizikai bántalmazás okozta, hanem hősokk és füstmérgezés – vagyis még életben volt, amikor a kiskertövezet szélén rágyújtották az autót.
A család Ukrajnából utazik Bécsbe, hogy hazavigyék halott fiukat. A tettesek megtalálásának érdekében a nyomozók most az áldozat szűkebb környezetét vizsgálják.

Egy 34 éves nőt öltek meg Salzburg környékén szombaton, írja a Kronen Zeitung. Az eset a maria almi Billa parkolójában történt . Az osztrák lap azt írja, a gyilkossággal a nő korábbi, harminckét éves magyar partnerét gyanúsítják. A férfi szökésben van, a hatóságok nagy erőkkel keresik.
A kezdetleges információk alapján éjfél után nem sokkal egy élelmiszerüzlet parkolójában lőtték fejbe. Az elkövető ismeretlen helyre távozott, mondta a helyi rendőrség szóvivője. Hozzáteszik: úgy tudják, a nő és a férfi tavaly hónapokig kapcsolatban élt, viszont a szakításuk után rendszeresek voltak a viták közöttük. Megjegyzik: állítólag azért találkoztak volna Maria Almban, hogy megbeszéljék a dolgokat.
Állítólag szemtanú is volt a helyszínen: a Kronen Zeitung arról ír, hogy a nőt elkísérte egy barátja azért, hogy megvédje őt, de végül a háttérben maradt.
A lap kiegészítette cikkét azzal, hogy P. Krisztiánt keresik, illetve hogy a rendőrséget a környéken élők riasztották, miután hallották a lövést.

Súlyos károk keletkeztek az Austrian Airlines egyik repülőgépében, amikor vasárnap délután jégesőben landolt a bécsi repülőtéren – számolt be a Kronen Zeitung.
A légitársaság közleménye szerint a járat Mallorcából tartott az osztrák fővárosba, és a leszálláskor egy zivatarcellába került, amely a pilóták elmondása szerint nem volt látható a radaron.
A jégeső a szélvédőket bezúzta, az Airbus A320-as gép orrát pedig szinte teljesen leszakította több más burkolóelemmel együtt, de a pilóták biztonságban le tudták tenni a gépet.
A Kronen Zeitung beszámolója szerint az incidenseben senki sem sérült meg, de több utast megráztak a történtek.

A férfi megkapaszkodott, de az ütközés erejétől a 38 éves nő és gyermeke kiesett a székből, és mintegy nyolc métert zuhantak.
Az édesanya súlyos hát-és medencesérüléseket szenvedett, de a 11 éves fiú és a férfi is megsérült a balesetben.
A családért mentőhelikopter érkezett, majd az innsbrucki kórházba vitték őket. A rendőrség nyomozást indított az ügyben.

Emberi maradványokra bukkantak az olvadó osztrák Alpokban. A férfi feltehetően 22 évvel ezelőtt vesztette életét egy gleccseren történt balesetben.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy egy hegyi vezető fedezte fel a holttestet Schlatenkees-gleccseren a kelet-tiroli Hohe Tauern Nemzeti Parkban. A maradványokat körülbelül 2900 méteres magasságban találták meg, és nyilvánvalóan már jó ideje ott voltak – tette hozzá a rendőrség.
A mentők helikopter segítségével emelték ki a maradványokat. Néhány méterrel a maradványok alatt a mentők egy hátizsákot is találtak, amelyben készpénz, bankkártya és jogosítvány volt. A rendőrség szerint a helyszínen egy 37 éves osztrák férfi szenvedett balesetet feltehetően 2001-ben. A férfinél sífutófelszerelés is volt.
A férfi személyazonosságának megerősítésére DNS-összehasonlítást végeznek.
A Schlatenkees-gleccseren korábban már volt egy hasonló lelet. A 2011-ben ott talált csontokról úgy vélték, hogy egy 1957 óta eltűnt helyi férfi csontjai.
Mivel a globális felmelegedés miatt a gleccserek egyre inkább olvadnak és visszahúzódnak, egyre több évtizeddel ezelőtt eltűnt túrázók, síelők és más emberek maradványait fedezik fel – számolt be az Origo a Sky News-ra hivatkozva.

Négy ukrán állampolgár vesztette életét Ausztria északkeleti részén egy közúti baleset következtében a hétvégén. Az áldozatok mindannyian ugyanannak a családnak a tagjai: a nagyapa és a nagymama, a 7 hónapos csecsemő és a hároméves gyermek – jelentette az Ukrinform Miroszlava Zinkevicsre, Ukrajna Ausztriai Nagykövetségének konzuljára hivatkozva.
A konzul elmondása szerint a kisbuszban összesen heten ültek, mindannyian ugyanannak a családnak a tagjai. A balesetben a nagyapa és a nagymama, valamint két kis unokájuk halt meg. Az apa a feleségével és harmadik gyermekükkel könnyebb sérüléseket szenvedtek. Most kórházban vannak, orvosi felügyelet alatt.
Ukrajna Külügyminisztériumának sajtószolgálata arról tájékoztatott, hogy a baleset valamennyi érintettje lengyelországi tartózkodási engedéllyel rendelkezett.
Az ukrán nagykövetség együttműködik az osztrák hatóságokkal a közúti baleset kivizsgálásában, és kapcsolatot tart az orvosokkal is.
Osztrák sajtóbeszámolók szerint a szörnyű baleset augusztus 12-én történt az A5-ös autópályán, az alsó-ausztriai szövetségi tartományban található Gawainstal település közelében. A lengyel rendszámú kisbusz hét utasával jobbra sodródott, áttörte a híd korlátját, és az alsó útra zuhant. A tudósítások szerint a sofőr, aki túlélte a balesetet, azt állította, hogy egy pillanatra elaludt.

Az idén már ötszáz feltételezett embercsempészt fogtak el Ausztriában – közölte az osztrák belügyminisztérium.
A tárca szerint az utóbbi években megnövekedett az őrizetbe vételek száma: 2020-ban 311, 2021-ben 441, 2022-ben pedig már eddig 500 embercsempészt kerítettek kézre.
Gerhard Karner tárcavezető ezzel összefüggésben utalt az osztrák határokon folyamatban lévő műveletre, amelynek keretében különösen a határátkelőkön, a nagy forgalmú úthálózatokon és az alapellátást biztosító szálláshelyeken tartanak ellenőrzéseket.
Gerhard Karner és Klaudia Tanner védelmi miniszer a közleményben méltatta az osztrák hadsereg és rendvédelmi erők jó együttműködését is.

Öten vesztették
életüket lavinában vasárnap a felső-ausztriai Dachstein-hegységben – közölték
osztrák rendőrségi források.
Az öt embert, akik egy Csehországból érkezett csoporthoz
tartoztak, 2800 méter magasságban sodorta el a lavina, Ramsau-am-Dachstein
településéhez közel.
A helyi rendőrség szóvivője, Kerstin Hinterecker azt mondta,
a holttesteket azonosításra Hallstatt városába szállították.
Egyelőre nem tudni, mi okozta a lavinát.
