A tűz könnyen terjedhet, és veszélyeztetheti az erdőket, a termékeny talajréteg megsemmisül, amelynek regenerálódása 5-6 évet vesz igénybe. Mindemellett elpusztulnak az állatok, hüllők és rovarok.
A száraz növényzet égetéséért 3060 és 6120 hrivnya közötti bírságot szabnak ki, amennyiben a tűz természetvédelmi területen történt – akkor a büntetés 6 120 és 12 240 hrivnya között mozog.
Ha a tűz következtében emberek vesztették életüket, akkor 2 és 5 év közötti börtönbüntetés vár az elkövetőre.
Kárpátalja több járásában is soha nem látott, hatalmas kiterjedésű bozóttűz pusztít, amely már a lakóházakat és az erdőket is fenyegeti.
„Hogy lehet valaki olyan gondatlan és felelőtlen, hogy száraz füvet gyújt fel, veszélyeztetve ezzel emberek, állatok és az egész ökoszisztéma életét? Egyetlen nap alatt 103 tűzeset 174 hektáron nem csak baleset, hanem valódi bűncselekmény a természet ellen! Azok a gyújtogatók, akik ilyen meggondolatlan és veszélyes tetteket követnek el, nemcsak a földet pusztítják el, hanem minden élőlényt halálos veszélybe sodornak” – tette közzé a Kárpátaljai Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata (DSZNSZ).

Soha nem látott bozóttüzek pusztítanak Kárpátalja-szerte gondatlanságból elkövetett gyújtogatás következtében. Egyetlen nap alatt 103 tűzesetet regisztráltak 174 hektárnyi területen, ráadásul az idei évben már több incidens történt, mint 2024-ben összesen. A katasztrófavédelem munkatársai folyamatosan növelik a tűzoltásban részt vevő tartalékos csapatok számát.
A legtöbb tűzesetet a Huszti és a Munkácsi járásban regisztrálták 27, illetve 26 esetben. Nem sokkal marad el azonban az Ungvári járás sem 21 tűzesettel, majd a Técsői és a Beregszászi járás következik 15, illetve kilenc incidenssel. A jelentések szerint a legkevesebb bozóttüzet a Rahói járásban regisztrálták, ahol öt gyújtogatás történt. A tűz háromszor közelítette meg az erdőket, ráadásul a tűzoltóknak többször is alig sikerült elhárítaniuk a veszélyt, hogy a tűz ne érje el a lakóépületeket és az infrastruktúrát.

Az elmúlt hétvégén 32 tűzesetet történt a megyében, ebből 25 nyílt területen keletkezett. A Munkácsi járásban regisztrálták a legtöbbet, ahol 8-szor kaptak jelentést a tűzoltók, a lángok mintegy 3 hektárnyi száraz füvet, bokrokat és szemetet pusztítottak el.
Általánosságban elmondható, hogy az év eleje óta 73 hektár termékeny ukrán földet „sterilizált” a tűz Kárpátalján, az ökoszisztémákban keletkezett tüzek következtében. A legtöbb esetben emberek okozták a tüzet.
„Kedves lakosok, ideje felhagyni a szovjet „szokásokkal”, miszerint tűz segítségével kell megszabadulni a felesleges dolgoktól, és elkezdeni óvni a Szülőföldet és annak gazdagságát” – írta a Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálata.

Ezek az év eleje óta tartó értelmetlen avarégetés következményei. Egyes tulajdonosok meggondolatlanul égetik a száraz füvet, a bozótot és a szemetet. Valóban nem érdekli önöket, hogy állatok és a madarak pusztulnak el, elégnek a lerakott tojásaik?” – írta a DSZNSZ.
A környezetvédők felhívják a figyelmet, 5-6 év kell ahhoz, hogy helyreálljon a mikroflóra a tűz helyén.
