A 35 éves banki dolgozó ellen vádat emeltek, aki elhunyt ügyfelek számláiról a saját számláira utalt pénzt – közölte a Kijevi Városi Ügyészség.
A nő egy fővárosi kereskedelmi bankban prémium banki szakértőként dolgozott. A nyomozás szerint 2020 és 2021 között a gyanúsított hozzáfért az ügyfelek fiókjaihoz, és megváltoztatta a számlákhoz kapcsolt telefonszámokat, hogy azok az ő ellenőrzése alatt álljanak. Ezután az elhunyt ügyfelek számláiról átutalásokat hajtott végre saját számláira.
A hat dokumentált eset során a nő 10–20 ezer hrivnyás részletekben utalta át a pénzt, így sikerült elkerülnie, hogy felhívja magára a figyelmet.
A gyanúsított az elmúlt öt évben öt különböző bankban dolgozott. A nyomozás jelenleg is folyamatban van, és vizsgálják, hogy a nő más ügyfelek számláival kapcsolatban is követett-e el hasonló csalásokat.

Holtan találták meg egy arizonai bank alkalmazottját irodafülkéjében. Az eset miatt a cég belső vizsgálatot indított, a rendőrség szerint bűncselekmény nem történt, a halál oka egyelőre ismeretlen.
Holtan találtak irodafülkéjében a Wells Fargo bank alkalmazottját az egyesült államokbeli Arizonában. A 60 éves Denise Prudhomme-t augusztus 20-án találták meg, miközben a belépési adatok szerint kártyájával utoljára augusztus 16-án lépett be az irodába.
Az irodában dolgozó többi alkalmazott a kellemetlen szagokra lett figyelmes, viszont azt gondolták, hogy a szennyvízcsövekből származik. Az eset azért történhetett meg, mert Denise asztala az iroda olyan területén volt, ahol kevesen fordultak meg.
„Mélyen megrendültünk kollégánk, Denise Prudhomme elvesztése miatt” – nyilatkozta a cég.
A bank az eset után felvette a családdal a kapcsolatot, és biztosították őket támogatásukról. A cégnél belső vizsgálatot indított a munkavállalók jóléte és biztonsága érdekében. A helyi rendőrség is nyomozást indított az üggyel kapcsolatban, szerintük bűncselekmény nem történt, bár a halál okát egyelőre nem sikerült megállapítani – írta a Metro.

A rendőrség helyi idő szerint délután tartott sajtótájékoztatóján elhangzott, hogy a 23 éves Connor Sturgeon az egyik közösségi oldalon élőben közvetítette a támadást.
Lousville megbízott rendőrfőnöke beszámolt arról, hogy a férfit a rendőrökkel vívott tűzpárbajban lelőtték. Jaqueline Quinn-Villaroel hozzátette, remélik, hogy az interneten megjelent erőszakos felvételeket sikerült mindenhonnan eltávolítani.
A sérültek közül ketten rendőrök, egyikük, egy 26 éves tiszt állapota válságos; rajta műtétet hajtottak végre. Louisville egyetemi kórházának szóvivője azt közölte, hogy a sérültek közül többeket már hazaengedtek.
A lövöldözésről szóló bejelentés után néhány percen belül kiérkeztek a helyszínre a rendőrök, akik ezzel több ember életét mentették meg – hangzott el a sajtóértekezleten, ahol azt is közölték, hogy
a tettes a banknyitás előtt nyitott tüzet a kollégáira, akik épp értekezletet tartottak.
Craig Greenberg, Louisville polgármestere úgy fogalmazott, hogy „célzott, erőszakos” cselekményről volt szó.
Nem sokkal a Lousville belvárosában történt erőszakos cselekmény után a város egy másik kerületében is lövöldözésben halt meg egy ember, egy másik pedig megsebesült – mondták el az illetékesek a tájékoztatón, de az is elhangzott, hogy a két eset között nincs kapcsolat.

A vizsgálat megállapította, hogy a tisztviselő bankbetéti szerződéseket hamisított, és nagyon kedvező kamatozású betéteket ígért az embereknek. Az intézményvezető hamis szerződéseket írt alá, banki pecsétet helyezett rájuk és átadta azt a károsultaknak. A férfi azt a pénzt, amelyet a lakosok a betétszámlára tettek, megtartotta, még csak a banki kasszába sem rakta be.
A csalás által 36 ezer dollárhoz jutott, mely az akkori árfolyam szerint egymillió hrivnyának felelt meg. Az ügyben tart az eljárás, a férfire akár 8 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.

Súlyos adatszivárgás történt a Credit Suisse-nél, a vasárnap nyilvánosságra hozott információk szerint a svájci pénzintézetnek állítólag évek óta ügyfelei voltak különböző korrupt, tekintélyelvű politikusok, kábítószerkereskedők, feltételezett háborús bűnösök és emberkereskedők.
A több mint harmincezer Credit Suisse-ügyfél banktitkait tartalmazó dokumentumok feldolgozását 46 hírlap – köztük a Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ), a The Guardian, a Le Monde és a New York Times – nemzetközi konzorciuma végezte el a Szervezett Bűnözés és Korrupció Jelentési Projekt (OCCRP) támogatásával.
A Süddeutsche Zeitung szerint az adatszivárgás azt mutatja, hogy bűnözők számlákat nyithattak, illetve megtarthatták meglévő számláikat annak ellenére, hogy „a bank már régóta tudhatta, hogy jogsértőkkel van dolga”.
A pénzintézet vasárnap vehemensen tagadta állásfoglalásában a vádakat, azt írták: „a beszámoló… hiányos, pontatlan, illetve szelektív – szövegkörnyezetből kiragadott – információkon alapul, ami a bank üzleti tevékenysége részrehajló megítéléséhez vezet”.
A Credit Suisse hangsúlyozta, hogy az esetek többségében régi, még az 1940-es évekig visszanyúló ügyekről van szó, és a lapok által hivatkozott számlák 90 százalékát már bezárták. „Vizsgálni fogjuk az ügyet, és szükség esetén további intézkedéseket teszünk” – tette hozzá a bank.
A belső banki adatok szerint az ügyfélkörhöz számos állam- és kormányfő, miniszter, hírszerzési szolgálat vezetője, oligarcha és kardinális tartozik. A lapok által hivatkozott, névtelenséget kérő kiszivárogtató úgy fogalmazott, hogy a svájci banktitok szerinte erkölcstelen. „A pénzügyi titok ürügye mindössze egy fügelevél, hogy eltakarják ezzel a svájci bankok szégyenletes együttműködői szerepét az adócsalókkal” – mondta a forrás.
Mint ismeretes, a Credit Suisse vádlottként szerepel abban a perben, amelyben állítólag több millió eurót mosott tisztára az intézmény pénztárán keresztül egy bolgár kábítószer-kereskedő.

A nyomozás során kiderült, a volt elnökségi vezető, a bank haszonélvezőjeként két személy segítségével elsikkasztotta az építkezések finanszírozásával foglalkozó alapítványok tagjainak pénzét.
A banki tisztviselők két hűségprogramot hajtottak végre építésfinanszírozási alapok bevonásával. Az akció feltételei szerint a lakások felújításának négyzetméterenkénti ára 169,75–190,55 hrivnya között mozgott, amit a bank és a megbízók között megkötött megállapodások is megerősítenek.
Mivel a két jogi személy nem tartotta be a feltételeket, a bank felmondta a beruházási szerződéseket, és indokolatlanul 22,7 millió hrivnyát adott vissza nekik, ami tízszer több, mint az általuk befektetett alapok összege.

Mianmarban minden bankintézet ideiglenesen bezár a gyenge internetkapcsolat miatt, mely az országban bevezetésre kerülő rendkívüli állapot következtében alakult ki.
Mint korábban beszámoltunk róla, tegnap tartották volna Mianmarban az új parlament első ülését, ami a hadseregnek nem volt ínyére, miután a novemberi választásokon mindössze 33 mandátumot kapott a támogatásukat élvező Szövetségi Szolidaritás és Fejlődés Pártja.
A Reuters szerint a hadsereg kijelentette, hogy a legutóbbi parlamenti választásokon történt csalások miatt vezettek be rendkívüli állapotot az ország területén.
Számos ország, köztük az Egyesült Államok, Törökország és Ausztrália is elítélte a hadsereg fellépését, és felszólította őket az őrizetbe vett vezetők szabadon bocsátására.
