192 bányász rekedt a föld alatt, miután Oroszország nagyszabású támadást indított a Dnyepropetrovszki területen található szénbánya ellen – közölte az ukrán energetikai vállalat, a DTEK.
A DTEK szerint ez az elmúlt két hónap negyedik nagyobb támadása a cég szénüzemei ellen. A helyszínen azonnal megkezdték a bányászok kimenekítését, és a vállalat később bejelentette, hogy mind a 192 dolgozót biztonságban a felszínre hozták, sérülés nélkül – írja a The Kyiv Independent.
A DTEK Ukrajna legnagyobb magán energetikai cége, amelyet több orosz csapás is ért az elmúlt időszakban, ami termelésleállásokhoz és lakossági fűtéskimaradásokhoz vezetett. Tizenhárom bányászt találtak holtan egy perui aranybányában, miután néhány nappal korábban elrabolták őket – közölte a helyi sajtó és a hatóságok.
Az áldozatok a Poderosa bányavállalat alkalmazottai voltak, amely Peru északi részén, a Pataz tartományban működteti az egyik legnagyobb aranybányáját. Peru a világ egyik legnagyobb aranytermelője: évente több mint 100 tonna aranyat termel ki, ami a globális aranykínálat körülbelül 4%-át jelenti. A növekvő aranyárak és a gyenge állami ellenőrzés miatt azonban az illegális bányászat és a hozzá kapcsolódó erőszak egyre súlyosabb problémát jelent az ország számára – közölte a BBC.
A bányászokat egy illegális bányászattal foglalkozó szervezet ellen küldték ki, hogy fellépjenek a térségben tapasztalható jogellenes tevékenységek ellen, azonban egy fegyveres bűnbanda elrabolta őket, majd napokon át túszként tartották fogva őket egy bányaaknában.
A túszejtők fenyegető üzeneteket küldtek az áldozatok családtagjaiknak, mielőtt kivégezték volna őket.
A perui Diario Correo hírportál szerint egy közösségi médiában terjedő videó, amelyet feltehetően maguk az elkövetők készítettek, a kivégzés pillanatait is rögzítette. A felvételen látható, ahogy az áldozatokat közvetlen közelről lőtték le. A mészárlás indítékai egyelőre ismeretlenek.
A Poderosa vállalat közleményében csalódottságát fejezte ki, amiért a rendőrség és a hadsereg nem képes megfékezni az illegális bányászatot és a szervezett bűnözést a térségben. Mint írták, „a régióban tovább fokozódik az erőszak légköre”, az állam pedig nem tudja garantálni sem az alkalmazottak, sem a bányászok biztonságát.
A cég adatai szerint 2020 óta több bányájukat is elfoglalták bűnbandák, amelyekben robbantásos támadásokat is végrehajtottak, például márciusban, amikor felrobbantottak egy nagyfeszültségű tornyot, amely az aranybányákat látta el árammal. Ugyanebben a hónapban a bűnözők két embert is megöltek a Pataz kerületben, miközben megpróbáltak behatolni a vállalat működő bányaterületeire.
A vállalat szerint az illegális bányászat és az ahhoz kapcsolódó szervezett bűnözés „teljes büntetlenség” mellett tevékenykedhet az országban.

A hírt Makszim Kozickij, a megyei katonai adminisztráció vezetője közölte. Elmondása szerint 500 méter mélyen történt a földcsuszamlás, egy 37 és egy 36 éves bányász vesztette életét, akik három és hat éve dolgoztak a bányában.

Az orosz hadsereg ágyúzásai miatt leállt a berendezések működése Donyeck megye egyik bányájában, aminek következtében több mint 160 bányász rekedt a mélyben – hozta nyilvánosságra az ukrán energetikai minisztérium csütörtökön a Telegramon.
Az Ukrajinszka Pravda emlékeztetett arra, hogy előző nap az orosz ágyúzások miatt megszakadt a donyecki régió egyik bányájának áramellátása. Akkor 25 bányász rekedt a föld alatt, de őket már a felszínre hozták.
Andrij Juszov, az ukrán katonai hírszerzés szóvivője egy tévéműsorban elmondta, hogy tudomásuk szerint Harkiv és a vele szomszédos Szumi megye elleni támadásokra az orosz hadsereg egy több mint ötvenezres csoportot vont össze.
A harkivi régióban zajló harcokkal kapcsolatban úgy fogalmazott, hogy „most pontosan egy határ menti műveletet látunk, ami nem Harkiv városa elleni roham”.
A Szumi megyét ért fenyegetésekkel kapcsolatban Juszov megjegyezte: „ha lesz ok az aggodalomra, hivatalosan is közlik. Az ottani helyzet jól ismert, ahogy az ellenség tervei és erőforrásai is”.
A vezérkar legfrissebb, csütörtöki összesítése szerint az orosz hadsereg ukrajnai embervesztesége hozzávetőleg elérte a 497 700-at. Az ukrán erők szerdán a Szu-25-ön felül megsemmisítettek még egyebek mellett 11 orosz harckocsit, negyven tüzérségi és egy légvédelmi rendszert, valamint 45 drónt.

Több mint ötszáz bányászt tartanak fogva kollégáik a föld alatt már második napja Dél-Afrikában, egy Johannesburg melletti aranybányában, egy elfajult szakszervezeti vita miatt – közölte a bánya vezetője kedden.
A létesítményt üzemeltető New Kleynfontein Gold Mine vezérigazgatója azt mondta, az incidens hétfőn kora reggel kezdődött, mikor egy nyilvántartásba nem vett szakszervezet bányászai több száz embert megakadályoztak abban, hogy az éjjeli műszak befejeztével elhagyják a bányát. A vezérigazgató figyelmeztetett: a helyszínen kalapácsok, csákányok, lapátok és más egyéb olyan bányászati felszerelések is találhatók, amelyek akár fegyverként is használhatók.
A vezérigazgató tudomása szerint 543 alkalmazottja tartózkodhat a föld alatt a bánya különböző pontjain, a „túszejtőkkel” pedig hétfőn kora reggel vették fel a kapcsolatot. Beszámolója alapján a dulakodás során egy férfi súlyos fejsérülést szenvedett, azonban az érte küldött mentőt és biztonsági tisztet az irányítást átvevő rivális szakszervezet bányászai szintén túszul ejtették. A bányába vezényelt rendőröknek nem sikerült a bányászokkal kapcsolatba lépniük vezetékes telefonon és rádión sem.
A Bányászok Országos Szakszervezete (NUM), a bánya által elismert hivatalos szakszervezet közlése szerint több mint ötszáz tagjukat „huligánok tartják fogva a föld alatt”, illetve a fogva tartott bányászok között nők is vannak.
A bányát irányító cég az AMCU nevű rivális szakszervezet tagjait hibáztatja a kialakult helyzetért, és azzal vádolta meg az AMCU bányászait, hogy saját szakszervezetüket akarják a bánya hivatalos szakszervezetévé tenni. Az AMCU tagjai azonban tagadták a cég információit: állításuk szerint tagjaik ülve tüntettek szakszervezetük érdekében.

Kettőszáz lengyel bányász vonult fel Varsóban az európai energiapolitika ellen tüntetve, a munkahelyeik védelmében.
A bányászok azt kiabálták, „állítsuk meg Brüsszelt, nem akarunk a munkahelyek elvesztésével járó energiaforradalmat”, miközben az Európai Bizottság varsói képviseletének épülete elé vonultak.
A demonstrációt a szakszervezetek; az „IGEN Lengyelország energiaszuverenitására, NEM a magas energiaárakra” jelszóval hirdették meg.
„Energiaátalakítás? Igen, de tisztességes feltételek mellett! Nyugodtan, lassan. Úgy, hogy minden megszűnő munkahelyet, egy kapcsolódó iparágban lévő munkahellyel pótoljanak. Ahol hasonló a jövedelem, presztizs, és a tisztelet. És nem valami alacsonyabb rendű munkakörrel” – követelte a tüntetés vezérszónoka.
A szakszervezeti vezetők szerint az EU energiapolitikája árt a lengyel gazdaságnak.
A Szolidaritás Párt parlamenti képviselője a bányászok mellé állt.
„A lengyelek nem mennek bele az energiaárak drasztikus emelésébe. Energiafüggetlenségünk saját erőforrásokra épül. Lengyelországnak van szene, és ebből kell energiát, hőt termelnünk” – érvelt Janusz Kowalski.
A szénipar jelentős munkaadó Lengyelországban, ahol az elektromos energia több mint felét fekete- és barnaszénből nyerik.
A Glasgow-i klímacsúcson a lengyel küldött kijelentette, 2050-ig nem fogják tudni bezárni az összes széntüzelésű erőművet.
