A 74 éves Constance Glantzot hétfő reggel halottnak nyilvánították egy nebraskai idősek otthonában, majd egy helyi temetkezési vállalathoz szállították a holttestét. A ravatalozó egyik munkatársa nem sokkal dél előtt vette észre, hogy a nő még lélegzik, és azonnal megkezdte az újraélesztést, miközben egy másik dolgozó hívta a mentőket.
Constance-t egy közeli kórházba szállították, és a Lancaster megyei seriff hivatala közleményben tudatta, hogy életben van.
„Ez egy nagyon szokatlan eset. Harminc éve vagyok rendőr, de még soha nem történt ilyesmi” – mondta Ben Houchin Lancaster megyei seriffhelyettes.
