A kárpátaljai rendőrség Lemberg megyei kollégáikkal rövid időn belül felkutatta és letartóztatta azt az 52 éves munkácsi férfit, aki elgázolt egy gyalogos nőt, majd elhagyta a baleset helyszínét. A férfit akár 8 év börtönbüntetés is fenyegeti.
November 20-án reggel a rendőrség értesítést kapott, hogy a Volóc mellett, az út szélén holtan találtak egy nőt.
A helyszínre azonnal kiérkezett a rendőrség. Az elsődleges vizsgálatok alapján sikerült megállapítani, hogy az 56 éves nő az útszélen gyalogolt. A gázolást egy teherautó okozta, amelynek vezetője elhagyta a baleset helyszínét. A Biztonságos Kárpátalja videómegfigyelő rendszer és a bűnügyi elemző osztály segítségével sikerült kideríteni, hogy a tettes már elhagyta Kárpátalja területét, Lemberg megyében fogták el.
Az ügyben tart a bünügyi eljárás.

Szeptember 6-án 21 óra körül érkezett bejelentés a rendőrségre Ungváron, a Drugeth utcában történt közlekedési balesetről.
Az Ungvári Járási Rendőrség nyomozói megállapították, hogy a KIA Sorento sofőrje elütött egy 27 éves ungvári nőt, aki az úton haladt. Majd egy, az út szélén parkoló autóba hajtott, és elmenekült a baleset helyszínéről. A súlyosan megsérült áldozatot az intenzív osztályra szállították.
A rendőrök azonnal megkezdték a cserben hagyó felkutatását. Alig egy óra leforgása alatt megtalálták a vétkes sofőr elhagyott autóját, a sofőr keresése viszont egész éjszaka tartott. Hollétére viszont most bukkantak. Kiderült, hogy az elkövető egy 35 éves helyi lakos, akit ideiglenes fogdába helyeztek. Vérmintát vesznek tőle a szervezetében lévő alkohol vagy egyéb tiltott anyagok mennyiségének meghatározása céljából
A nyomozók a sértett súlyos sérülését okozó közlekedésbiztonsági szabályok megsértése miatt indítottak büntetőeljárást.

Július 6-án bejelentés érkezett az ilosvai rendőrséghez, miszerint Kovácsréten (Kusnicja) elütöttek egy nőt, a sofőr pedig elmenekült a helyszínről.
A helyszínre azonnal kiérkeztek a hatóságok, akik a térfigyelő kamerák segítségével azonosították az elkövetőt. A Chevrolet sofőrje figyelmetlenségből gázolta el az 51 éves nőt, aki egy irányba tartott az autóval. Az áldozat a mentőautóban belehalt sérüléseibe.
A rendőrség rövid időn belül letartóztatta a 64 éves járművezetőt, az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult. A tettesre akár 10 év börtönbüntetés is várhat.

Ungváron egy Toyota Rav4 sofőrje elgázolt egy kerékpárost néhány nappal ezelőtt és elmenekült a helyszínről. A hatóságok körözést adtak ki a járművezetőre.
A baleset a Vám és Sevcsenko utca kereszteződésén történt. Vitalij Hlagola újságíró elmondása szerint a balesetet okozó autó Ivan Demjancsuké, aki a Kárpátaljai Reformhivatal exvezetője.
A técsői rendőrség munkatársai letartóztattak egy 38 éves helyi lakost, aki ittas állapotban elgázolt egy gyalogost és elmenekült a helyszínről.
Az eset február 1-jén történt az esti órákban, egy 36 éves férfit ütöttek el. A Toyota sofőrje elgázolta az út szélén kerékpárját toló gyalogost. Ezt követően elhagyta a helyszínt.
A sofőrt előzetes letartóztatásba helyezték, vérében 1,2 promille alkoholszintet mutattak ki, ami a hatszorosa a megengedettnek.
Az ügyben folyik a nyomozás, a vizsgálatok folynak – közölte a megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálata.

A baleset szeptember 11-én történt Szinevéren. A hatóságokhoz bejelentés érkezett egy férfitől, aki elmondta, hogy egy benzinkút közelében egy halott kislányra bukkant, akit valószínűleg elgázoltak.
A helyszínre kiérkezett az operatív csoport, akik kiderítették, hogy a 13 éves kislányt egy piros Mercedes Vito ütötte el, a sofőr azonnal elmenekült a helyszínről.
A rendőrségnek sikerült letartóztatni a tettest, egy 22 éves alsókalocsai fiatalt, aki mint kiderült, ittas állapotban ült volánhoz. Jelenleg előzetes letartóztatásban van.
Az ügyben büntetőeljárás indult, a vizsgálatok megkezdődtek.
