Két orosz teherszállító hajó súlyosan megrongálódott a hevesen tomboló vihar miatt a ma a reggeli órákban a Fekete-tengeren, a Kercsi-szorosnál.
Az egyik teherhajó a Volgoneft 212 fedélzetén a 13 fős legénység utazott, rakománya pedig 4300 tonna fűtőolaj volt, a hajó zátonyra futott.
A Shot távirati iroda egy másik, veszélyben levő hajóról a Volgoneft 239-ről is beszámolt, ami szintén a Kercsi-szorosban sérült meg. A fedélzetén 14 fős legénység utazott és kőolajat szállított.
A tengeri kutató-mentő szolgálatok jelentése szerint a tartályhajók balesetét a rossz időjárási körülmények okozták.
Információk szerint, a Volgoneft-212 teljes legénységét kimentették: 11 embert kórházba, egy embert egy mentőhajóba szállítottak, egy utas pedig meghalt, őt nem sikerült újraéleszteni.
A balesetben négy szerelő maradt a másik hajó rakterében, akiket egyelőre nem találtak meg.
Az orosz védelmi minisztérium korábban arról számolt be, hogy december 15-én éjszaka az orosz légvédelmi rendszerek 15 ukrán drónt tartóztattak fel és semmisítettek meg, ebből 13-at a Fekete-tenger felett.
A nyilvánosságra hozott felvételeken látható, amint az egyik tartályhajó kettétörik és elsüllyed a tomboló vihar közepette, miközben olajfoltok úsznak a víz felszínén.
