Visszahelyezték a gyertyánligeti P. Frangepán Katalin Gimnázium óvodájára a letépett zászlót. A hivatalos közlés szerint meggondolatlan, ittas fiatalok követték el a bűncselekményt, akiket előállítottak. Mint ismeretes a magánintézmény homlokzatáról ismeretlenek eltávolították a magyar zászlót, amit magukkal vittek. A hatóságok azonban gyorsan eljártak az ügyben.
Március 30-án tűz keletkezett a rahói járási Gyertyánligeten, egy fa lakóházban.
Mint kiderült, szünetelt az áramszolgáltatás, így a tulaj bekapcsolta a generátort. Kis idő elteltével felfedezte, hogy tűz ütött ki a házban, s felhívta a tűzoltóságot.
A lángok rohamosan terjedtek a faházon, a ház 160 négyzetméteren égett. A tűz a ház és a melléképület tetőszerkezetében tett kárt.
A történtek okát és a károk értékét még vizsgálják a szakértők.

Hírportálunk is beszámolt arról, hogy egy 13 éves kisfiú zuhant a folyóba január 5-én Gyertyánligeten.
Az információk szerint a kisfiú szomszédjával tartott hazafelé az erdőből, ekkor történt a tragédia. A kamaszgyerek két napon át a 24 éves, erdész házában tartózkodott, akinek segített fát vágni. Egy szekéren tartottak hazafelé, azonban egy pillanatban elsodorta őket a folyó. A 24 éves fiatalember előbb megpróbálta egyedül megkeresni a kis Bohdant, azonban sikertelenül. Ekkor értesítette a mentőalakulatot.
A mentőosztag jelentése szerint a kisfiú holttestére az eltűnés helyétől körülbelül 10 kilométerre találtak rá január 7-én.

Egy 13 éves kisfiú zuhant a folyóba január 5-én Gyertyánligeten. Scserba Bohdant még nem sikerült megtalálnia a mentőalakulatnak.
Az információk szerint a kisfiú szomszédjával tartott hazafelé az erdőből, ekkor történt a tragédia. A fiú körülbelül 140 cm magas, rövid, szőke hajú, sovány testalkatú. Kék dzsekit, piros sapkát és kék nadrágot viselt.
A kamaszgyerek két napon át a 24 éves, erdész házában tartózkodott, akinek segített fát vágni. Egy szekéren tartottak hazafelé, azonban egy pillanatban elsodorta őket a folyó. A 24 éves fiatalember előbb megpróbálta egyedül megkeresni a kis Bohdant, azonban sikertelenül. Ekkor értesítette a mentőalakulatot.
Szeptember 6-án reggel 7 óra 22 perckor érkezett bejelentés a katasztrófavédelmi szolgálathoz, miszerint Gyertyánligeten tűz ütött ki egy magángazdaság területén. A tűz a nyári konyhában keletkezett, ahol a ház 84 éves tulajdonosa lakott. A szomszédok akkor fedezték fel a tüzet, amikor a lángok teljesen elnyelték a melléképületet.
Perceken belül a kiérkezett a helyszínre a település helyi tűzoltóságának kirendeltsége. Kicsivel később csatlakoztak a Nagybocskói Állami Tűzoltó és Mentőállomás munkatársai. 07:55-kor sikerült lokalizálniuk a tüzet, és 08:10-kor teljesen megszüntették. A leégett épület szerkezetének lebontása során találták meg a mentősök megtalálták az 1937-es születésű tulajdonos holttestét.
A rendvédelmi szervek jelenleg a tűz okát vizsgálják. A kár összegét is meghatározzák, mivel a tűz egy 20 négyzetméteres nyári konyhát és benne lévő értékek pusztította el, számolt be a kárpátaljai katasztrófavédelmi szolgálat.
