Az orosz hadsereg péntek reggel Iszkander–M cirkálórakétákkal lőtték Harkiv központját, az ellenség célkeresztjébe lakóépületek kerültek, több mint kéttucatnyian megsérültek, egy gyerek pedig életét vesztette – közölte az rbc.ua hírportál helyi és központi forrásokra hivatkozva.
A rendvédelmi szervek és a helyi hatóságok szerint Harkiv központját oroszok rakétákkal vették célba. A találatokat a város Kijev és Osznovjanszk kerületeiben rögzítették. Két többszintes lakóház megrongálódott, egy négyemeletes lakóház pedig megsemmisült. A becsapódás következtében 50 négyzetméteren tűz keletkezett. A tűzoltók hamar eloltották a tüzet.
Ihor Tyerehov, Harkiv polgármestere közölte, hogy az ellenség légicsapásai kizárólag a város civil infrastruktúráját sújtották. A polgármester és a Harkiv Megyei Katonai Adminisztráció tájékoztatása szerint a rakétatámadás következtében 25-en megsérültek, köztük egy 11 hónapos gyermek. A halott egy 10 éves kisfiú, a holttestét a romok alatt találták meg.
