A jelentés szerint Jermak beszámolt arról, hogy hétfőn telefonbeszélgetést folytatott Marco Rubio amerikai külügyminiszterrel, az amerikai elnök megbízott nemzetbiztonsági tanácsadójával. „Tájékoztattam az oroszok folyamatos csapásairól, amelyekkel drónokkal és rakétákkal támadják városainkat, lakóépületeinket. Civileket, gyerekeket ölnek meg, és rombolják az infrastruktúránkat. Az ellenség először támadta meg az ukrán kormányzati épületet – a csapást egy Iszkander ballisztikus rakétával hajtották végre” – mondta.
Jermak és Rubio a biztonsági garanciákról, Ukrajna védelmi támogatásáról, az Oroszország elleni szankciók megerősítéséről és a partnerekkel való fellépések összehangolásáról is tárgyaltak. „Putyin csak az erőt érti, nem akarja leállítani a háborút, továbbra is nyomást kell gyakorolni Oroszországra. A fenntartható béke a célunk, amelyet el kell érnünk” – hangsúlyozta.
Az elnöki hivatalvezető megköszönte Donald Trump amerikai elnöknek a vezető szerepét Oroszország Ukrajna elleni háborújának befejezésében, valamint az egész amerikai népnek a támogatását és segítségét. „Köszönetet mondok Marco Rubio külügyminiszternek is, aki sokat tesz az igazságos béke eléréséért. Vasárnapra virradóra az orosz megszállók nem Shahed öngyilkos drónt, hanem Iszkander cirkálórakétát használtak a kormányépület támadásához Kijevben – számolt be hétfőn az rbc.ua hírportál a Defense Express című katonai kiadványra és Katarina Maternova, az Európai Unió ukrajnai nagykövetének Facebook-bejegyzésére hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a katonai kiadvány forrásai arról tájékoztattak, hogy a törmelék elemzése azt mutatja, hogy a kormányépületet egy Iszkander cirkálórakéta találta el. A rakéta robbanófeje nem robbant fel. Az épület felső emeletein keletkezett tüzet rakétatűz okozta.
Maternova nagykövet a maga részéről megerősítette, hogy az oroszok Iszkander rakétát használtak a csapáshoz. „A saját szememmel láttam: Putyin pontosan tudja, mit csinál. Az Iszkander ballisztikus rakéta, amely eltalálta a kormányépületet, pont oda irányult – az ukrán kormány szívébe. Jelentős mennyiségű repeszdarabot mutattak nekünk. És rengeteg repeszdarabot, ami az Iszkanderbe épített kazettás bombából maradt vissza” – jegyezte meg.
Az ukrán fegyveres erők légierejétől származó hivatalos információk szerint szeptember 7-én éjjel az oroszok kilenc Iszkander cirkálórakétát használtak a támadáshoz, amelyek közül négyet lelőttek. Ugyanakkor az ellenség 810 különféle típusú drónt, valamint négy ballisztikus rakétát használt.
Ahogy a Defense Express emlékeztetett, a 9M727-es cirkálórakéta az Iszkander hadműveleti-taktikai komplexum része a 9M728 és 9M729 rakétákkal együtt. Leggyakrabban Iszkander-K vagy R-500 néven emlegetik. Szakértők szerint a 9M727-et a 3M-14 Kalibr tengeri rakéta földi telepítésű módosításának tekintik.
Oroszország aktívan használja ezt a típusú fegyvert ukrán városok elleni csapásokhoz. Az egyik leghíresebb eset a 2023-as csernyihivi drámaszínház elleni találat volt. A legtöbb orosz fegyverhez hasonlóan a rakéta is jelentős számú nyugati alkatrészt tartalmaz. Ha egy körülbelül 450 kg súlyú robbanófejet normálisan bevetnének, az ilyen csapások következményei sokkal pusztítóbbak lennének.

A jelentés szerint a katonai városvezető azt írta: „A légierő szerint a légvédelmi ütegeink 6 orosz Iszkander-M ballisztikus rakétát semmisítettek meg a főváros felett. Ez egy veszélyes fegyver, amelyet nem könnyű lelőni. És még a lehulló törmelék is komoly pusztítást okozhat.” Szerinte a támadás lakóépületekben, irodaházban és nem lakáscélú infrastruktúrában okozott károkat a Holoszijivka, Szvjatosino, Obolony, Dnyipro és Pecserszk kerületekben. Délelőtt 10:00 órára a kijevi tüzeket eloltották vagy lokalizálták.
A Podol és Szolomjanka kerületekben, valamint a Holoszijivka kerület egyes helyszínein lehulló törmelékekről és károkról szóló információkat nem erősítették meg. Tkacsenko szerint egy 1985-ben született kijevi lakos meghalt a támadás következtében. Négy fővárosi lakos megsérült. Köztük van egy kilenc éves gyerek is. Minden sérült szakképzett orvosi ellátásban részesül.
Az ügyészség megerősítette egy 1985-ben született férfi halálát az Obolony kerületben. A rendőrség közlése szerint az ellenséges támadás következtében tűz ütött ki egy üzletközpont épületében az Obolony kerületben, valamint tűz ütött ki raktárépületekben a Holoszijivka kerületben, valamint tűz ütött ki egy ház tetején a főváros Szvjatosino kerületében. Az épületek udvarán parkoló autók rongálódtak meg.

A megszállók csütörtökre virradó éjszaka 10 Iszkander rakétát lőttek ki Kijevre, de a légvédelmi erők mind a 10-et megsemmisítették, a támadásban hárman meghaltak, köztük egy gyermek – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál az ukrán fegyveres erők vezérkarára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint Oroszország 2:45 órakor ismét megtámadta Ukrajna fővárosát északi irányból, Brjanszk térségéből. Az ellenség összesen 10 Iszkander szárazföldi rakétát lőttek ki. Az ellenség civil és kritikus infrastrukturális objektumokat próbált megcélozni. A légvédelmi erők az összes ellenséges célpontot lelőtték, nevezetesen 7 Iszkander-M ballisztikus rakétát és 3 Iszkander-K cirkálórakétát.
Június 1-jére virradóra az ellenség alattomos tömeges támadások sorozatát folytatta az ukrán főváros ellen. A város különböző részein robbanások és légvédelmi tűz hallatszott. Kijev három kerületében rakétatörmelékek hullottak. Deszna kerületben hárman meghaltak meg a lehulló törmelékektől, köztük egy gyermek. Szemtanúk arról számoltak be, hogy az emberek akkor haltak meg, amikor a bezárt óvóhelyekre próbáltak bejutni. Dnyipro kerületben is vannak károk és áldozatok a lehulló törmelékek miatt.
