Tűz ütött ki a Jekatyerinburgban található Uralmaszavod gyárban – számolt be az orosz állami hírügynökség.
Az orosz katasztrófavédelmi minisztérium szerint a gyár tetőzete kaphatott lángra először.
A tűz mintegy azóta 4500 négyzetméternyi területre terjedt ki. Néhány szemtanú azt mondta, hogy egy robbanást is hallottak, mielőtt a lángok felcsaptak volna.
A legutóbbi híradás szerint a tüzet már sikerült lokalizálni, de eloltani még nem (az oltást nehezíti a sűrű füst is). Az épületből 15 oxigénpalackot és két propánpalackot is kihoztak a tűzoltók.
A jekatyeringurgi Uralmaszavod-gyárnak egyébként nagy történelmi múltja van. Korábban (például a II. világháború idején) katonai eszközök gyártására is átállították az üzemet. Mostanában azonban leginkább polgári célú – elsősorban bányászathoz, szállításhoz használt – eszközöket készítenek itt (legalábbis a nyilvánosan elérhető adatok szerint).

Ismét őrizetbe vették Jekatyerinburg volt polgármesterét, Jevgenyij Rojzmant – írja a Szabad Európa Rádió. Rojzmant legelőször augusztusban vitték el a hatóságok, akkor az orosz hadsereg diszkreditálásának vádjával, most viszont azzal gyanúsítják, hogy a bebörtönzött politikai aktivistához, Alekszej Navalnijhoz köthető „szélsőséges szimbólumokat” terjesztett a VKontakte profilján.
Legalábbis a portált erről tájékoztatta Rojzman ügyvédje, Vlagyiszlav Idamzsapov, majd hozzátette, hogy ügyfelének sosem volt VKontakte profilja. A kérdéses tartalmakat egy Jevgenyij Rojzman csoportban posztolták, amihez magának a politikusnak semmi köze nincs, sőt ilyen nevű csoportból is van vagy húsz a VK felületén – mondta.
Az augusztusi incidenst követően Rojzmant ugyanis szabadon engedték azzal a meghagyással, hogy engedély nélkül nem kommunikálhat senkivel a családtagjain és az ügyvédein kívül, nem használhatja az internetet, a telefont, nem küldhet e-maileket és nem vehet részt nyilvános rendezvényeken.
Rojzman még 2012-ben nyerte el Oroszország negyedik legnagyobb városának polgármesteri tisztségét, amit 2018-ig töltött be. Ezt követően azzal tett szert nagyobb népszerűségre, hogy beteg gyerekeknek gyűjtött pénzt és a támogatói, valamint a média képviselői is gyakran találkozhattak vele a rendszeres kocogásai alatt.
Az Ukrajna elleni orosz támadás óta Rojzman a háború elszánt kritikusa lett, eddig háromszor bírságolták meg az orosz hadsereg diszkreditálásáért. Amennyiben elítélnék a most zajló ügyben, több év börtönt is kaphat.
