Június 2-án a hajnali órákban súlyos közlekedési baleset történt a kárpátaljai Irhóc településen, amelynek során egy 22 éves férfi autójával elvesztette az uralmát a jármű fölött, és egy fának csapódott.
A Kárpátaljai Rendkívüli Helyzetek Állami Szolgálatának (DSZNSZ) tájékoztatása szerint az ütközést követően az autó kigyulladt, és teljesen kiégett. A tűzesetet az autó tulajdonosa jelentette a hatóságoknak.
Az eddigi információk alapján a balesetet az okozhatta, hogy a sofőr előzés közben vesztette el a kontrollt a jármű felett.
A helyszínre két tűzoltóegység vonult ki, és eloltották a lángokat. Az eset körülményeit a hatóságok vizsgálják.

Április 29-én reggel bejelentés érkezett a 102-es segélyvonalra arról, hogy tűz ütött ki egy autóban a Kapusanszkij utcán.
Az Ungvári Járási Rendőrkapitányság munkatársai a helyszínre érkezve részletes helyszíni szemlét tartottak, és megállapították, hogy a lángok egy VAZ márkájú gépkocsit rongáltak meg, amely már több mint egy éve parkolt ezen a területen. A rendőrség szándékos gyújtogatásra utaló jeleket talált.
A közelben a rendőrök négy gyermeket találtak, akik feltehetően érintettek az esetben. A 9 és 11 év közötti kiskorúak jelenleg szüleik kíséretében a rendőrségen tartózkodnak. A rendelkezésre álló információk szerint a gyerekek meg akartak melegedni, ezért tüzet gyújtottak, ami végül a jármű teljes leégéséhez vezetett.
Az ügyben nyomozás indult – közölte a megyei rendőrség sajtószolgálata.

November 24-én a Rahói járásban két tűzeset is történt.
Egy felsőapsai nő arról értesítette a hatóságokat, hogy egy megégett Geely típusú autót talált a mezőn. Később kiderült, hogy az autó tulajdonosa és barátai éjszaka hazafelé tartottak, letértek az útról, és nem tudtak kijutni az autóútra. Egyesek gyalogosan próbáltak hazajutni, míg a 58 éves sofőr úgy döntött, hogy az autóban éjszakázik. A holttestét a rendőrség az égő járműben találta meg.
A másik tűzeset Kőrösmezőn történt. Egy helyi lakos az ablakon keresztül látta a lángokat, és azt gondolta, hogy valaki avart éget. Kiment, hogy megnézze, mi történik, és távolról észrevette, hogy egy fából készült ház lángokban áll. A helyszínre érkezve a szemtanú és veje a 64 éves házigazda holttestére bukkantak a házban. Hamarosan tűzoltóság is kiérkezett, a tűz kitörésének okát vizsgálják.

Kijevben csütörtökre virradó éjjel két férfi felgyújtotta aktivista autóját, de a rendőrök már elfogták az elkövetőket – számolt be az rbc.ua hírportál a fővárosi rendőrség sajtószolgálatára hivatkozva.
A jelentés szerint a gyújtogatás szervezőjéről kiderült, hogy egy 42 éves kijevi lakos, aki egy 39 éves Kijev környéki lakost is bevont a tervébe. Utóbbi nyomon követte az autót, megállapította a helyét, és továbbította az információt a szervezőnek.
A Vidradnij sugárúti tűzesetről éjfél körül érkezett a bejelentés a rendőrségre. A tűz oltása és a helyszíni szemle után megállapították, hogy a tüzet gyújtogatás okozta. A nyomozásban részt vettek a kijevi és a Szolomjanka kerületi rendőrség munkatársai, valamint bűnügyi nyomozók.
A nyomozás során a rendőrök megállapították, hogy az egyik gyújtogató követte a nőt, és kiderítették, hol hagyta autóját. Éjszaka a másik elkövető gyúlékony anyaggal lelocsolta az autót és felgyújtotta.
Mindkét gyanúsított ellen a büntetőtörvénykönyv 27. cikkelye alapján vagyon szándékos megsemmisítése vagy anyagi kár okozása gyújtogatással címén indítottak büntetőeljárást. Az elkövetők 10 év börtönt is kaphatnak. A nyomozás során a bűncselekményben való részvételüket igazoló bizonyítékokat foglaltak le tőlük.

Ausztriában teljes mértékben leégett egy Spanyolországból Moldovába tartó autóbusz 60 külföldi utassal.
A Jevropejszka pravda szerint erről a Deschide.MD számolt be a moldovai külügyminisztériumra hivatkozva.
A tűz a buszban Bécs–A21-es körforgalomnál Fezendorf ütött ki. A lángok 10 perc alatt elborították a járművet.
Amint azt a moldovai külügyminisztérium közölte, a tűz okát nem sikerült megállapítani.
A buszon 60 moldovai és román állampolgár utazott. Az információk szerint senki nem sérült meg.
