Egy ember meghalt, többen pedig megsérültek vasárnap a stockholmi Gröna Lund vidámparkban egy hullámvasút-balesetben – írja a Guardian.
A svéd köztévének nyilatkozó szemtanúk azt mondták, hogy a Jetline nevű hullámvasút részben kisiklott, ez okozta a tragédiát. A rendőrök már megkezdték a helyszínelést, és természetesen a parkot is kiürítik.
A Jetline-ra, amely a vidámpark honlapja szerint egy ponton 90 km/h-s sebességgel is repeszt, és 30 méter magasba viszi az utasait, évente több mint egymillió látogató szokott felülni.
A látványosság látogatói közül néhányan a tetején rekedtek, a mentőknek le kellett őket lesegíteniük. A helyszínen jelenleg nagyszabású mentési akció folyik.
A balesetet követően összesen hét ember – gyerekek és felnőttek – került kórházba.

Egy 14 éves lány életét vesztette, egy 13 éves fiú pedig megsérült csütörtökön az észak-dániai Aarhus városának vidámparkjában a hullámvasút kisiklása miatt.
Henrik Ragborg Olsen, a sok látogatót vonzó Tivoli Friheden vidámpark igazgatója az Aarhus Stiftstidende című helyi lapnak nyilatkozva elmondta, hogy a Kobra nevű hullámvasút két hátsó ülése a szerelvény alatt lógott.
A TV2 dán hírtelevízió riportere szerint az utolsó kocsi leszakadt és lezuhant a helyenként 25 méter magas építményről.
A vidámparkot határozatlan időre bezárták. A Tivoli Friheden honlapja szerint a kocsik akár 70 kilométeres óránkénti sebességet is elérhetnek a pályán.
A rendőrség közölte, hogy a baleset okának megállapítására műszaki vizsgálatot indítottak, illetve felveszik a szemtanúk tanúvallomásait.
Az érintetteknek pszichológiai segítséget ajánlottak fel. Emlékezetes, hogy 2008-ban is történt már baleset ennek a vidámparknak a hullámvasútján.
