A finn parti őrség a Twitteren fotót is közzétett a zátonyra futott kompról.
Szeptemberben a Viking Line egy másik utasszállító kompja feneklett meg a körülbelül 6500 szigetből álló Aland-szigeteknél, akkor sem sérült meg senki. A sekély víz és a szűk átjárók miatt nehéz nagy hajókkal közlekedni a térségben.
